I wish i could visit...but difficult from Sweden ;) You have one of the most nicest collection! lots of sets i want! but with 25% tax when imported from Canada to Sweden...makes the deals more difficult! anyway, keep going!

Hello everybody, first of all, I do not know if it is the right place to post that...so please modo change it if you need to. and secondly, I could not find anything on the subject on the forum, therefore I posted it. so please modo, if already out, close that one. Anyway I was interested about that ninjago new theme, so i made some research...and look what i found!! the new catalogue for the 1st half of next year! looks like it is the dutch/belgium one I dunno how to put the actual pdf file in this link, so i give you the adress where I downloaded it. I have to say one thing: BIG DISSAPOINTMENT!!! new police theme...ok...enought of that...may be the boat... Ninjago...no thanks Atlantis... Star wars...not my cup of tea a new theme: Pharaons... minifigures serie 3 on the way...as well as 4th.... new space theme... all in all...Looks like I will save some money next year not buying lego!! (bought too much in 2010 anyway ;) )

I went to my local TRU yesterday to buy the 7599 garbage truck (which is great by the way) and i saw they were selling on different references blue and white box on toy story sets... i have tried to look for it on forum and internet...and i cannot find my answer.. is it a TRU edition? or a good way to sell two boxes since collector (like me) wants all the different boxes and will buy 2.... any answers welcome!

sniff sniff I have those catalogs from 94 and 95...I often watch them, they were great! I told myself the other day while building the 3221 lego truck... "GOD I MISS THOSE mid 90's LEGO" I have to say (again) that I was VERY dissapointed with the pirate lego serie... I do not think i will go for pirate of carabean stuff... I'd rather play with my old ones ;)

i guess bricklink will be the best place to fulfill my wishes...

i am so excited to get home today after work!! I just got a nice delivery :) 10210, 10211, and the train sets 2010 (except passenger one...not fancy it)!!! I will let my son decides where we should start ;)

Yes I had them about 3 weeks ago built side by side....and my neighbour came for a coffee with his son... my son and his son started to play with the pirate lego that were in the living room, it ended up that my son and my neighbour's son wanted a fight against their daddy :) well...after a big fight, between pirates (sons) and imperials (Daddies), Everything is now in pieces in a bag :) ...did not have time yet to rebuilt them...bu we had a lot of funs with those pirate ships and the islands... oh well, winter will be back soon, so will build them again for a big fight! and this time i promise i will take pictures :) sets involved: 6276, 6277, 6279 for the bases 6280, 6289, 6268, 6271 for the ships next time i take out the 6285 and 6286 to fight against the imperial flagship :) so, well, to answer the first question, YES, they look great together and complement each other. I just love those old pirate collection. the new one just do not fit in the old one...my thoughts though....

it is a tricky question... I recently bought the caroussel in legoshop london bluewater, with the currency rate, that was almost a 40% discount to Sweden and 25% discount to Euro prices... but for others, like the imperial ship, i found it cheaper in France... and last week the 7747 wind turbine was 50% in TRU sweden, roughly 30 euros...a bargain... so basically, what i am trying to say, it is a hunt to find the best deals! it is worth it i think on expensive sets like caroussel or imperial. Then you need friends, connection or travel yourself to find those deals.

Thanks for the review, I got hold of one a couple of months ago. Not the greatiest set as you say, but a must have in a lego collection in my point of view.
