Party Lines Mafia - Day Two: Veto
Piratedave84 replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I've been compiling yesterday's voting results and here's what I got: Maurice Teichman (mostlytechnic) TPRU (1) Unvote TPRU (0) adventurer1 (5) < Ties vote Unvote adventurer1 (3) calanon (9) Winnifred Karchevsky (Walter Kovacs) Goliath (1) Unvote Goliath (0) adventurer1 (2) Unvote adventurer1 (4) calanon (6) < pushes calanon to lead (2) "Tiny" Peter Rutherford (TPRU) calanon (3) < to "add pressure" Carol Nottingham (Calanon) NO VOTE Siegfried Dixon (Speedy) calanon (2) J. Leroy King (jluck) calanon (4) Addie Tremain (adventurer1) brickelodeon (1) Lloyd Spalding (Lego Spy) calanon (8) Bobby Benedict (Bob) adventurer1 (1) Bjorn Borchard (badboytje88) adventurer1 (4) < ties vote Bryant Laughlin - (Brickelodeon) calanon (1) Sinclair Viola - (Scaevola) adventurer1 (5) Gerald Hatley (Goliath) WK (1) Unvote WK (0) adventurer1 (3) < Does not understand vote on Carol < says Adventurer1 has better defence then calanon; does not change vote Jacob Palacios (JackJonespaw) NO VOTE Pierce Davy (Piratedave) Goliath (1) Unvote Goliath (0) calanon (5) < pushes calanon to lead Archie Matthews (Adam) Mencot (1) Unvote Mencot (0) calanon (10) < seals lynch Molly Callaghan (Mencot) NO VOTE Stanley Figurelli (Stickfig) JJP (1) Unvote JJP (0) Calanon (7) There's not much to go on here. As we can see there has been a lot of vote switching in the last hours and there is one that strikes me as odd; Gerald's. He admits his vote might be misplaced in saying that Addie's defence was adequated and yet does not move his vote to Carol (whom he admits is a legitimate candidate for a lynch). The timing of this makes it even weirder as there were 8 votes on Carol at that time and it seems to me that Gerald was unwilling to advance Carol's lead knowing she would turn up town. Based on this, the recent tirade and his general lack of attention/understanding, I Vote: Gerald Hatley (Goliath) -

I was about to say that about Winifred; I had a scum read on her. I'm surprised that Leroy was targeted; rather than Bjorn, Jacob or Addie who have contributed little to nothing on day 1. I'm curious to see what these 3 have to say today. -

I'm not liking what I'm seeing, this is shaping up to be a no lynch ... , I will therefore Unvote: Gerald Hatley (Goliath) and Vote: Carol Nottingham (Calanon) I think we need a lynch today and of the 2 main candidates, I feel Carol is our best bet. I'm not however liking how Gerald seems to be mimicking Winnifred's every move; sheep or scum buddy? -
First post updated with turns 16, 17, 18, and 19 and model sent to 20th builder. We're almost there! the model looks AMAZING! The water towe, bank sign and train station add so much details to the model!

I said it earlier, it's a day one vote, anything goes. What do you figure the odds of a day one lynch being scum are? My vote is as good as any. Speaking of which, Where's your vote? -

You may have misunderstod me (or I may have not been clear enough); I never said I though he was scum or scummy. My vote is based on his inability to read and follow the pace of the situation. Why are you trying to sway my vote? Do you have reason to defend him? Side note: I was under the impression that it was the player with most votes which would be lynched but I now see it's a majority vote; this may change my vote in the long run seeing I'm a big supporter of the "we need a lynch on day one" philosophy but for now my vote stands. Think before you act, read the thread, understand the rules; your lack of attention is irritating. I did not vote because I got drunk and forgot to; last time I mafia'ed drunk it was messy, very messy -

I can see how the case on Carol is valid-ish due to his wanting out of the voting once he had votes; odd behaviour indeed. Personally though I would like to Vote: Gerald Hatley (Goliath) for 2 reasons: 1) I don't want to have to 'carry him' through the game; it's obvious by his posts that he does not grasp some of the concepts of the situation and I feel he will become a burden on us in the long term. This makes him (to me) a perfect day one lynch candidate. 2) His vote for Winnifred was cearly out of spite and was just messy; see point 1) -

... Is it not a bot early for an 'out of spite' vote? Your edgyness is telling, there is no reason for you to act like this. -

Ah! Appel to my feelings!! In all honesty, if I am to vote for someone else, it'll most likely be you. BUT let's face it, as much as I know you can be the best candidate, I also know you could be the architect if our doom... Decisions, decisions, décisions! -

I'm not understanding why anyone would vote for anyone else than themselves at this point ... I'm not sure I'm willing to trust anyone but myself. I'm going to hold off on my vote for now; that is to say, sell me the idea that voting for one of you is in my best interest. -

Pierce here! -
The model is being sent behind the scenes; my RL is crazy busy right now so I don;t get to post here (and update the first post) as much as I should but rest assured that the model is making it's way to the builders. It's currently with jakon who has until end of day today to send it in (although he did not read the PM yet!)

Party Lines Mafia - Signups: Election Day

I'm in! I have 2 questions: 1) is voting mandatory and 2) will there be some type of hiatus/break during Christmas (24-25-26th)? 1) played several games here and none elsewhere. 2) my performance is 'OK' I tend to overthink things and to generally act scummy. I've been fortunate enough to have great mentors in my teams (Speedy!!) and they've helped me get a better understanding of the game. I feel I'm constantly improving.... I guess! 3)N/A 4) yes 5) PIRATES!!! And both marvel and DC superheroes ... And the new disney princesses ... And ... ALL THE LEGO! -
Slick! Thanks I'll update post one today or tomorrow and send the model to the next reserve in a few minutes
-
Yes! How about we make 3 models; one whole, one left and one right. Put the cart (if possible) on the right side.
-
I uploaded the models to the first post and sent it to the last builder. I see that it's impossible to complete the model in 300 bricks so I will keep sending the model to the builders in order in which they appear under the 'spare' list until the model is finished. I'm thinking 5 turns or so should do the trick.
-
So sorry about the délaya guys; RL kicked my megablocks last week! I'trya and get the model uploaded today. Sooooooo sorry
-
Turns 12 and 13 updated; the model has rotated again and its getting really hard on my PC to select everything and rotate it all at once; if the next builder is up for it/able to, it'd be very nice if the model could be rotated back to it's original place.

Alright, steps 10 and 11 are up. I asked MeBbreden to continue to build on existing structures; we have 5 builders left and 3 buildings to finish so it would be nice if those could be done by turn 16. I'm also thinking about offering second turns to builder so we can complete the buildings and fill the base model; would anyone be interested??
