Did anybody else not get a spare printed piece with the catcycle chase?
B-Lister replied to B-Lister's topic in LEGO Licensed
Possibly, but a lot of the reviewers sound American. I bought the Black Panther Jet in Australia last year and I could be mistaken, but I believe it had all of the same extras as the US set. -

I'm in the US. Like I said, it's no big deal. I have all the parts to build the set. It was just strange that all the reviews crowed about getting a spare, but mine didn't. -
Sweet, I am literally on a plane to Australia right this minute, and wanna get some toy hunting in while there.

I stand corrected. It is pretty clear that it is inspired by the Keaton Batman. Yes, some of the details are off, but it is apparent. I didn't have a 2006 Batman. The only figures I had from the old Batman theme are Robin and Penguin.

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion

With Aladdin we finally have a fez with hair. Anybody think this part will be reused for a future Eleventh Doctor figure? I think that looks more like Dash, not Mr. Incredible.- 4,155 replies

NO Minifigure is based on the Keaton Batman. The Black Batman is based on the 90s Grant Morrison/Howard Porter JLA look. A Keaton Batman would have the distinctive buckle and batsymbol.

Wow. Rarely does a differing opinion present its case so fully that I change my entire way of thinking. It is human nature to debate, but you really did change my way of thinking regarding the Wilder film. The above post is well said. I agree with every point you make.

With all the robots going rogue in the 80s (like RALF, here, and JINX from Space Camp, or even Johnny Five) its a wonder they didn't shutter NASA altogether...

Very nice MOC. Stylistically, I prefer the Gene Wilder version, but storywise, the Johnny Depp version is closer to the book. I hated the way the Gene Wilder one ended. Charlie was supposed to get the factory because he was better than all of the other kids, but the Wilder one made him a thief.

Only thing I care about, is eventually getting the Eighth Doctor.

I still need to mailRocket to my brother in Aus. -
I dunno, Bart's costume was the one in the game.

Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?

I only do it with convention exclusives that would be imposdibly expensive otherwise. If they ever did a Magneto Mobile, I'd buy it. -
We need Bart as Kid Flash and Cassie as Wonder Girl to complete the core of the Tim/Kon/Bart/Cass Titans. Gimme Jaime as Blue Beetle too!

I like the set, but I have no sympathy for Completists who complain this will hit their wallet. You can live without it. If you overpay for it, that's your own doing and your complaints shall fall upon deaf ears.

LOTR came first. Not in lego form, but if anything, the Rancor is the Cave Troll of Star Wars. ;)

Hagrid was good, the Mountain Troll is cool too. But I think Hulk is my fave.

The same way Hasbro and Mattel's exclusives are. Maybe do different packaging, or an exclusive brick with the con pieces.

Hopefully we'll get a sequel, and they can give us the apology figure. Until then, I like the one we have.

Preview figures would be better. Or if they must do the con exclusives, make more, and make them gettable for those who can't make the show.

Drax isn't a big deal to me. It looks right. Yeah, he's green canonically, but as others have stated, there's no point doing a run of a custom color for only one character. Far easier to use a color already being used, to make a one-off.
-
incorrect on both counts. The first Robin was Tim in his original costume. The Juniors Robin features the new Tim head and torso, with the old Tim legs. So it's a hybrid, but I believe the intent was for the Juniors Robin to be Dick.
