I'm currently building this beast... it seems I have some friction on the bucket mover. It doesn't slide really smooth on the black and grey axles, which causes some tension on the big "pusher" parts on the chain.

I did the same with me Ultimate 42009 ( ) and my Ultimate 8043 ( )

I saw the same model last year in Oberhausen, Germany, in the Galleria Kaufhof shop. I suspect they have some kind of robotic arm to assemble these kind of big models.

Were instructions finally made available for this model? Building from a LDD file is not easy...

Damn, I'm so close... I have removed the tilting mechanism for the third wheel (it is always in the lower position now) to make room for the motor to lift the dump bed. The motor for the wheels sits where the engine was in Han's design, but that's too far away (too much torque on the driveshaft). Damn. I really like his model... if only this was RC... The problem is that I know for sure there is a solution, judging the clips on YouTube...

Han, IMHO you don't need pneumatic cylinders for the dump bed. This can be done as shown here in the first picture:

Well, if you search through YouTube, there are plenty of guys who converted the Dump Truck to PF... but alas, no info on how they did it.

I would absolutely LOVE to have this... I already added this to my Ultimate 42009, but the electronics are bigger (about the size of a matchbox).

Hello there, I'm interested in building Han's Dump Truck, but I absolutely want to add PF motors. I've seen it done multiple times on YouTube. Although Han says it's not possible on his website due to lack of space, it clearly is. However, no-one seems to be able to tell me how it is done. I've seen some pictures, but no detailed technical drawings. Any help here? Wim
