Hmm, I can't believe I hadn't yet commented on this ship, its a very nice design, big enough to be powerful, yet sleek and maneuverable. Very nice design, keep bricking! Fire Storm, Captain of the Flame Rat

A very nice little ship, the playability is nice and it's story is cool as well. It seems fairly strong, but watch for Flame Rats

Always the spathing bow! Just ignore it! Honestly though, thats about as low as I can make it without it looking like crap......I'll try it possibly but its probably gonna stay. And honestly I'm kind of thinking of skipping the figure head, with the bow design I can't really mount it anyway. as to the green....I'm going to replace it eventually, but right now, eh -

Thanks mate, glad you liked it, and yeah, the bow coulda been a bit better, but honestly I'm pretty dang happy with how it turned out, entirely techniques I've never done in my life As to the broadside, yeah, she's a 24 gun schooner right now, but once I get the carronade on deck she'll probably be around 40-48, not including chasers, so she is my most powerful ship as of yet -

thank you so much, I'm glad you like it rigging is ALOT harder then it seems on legos though -
Wow, a truly beautiful ship, nice work! I love all the detail, you must have put a great amount of effort into her. Love it, and keep bricking

Hello all, a pretty much final update for you today, I got to work on the rigging today, and got all the sails on, so she is pretty much done. All thats left is the lower deck cannon, upper deck carronade, flags, and maybe some minor rigging on the sides to help hold her together mast wise, as every time I move her she falls apart at the masts, and if that happened now i would most likely scream for about an hour so without further ado.....the updates: the place I always start, the bow, sorry, one pic is of the rigging untrimmed and ones of the port and starboard sides: and a final one of a sort of stern shot...I kinda got artistic....: Hope you all enjoy the new pics of my new pride and joy of the American fleet! She's all trimmed up now and pretty much ready to be put to sea in one more update! -

The very one you recommended, of going with the slanted solid wall front for the bow, didn't lower it or raise the main deck but it still looks pretty decent I think, and yeah, tried the cut out of a marconi sail in paper for the top mast on the back and instantly fell in love with the look -
Wow, a nice little MOC! I love all the little details you worked into each robot. Nice job, and keep bricking

Hey all, a bit of a verbal update for you, I finished the solid front mod for the bow, and extended the front slightly, pretty pleased with how it looks for now, soon the final pics should be up once I finish the marconi sails today and start rigging tomorrow. -
True, looking at it more it does fit fairly well, I might suggest dark red, but I just looked at the prices for pieces of that...oi. All in all a beauty of a ship though

Lol, Junk, not junk! a Junk was a Chinese ship of war http://www.sailboatfamily.com/ChineseJunkShip.jpg
-
I love it, quite original design and a good story as well. Good work, and keep bricking
-
very nice, I like all the little details you added onto it the color scheme is very original, but I can't help thinking its something I'd seen on a Chinese junk more then that style of pirate ship I think our two small ships could probably quite happily rule the seas
-
Very nice, I like all the little details such as the blood from the table and the "Spare parts" A great little build
-
I like it, a very nice design, and you incorporated playability into it well. The only problem I might have is that the red is a little distracting, its understandable on the cannon but on the rest of the ship it kind of draws the eye from other parts. But all in all a nice and elegant little design, nice work

Lol, I like spindles because they were used on a bunch of ships, but solid walls good too...in the end I'll have to try em both and see. and the ^^ emote is left over from my I.M days, two arrows being joy and ^^" being something akin to sheepishness or some such -

I COULD lower the bow...*glances at chisel* but I haven't crossed the line to complete insanity yet And I'm thinking maybe a black figurehead in armor with a spear or something, not sure yet^^" And also, I'm probably going to end up going with solid wall, or at least spindles like on the stern to give it a more angled and war like look rather then artsy -
I actually really like it, I think its very clever how you built the sort of skeletons living room/dead room. I like all the little details you put in, and the hills great. Excellent work and keep bricking

It actually cost me around $170 USD to build it, and I ordered all the pieces in two goes, so it wasn't really that bad and now because I removed one of the masts, I had enough to build the Flame Rat, so I'm going to keep it at 4 because it looks WAY less clustered that way^^ and yeah the prow will have I think black spindle rails like the stern and it will come out probably another masts length, and once I get the Marconi and Spritsails, think thats what they're called, on I'll do the hand rigging. So yeah, A LOT of work left before the final update, but I'm glad you enjoy it! *Should probably be done by end of april at latest, I dearly hope* -

Fires-storm replied to Fires-storm's topic in Pirate MOCs
Yeah, I liked your idea for how to build up on that ship, and your right, the imperial flagship does make a particularly good base And yeah whenever people question something about my MOCs I have to get amazingly inventive -
I like them all, the hell's bell and general crab were especially clever, and the sea monster amazing! And welcome to Eurobricks, I can tell we have another gifted builder among us

My Inaugural Imperial Ship MOC
Fires-storm replied to Skulls_Eye_Schooner_Sailor's topic in Pirate MOCs
most of my ships haven't been cleaned yet, but the ones with not so complex rigging I wash the sails by hand with water, else wise they just hang, and for the bricks, I only do compressed air, nothing fancy and true, while we may not have a lot of comments a lot of views is always nice -
An amazing group of MOCs, I love the pirate island and the port came out amazingly! excellent work, and keep bricking mate
