I ended up watching some more movies today/yesterday. (I am not sure what time frame you would call it but it was kind of spread out in day or so when I seen the movies, and now to the list.) On the Hallmark Channel (I am not sure it was the regular one or the movie version) they show the old "The Shaggy Dog" the one with Fred Murry (and it was in black and white). Then they showed the sequel to "The Shaggy Dog" "The Shaggy D.A.". Then on DVD I watch "The Water Horse' and then "The Seeker:The Darkness is Rising" both of these movies where kind of predictable. For example (and I am thinking some spoilers are going to be given away): "The Water Horse" I figured out the old man was telling a story from his youth before the movie evens hints at it. For "The Seeker" one of the hidden objects is the "hero's soul" and you could see it a mile away way before the final fight with "Darkness". (The hero being some sort of warrior of light).

It looks like Toys'R'Us have some Toy Story 3 sets 20% off. From what I see in the newspaper ad: duplo sets are "pizza planet truck" and "great train chase" sets & of regular sets "trash compactor escape" and "western train" sets.

It is interesting to see how the box was/is packed. I would figure the "Swamp Speeder" would be in its own box like the battle packs.

I watched "Because of Winn-Dixie" the other day it was about what you would expect from that kind of movie. The basic plot of the movie is about a lonely girl (who just moved to town) making friends with a variety of town folks, and patching up her relationship with her preacher farther (the mom left them long ago). One problem I had. And, I would imagine I would be the only one with this problem is the star, "Annasophia Robb" is grown up now (a teenager). That is not the problem just nature, my issue is I seen "Race to Witch Mountain" and she was in that too. My mind keeped thinking what she looked in that movie compared to this one, and I feeled a little wired about that. And that sort of stuff takes you out of the movie (even just a little bit) and that kind of thing is not good when you are watching a movie.

For a purists approach it is pretty good. But I think she needs a top hat to complete the figure. (I am assuming you have a top hat from the "Penguin" figure, from the torso it looks like you do have the "Penguin".)

Like others I watch Iron Man 2 this week end. I will repeat what I herd not enough of the suit and too much talking. That is my opinion of the movie. And I wonder the part where Pepper throws out the helmet from the back of the plane was/is an alternative seine. Is that the movie where Depp bangs a demon at the end of the movie?

It is usually in a day or two (or three). But some times I will open the box in the car to make sure every thing is complete.

I am going to disagree with you on that point. It seems like every action theme has some sort of back story to it. You must be thinking of the sets that come from the 80's or earlier, that do not have a back story. But I think it was mostly due to the fact that their was less ways to communicate with everyone. But hey, I will sign your petition.

I found this 7676 Republic Attack Gunship for $35 brand new (it was on clearance at a Wal-Mart). Imagine my surprise at the price, I do not remember that they were advertising at that price. (I went back to the same store a few weeks later. And they still had a couple sets left I could of got more if I wanted to.) And I got this 76212 Indiana Jones and the Lost Tomb for $5 brand new (at the local K-Mart). (From what I remember it was the last one too. Do not ask me if this was on clearance I did not see any thing that would suggest that it was.)

I went to the Fort Wayne Toys'R'Us and the only sets they had 25% off were 7571 "Fight for the Dagger", 7573 "Battle of Almut", and 7596 "Trash Compactor Escape" (I am not 100% sure if it was the right one for the "Toy Story" set as I was not to interested in it). Needless to say I was a little confused as I thought all the "Toy Story" and "Prince of Persia" sets were on sale.

It looks like they are all out of stock at the moment.

The last full movie that I watch was "Secrets of the Mountain" it was a made for TV movie (for NBC). I guess it is supposed to be some sort of backdoor pilot to a series, but I do not see how that would work or last very long, after watching the movie.

I got the 7571 "Fight for the Dagger" at Toys'R'Us today for 25% off, sale that is going on.

To who it conserned I might not be able to be to get online for some time. I am having issues at home consering the internet and other things & might not be able to get on this site as often as I would like to. I hope you are having better luck in life than I am at the this time. samuraiturtle
