I do not think there is a big chance for a AOH type of set, they need every brick for the main castle Hagrid's hut etc will be separate sets in future waves, I am not even sure they will include elements like the greenhouses.. I am not sure how accurate this map is, but it is noting near 1/3 in that at least: https://goo.gl/images/HyKqnb Hogwarts is also different in every film, the GH has only been in half of the earlier Lego Hogwarts as well. I think Lego will take parts of the castle from different movies that will fit nicely together and make a fantastic model, no way they can include everything even in a 500$ d2c

On that picture it looks like GH and the tower are almost half of the size of Hogwarts, that is only because the picture is taken from that angle.. Take a look at this map: https://goo.gl/images/HyKqnb The rest of the castle is 5-6 times bigger.. Where is it lacking in quality compared to Disney? The GH is only 100$, the Disney is 350$, but the d2c will be 500$.. I think people have to high expectations to what you get from a 500$ Lego set when it is a model of something as huge as Hogwarts! If we get a d2c in the same style as GH only 5 times bigger with the possibility to connect it to the GH, WW and other future sets, I for one would be very happy

I will not be surprised if we get 4 series of HP/FB the next years, one series before every new FB movie We will know more when we see pictures of the first one, if that mostly have figs from movie 1-2 then is rather safe to assume that more are coming in the future.. I am glad we get HP, but sad that there are so few normal series now -

Lego most likely has a new wave in the making as we speak, we could see them next year, but they may also release them with the next FB movie, every second year: 2 FB -1 wave year 1-2 HP 3 FB -2 wave year 3-4 HP 4 FB -3 wave year 5-6 HP 5 FB -4 wave year 7 (movie 7-8) HP It may very well be the cheapest way to get 5-6 thestrals, they are not going to be cheap on BL and I am unsure if they will be in any other sets anytime soon I do not know, but assume it did OK since they are making a new wave now, but I guess this wave will do much better The first MF did not sell very well I think, but the during the decade since its release it skyrocketed price-wise on the private marked, and when they made a new one 10 years later Lego can not make enough it seems I think HP is similar, there are a lot more adult Lego fans now then 8-10 years ago, the sets from the last waves are rather expensive, HP is the most asked for series not in production apparently, so I hope and think the sets will sell like crazy

No need to be confused There is coming a cmf named something like 71022 "Wizarding World" with 22 different figs, what the figs look like and if there is figs only from HP or both HP and FB is still in the blue

The worst scenario to me is if they do something close to batman cmfs with around half of the figs variants of the main characters in all kind of crazy outfits. One Harry from every year at Hogwarts, Dumbledore on vacation or similar stuff The best scenario would be as few of the characters that are in the sets as possible, the truth is probably something in between. Maybe 10-12 unique figs in the cmf and 10-12 variants of figs that are in the sets.. I do not remember, but I think most of the batman cmf had 1 second (a few maybe up to 10 seconds) of screen-time in the film, but they all where in the movie right?! If that is the case we won't get any complete useless figs at least

That tadpole do not count, was only added for the kids It has not anything to do with FB, but as you say it is the price.. The moulded animals cost more, so they can not make a lot of them to one set. Both HP and FB have moulded and brick built animals in the sets It is not about what I want, but you can be sure the trio would not be like normal figs in the cmf, they somehow needs to be different from the figs in the sets.. Lego has actually made a set with Harry/Ron as Goyle/Crabbe in the past so not so far fetched

Dumbledore, McGonagall and Hagrid are in the great hall so no worries there Snape is more or less confirmed by the designer of GH Madam Hooch are likely in the rumoured quidditch set Sprout, Flitwick, Trelawney, Filch and Madam Pomfrey will hopefully turn up as well, most likely in the cmf or d2c is my guess..

That is my impression also, the rest of us is only speculating or repeating info (myself included).. @Catanas and @Sir von Lego most likely know more than they have said so far, but they have a reason to hold back some of the info, then we must respect that and be happy for the info they have shared It will all be revealed sooner or later, in the meantime the rest of us can speculate I have just seen the two first HP movies to recap, it is a couple of years since I have seen them and a lot of details was forgotten.. First of all if Lego make a new chamber of secrets set in a future wave it is going to be a beauty! All from the sink, the entrance and the main chamber with a new moulded basilisk is going to be fantastic The cmf list was most likely a fake so anything can turn up there, I few candidates after seeing the 2 first movies again: -Hermione looking like a cat after drinking the Polyjuice Potion -Harry and Ron as Gregory Goyle and Vincent Crabbe -Percy Weasley he actually have quit a few scenes during the two first films -Moaning Myrtle -Madam Poppy Pomfrey

If it is with a wall piece that connects via the pinholes it probably has pinholes on both sides, so it is possible to place on both sides of the GH or have other sets connecting to it.. Regardless off if the d2c connects to the normal sets, I am sure future sets will connect to the GH and WW, so they need pinholes on both sides off the builds so people can move the castle pieces around as they like

That can't be right, the WW is probably poseble as well, a big three thrashing around the GH with a small car Maybe it is connected to the outside of the great hall by bricks? I can't find the press-release where they mentioned it, so unsure about the correct wording

It is not being a jerk, but a smart move to get people collecting every set in the line! That is nothing like the MF without a cockpit.. There have been 4 previous versions of Hogwarts, from what I can see on the pictures only half have a version of the great hall, they are still recognised as a Hogwarts castle. It is not like Lego have a huge Hogwarts with a GH that should cost 500$ (or whatever), then they remove the GH and sell that separately for 100$ and still sell rest of the castle for 500$ They are not ripping us off, the pieces they would have used for the GH in the d2c are put to good use elsewhere in the castle I think shrieking shack is a separate set down the line, but maybe the train station, Hog's Head Inn and zonko's in addition to the ones you name is possible It is only 50$ so even less likely

The rumours are sure going in that direction, and it is fine by mine if that is the case 4+3 sets, a huge d2c and 22 cmf that is not half bad for a first wave Personally I would be surprised if the d2c have the chamber of secrets since they put in a small brick built basilisk in GH. I see it more as a later add on like 4730 in 2002. 4709: Hogwarts Castle had 682 pieces and 4730: The Chamber of Secrets had 591 so almost as big as the main castle If it is included they better put in a moulded basilisk I agree as stated earlier, but more like 60% sure It they connect they go back to the roots:

I do not think is is very likely with that high price, 2-300$ should make a decent architecture Hogwarts. 500+$ seems more like minifigs and a detailed inventory Hogwarts is not only a castle with a nice silhouette, the people living there and all the fantastic inventory is more important to most fans. The Big Ben on the other hand is most known for the building itself then what it have on the inside.. It is possible, but I for one would be disappointed

Where does it say that the d2c must have that tower If they can ship the great hall they can easily ship a tower, plenty of towers to take from! If the sets connect the d2c will get the tower from the great hall set.. You may be right, but unless you know for a fact that the 2dc will have the tower your argument are close to Erasmus Montanus

The other set could also be a HP set (there has been some talk about a quidditch for 40$).. If the suitcase is 70, I guess it is very likely it will include Newt, Jacob, Tina and Queenie I also think there is a 7th limited set at least if one of the 6 sets have the number 75956, find it unlikely that Lego will skip set no. 75955 (I guess FB if it is only 2 FB sets among the 6 or maybe HP if there is 3 FB sets among the 6)

It can go both ways, I hope is only one great hall and that all the sets connect, but not sure.. Lets look at another angle to the mystery: the whomping willow! What is the point of having the WW set connect to the GH set? The WW is like Hagrid's Hut in many ways, it is located on the Hogwarts grounds, but it is not connected to the main castle so why go to the trouble of connecting it when it is fine as a solitary set?! Are more future sets connecting to it like the shrieking shack or is the point that they connect to the d2c? I am pretty sure the d2c wont have a WW in it, if it has a GH we will see.. If they all connect the d2c do not need a GH or a WW, but will get them both from the smaller sets, if that is the case I think it is a very bold and smart move from Lego
