    I assume it will look spectacular why else would a set like that be released Maybe some kind of coral-reef set up with amazing part collection. I have not much hope for animal moulds either, but that would explain the high price. It probably look odd with a great white shark in a small fish tank even if the scale is right.     A D2C aquarium is coming with 4154 parts for 500$ Sounds vary strange, but with that price it should include animal moulds right?!

    That is a great idea, now I can not unsee the statue when I look at the mould It comes in a minifig set; Strange that we have not got that already actually I know nothing about Wicked, but luckily the lion looks better there than in the original film, would be nightmare fuel to get a animal mould looking like that Here is a closer look: Probably a more boring reason; budget, they spent all the budget on the other figs so could not afford to bring that mould back from the dead

    Could be, but I do not follow friends animals closely so not the right person to answer that

    That is basically the default setting, normally each series gives us around 2 new animals (+-1) Difficult not to get ones hopes up when a series is leaked as "animals"

    The epaulets in tan in the wizzard of oz set (maybe the torso is could work for a pirate also)

    I saw it this morning, the sad eyes is not very useful outside wizard of Oz, however the mould do not seem too bad (looks a lot more like a lion than the character in the movie at least). It seem to be sitting, looks to be smaller then the normal lion right? There is also a flying monkey in one of the sets with minidolls, I assume that is a new monkey mould with removable wings. One of the sets has a lot of butterflies as well I count at least 7, but in colors we already have got I believe

    Definitely not, it was a seller that bought and sold a lot of Lego and he also had some rare and expensive stuff, so nothing good could have come from that . I hope I can ask Niels Milan Pedersen about it if I see him at SFW. Because then they must make a new mould probably and that cost a lot of money. Not sure why they made it in the softer material, maybe because they did not want kids to hurt themself on the sharp angles, even if they have made other birds with wings later

    It seemed like a normal parrot that has/had wings to me, but I compared it to the normal one now and got a small shock since it is narrower over the back like a flying bird would be since the wings are not "there" any more. It is definitely some sort of custom, but is it a Lego designer one or a civilian No, but there where no birds with wings at that time, maybe a misunderstood your question. Do you mean the material if so it seems to be grey plastic, then some other grey stuff on top of that and then painting. I has a Lego stamp at the same spot as the normal parrot..

    I have been Lego hunting in flea markets in Denmark for a few days, I found less then I expected. However I might have found something fantastic even if it do not look like much at first glance In a big box of minifigs, with accessories and a few animals I found this strange creature and bought it with some of the other parts from the box. The jury is still out, but I think it might be a early model of a flying parrot that was never made into a mould. It could be a custom part someone has made of course, but this close to the heart of Lego it's more than suspicious that something like this show up Unfortunately one of the wings have broken of and was missing What do you guys think is this something that flew out the window at Lego or a local Dr Frankenstein that tried to make the Lego parrot fly back in the day?

    Why? It's not very likely unless they make a non flying one. So Lego should stop making anything people want, because scalpers and resellers will buy them!?

    City names have leaked only one police set so that is nice. Airport for those wanting that, not very promising for animals, but a new tractor and coast guard

    City set names leaked, there is a tractor set and coast guard so could be animals there or maybe birdstrikes at the airport, but not something super promising like a hole farm wave .

    The ideas Italian Riviera seem only to have one kitten, maybe the new color that came this year in Tudor corner. Also some fish and a crab, the submission had more like a lobster and seagull at least maybe the kitten will show up in PAB then

    Even if this goes the worst way and all are costumes we should get a couple of new animals right 2 are a long way from 12+ off course, but better than nothing🙈

    I think and hope it's a normal series with animals, if it's a costumed one I have lost anyway and this would mean nothing Cat suit with black kitten Koala suit with koala Panda suit with juvenile panda Forest-woman with the new blue feather in the hat and roedeer Raven/crow bow-knight with raven Fisherman with rod and swordfish Statue fig with pigeons Scarecrow fig with crows Zookeeper with juvenile hippopotemus Native American with juvenile buffalo Mongolian warrior with a black foal Farmer kid with goat and juvenile goat

    Do the leak say that? What I have seen is that 2 animal costumed headgear have leaked previously and now they call the series "animal" that do not mean the series will be all animal costumes? Even if that is the worst scenario, the best would be a normal series that are animal themed where every fig has a animal accessory. Or something in between is also possible where we get normal figs with animals and costumed figs dresses as animals, but without any animal accessory

    Both where useless to me at least What we expect for any series is around 2 animals (+-1) so if a animal themed series has only 1 that would be a huge let down, even if it's only costumed characters If your bar is that low I am sure you will be happy regardless of what we get That is possible, but even if the costumed characters do not have any animal moulds something like that should lead to a lot more animals than normal, right? What other way could a figure be animal themed than be a costumed animal or a normal fig with a animal accessory (there is probably a obvious answer to this that I have not thought about)

    That is the worst outcome, if we are lucky it's a normal series where every fig has at least one animal mould if so that sounds like the best CMF ever to me, time will show

    CMF series 28 apparently are called "animals" according to leaks. I fear it mean a lot of costumed figs, but if we are lucky we have reached the promised land of animal moulds in CMF
