deGothia, I've been around for a long time in the community, from LUGnet to Brickshelf, to Classic Castle, and now Eurobricks. I must say you have definitely made a place for yourself in the ranks of the Master Builders, like Anthony Sava, Daniel Siskind, Derfel Cadarn, ZCerberus; the list goes on and on. You capture a sense of life and movement that is really just damn pleasing to look at. Thank you for continuing to inspire, delight, and continually outdo the community, not just our fine Guild. And, I must agree with Z, the latest shot is a much better interpretation of the scene: we can see more of the life you spent so much time building into this MOC.

Great MOC, man! I was also going to try to plant an Avalonian flag in Mitgardia, but sadly I waited too long to get inspired, and didn't have enough parts/BL'ing time to get it done by the deadline. Glad to see you and Derfel have represented our proud guild well in the distinguished, yet treacherous lands of the North!

Of course, I second everything that has been said about this stunning MOC! More originally, though, I'd like to ask: Is this perhaps a glimpse into the standard/building style of Circadia? Or is this more a family coat of arms, and individual architectural preferences?

I would hope that the suggestion of the absence of a corner building means a really awesome one will be next in the line. I'm somewhat satisfied with how this finally turned out, after being really excited for it. Until I see interior shots, I might just invest the money I'd spend on this and pick up a Fire Brigade before it disappears forever.

I also, would like to see a list of just who made the cut (and for what,)if only for further feedback and to know which way to steer this round. But, I understand if they want to keep it between the Guild Leaders. I'm definitely pleased with the top ranking for our guild, however. Great job, Z! Just saying I'd like to see people like DeGothia and MikeyB get a little recognition for putting forth truly great builds for Avalonia!

(Pardon my lateness, I've been away for the Holidays, but plenty of new stuff to look at now!) Finally seeing this project completed, I must say it's a rather imposing build. Your insane level of attention to detail is mind-boggling! Another spectacular, inspiring creation! I must ask, though (and perhaps you've covered this in the guide but I missed it...) how did you develop your building style? I, for one, have been playing with LEGO since I was 5, and like us all my style was very weak until about age 15 or 16. It took trolling around on Lugnet and Brickshelf, noticing other people's creations and looking into their techniques, and then assimilating and developing them with my style/expertise level. I'm still learning, but feel like I've hit a plateu recently. Now that the Holidays are almost over I have a little free time to play around and experiment with things, which I'm really looking forward to. So, I guess my question is: How do I get to be as good as you, ZCerberus, or deGothia?
