I hadn't actually thought of that, really, but seeing how there wasn't any crab warrior minifigure in the first wave of sets (if there was one, it'd probably be in the crab set), I doubt there'd be one. Still, there is a possibility. Oh, and what Atlantis movie? Was it on television or something? I don't have pay tv, so I don't watch much but the news.

I think it's about taste, really. Personally, I liked Bionicle story-line wise in comparison to what we know so far in Hero Factory. On the other hand, seeing how it doesn't have story restraints (i.e. the sets have to correspond with the story), this means we can see more things such as elements and weapons that we normally wouldn't get. On the other hand, there is that horrible weapon-arm in some of the sets, which could be a good thing, but I imagine it's mostly bad because of poseability issues.

They do seem to be, but using logic, they're probably connected to something at the bottom, or he won't stand up properly.

Wow, that's pretty good, even though I prefer Clone Troopers over droids. =P

I just noticed something. The tower in the video reminds me a lot of the hospital from an episode of Doctor Who called New Earth, but the structure's a bit more curvy. Hopefully this line will last longer than most lines do. Because there are now more opportunities to have new elements, this means we'll see a lot more interesting parts.

I need to watch the movies again! =P. Thanks for clearing that up.

It's never happened to me before. Either way, I think it's just a processing error.

That makes sense, but there does seem to be the old version of a Clone Pilot in the set. Of course, as it's a prelim, it might be changed, but I hope it isn't. Just curious though, do those types of Clone Pilots actually appear in the movies? I don't recall seeing them...

I'd love to see Mandalorians, but I doubt they're going to be released in a set (not counting Boba Fett). Personally, I think that just because Lego makes a new mould, it doesn't necessarily mean they'll reuse it, in this case, for Mandalorians. Of course, if there is a specific event relating to them happening soon (some people mentioned the Clone Wars series, which I don't really follow), Lego might pick up on the idea.

Well, seeing how they're not two pieces joined, and are instead one piece, I'd say it's most likely more promotional work, like in Bionicle's earlier years. It's most likely going to come out as an L shape, in my opinion.
-
Personally, I didn't get any of those sets, but it would be interesting if they returned. (By that, I mean I missed out on buying the sets at the time).
-
Oh, okay. I haven't seen those pieces before, so I was a bit confused.
-
Yes, that was what I meant. I don't actually think the sets are going to go any further than Atlantis (assuming there's an Atlantis set). It would be interesting if they did continue, though. It could mean we'll get to see more types of creatures. A while back in this topic, I mentioned the possibility that the Deep Sea Striker set could have a new ring. If you look closely at the image, it appears to have a sea scorpion on it. It might be a preliminary image (of the ring) though, as there's already a green ring, and there probably aren't going to be any more rings.

Interesting miniatures. In the White House miniature, are the black windows stickers?
-
I haven't actually got one of the old skeletons, but I think I prefer them to the current ones. I hope that they are released in future sets though, because I'm curious to see what they're like.
-
In the Palpatine's Shuttle set, is the Clone Pilot like the new ones (open-faced helmet) or the older design? I think it may be a new version of the old Clone Pilot from the image, but personally, I hope it is, because I don't like the new Clone Pilots.

Does anyone know when the Raid VPR and Smash and Grab sets are released in Australia? They're not in my catalogue for some reason.
-
Now that I know the story, it's pretty much what I had in mind after seeing the name and sets. While it might be good for some, maybe the similarity between Hero Factory and Bionicle will put off some people. Seeing how they're "built", I get a feeling there will probably be alternate or combiner models.

Never really been a Harry Potter fan, but looks really well done.

Well, I guess any oversized creature would be menacing. A nautilus wouldn't be bad. Speaking of which, we haven't had an oversized manta ray yet. Seeing how there are sharks with shark warriors, and squid with squid warriors, there's a possibility of one. I thought of an interesting idea for a set. In the Aqua Raiders line, there was an angler fish. I'm thinking maybe there could be a similar set, but instead of a lure, it holds a ring.
-
Wow, that's great. I probably can never get around to making things like this, first because of time, and second because I don't have that many bricks. =P

Well, if it's a TRU exclusive here in Australia, I probably won't get around to buying it. $60 seems like an okay price to me, even though it's obviously overpriced. Then again, the TIE Defender was $90, so it's not that inflated. To be honest, I'd rather have the Clone Trooper than Barriss, because I've currently only got four Episode 3 Clones.

Oh no, my internet's gone horribly sluggish and it'll stay that way for the rest of this month. I was lucky enough to get this page to load. Firstly, I'm quite happy at the addition of a new type of creature. That probably seals off my thoughts about the Portal of Atlantis. I'm glad I haven't bought any Atlantis sets yet (I can't find them anyway =P). Does anyone know if there's a manta warrior in the Portal of Atlantis set? I haven't seen an image of it for ages, but from memory it includes a shark warrior and squid warrior. Personally, the set is a cheap (well, cheaper) way of getting all rings, and most minifigs. I hope I can find the manta impulse though... recently impulses have been slipping out of stores, and I can only find City impulses. Oh, and I don't actually think that's a new ring at all. The absence of a creature's shadow on it probably means it's just some promotional image, like the image on the back of my Lego Club magazine.

Well, it's not Bionicle, but it'd do. Since the start of Bionicle, I've been collecting the sets, and I'll probably just regard these as a sub-theme of Bionicle. The new parts and masks are quite interesting, and I'm glad that they're still going to be using the same general design, so these should be able to fit in. Some of the weapons are strange, though. Another thing that's good about Hero Factory is the new elements. There were only a few main elements seen in sets in Bionicle, but in Hero Factory, we're introduced to electricity, and so on.

I noticed something interesting story-wise... If you go to the Power Miners site, and go to the bios of the monsters, there's an interesting bit of information underneath Crystal King: That's means there might be multiple Crystal Kings for different types for each rock monster type! In the trailer for the new Lego movie, there's what appears to be an orange version of a Crystal King. So, maybe Forresto is right. Maybe the rock monsters are currently young versions of Crystal Kings, or something like that. Something that would really help clear up these theories is if we know whether "Crystal King" is a name, or a title. Here, I'm assuming it's a name, as the bios imply.
