Admiral Starwind

Yeah the number of cannons poses several logistical problems. It's possible my next ship that im thinking of is going to be very od but small as to how it is odd i cannot tell you yet but you will see.

you are gonna find it hard to trade an SES for a BSB because the SES is superior to the BSB, the SES can unload a ful 4 shot broadsie and while the BSB has 4 cannons she has 2 a side. The SES was more thought out when they designed her and included the mizzen mast which the BSB did not. PLus the way the sails were rigged with the rope minus tying it to a sail was far superior on the SES than the BSB where it tied to a flag that always falls off when you sneeze.

That is by far the best MOC i have ever seen i love how he made the cannon ports too and i love the scale he did it in too it was more to realistic scale the lego scale which i liked alot.

Ah thats what i do i thrwo things off Actually in all actuallity the Starwind is more likely than anything but the Andromeda is a rareity even in the real world there's only one 5 masted tall ship.

As long as you like your ships looking like swis cheese cause i got the hul moc'd up beside the SES and BSB and it could take on both ships without even using its second deck of guns should be interesting.

The hull has finally arrived and the masts mateys i would show some pics but the camera is in a boz somewhere soon i will have the dry dock built to show ya and then it will be time to restore some order to the high seas.

I have yet to build or post mine but id pick it for scope of the project. And cause im biased BUT having sad that Ghoulrealm is my favourite MOC'er hands down he's not afriad to do the unconventional and i like him for that.

this topic can be deleted after someone responds and i read it but i do not have a bowsprit and i was wondering if someone that did coiuld tell me if you could attach the top mast piece end to end with it as opposed to side to side? and if so coudl the moc it take pic so i can see. i just dont want to buy a piece i dont need.

well i was trying for the tribarrel but without actually having lego to build with i have to use modified designs (as i have previously said my mother lost all my lego) so the tri barrel didnt fit in the gun port but no the modified cannon was to accomodate room and size so the cradle is custom as is the cannon itself.

As would mine fellow canadian...oh yeah the pics of the design schematics of the Andromeda are almsot done shes been upgraded from 78 cannons to an even 80 by adding two custom forward firing cannons inspired by the flying dutchman

Well i would want an admiral in blue coat or red coat preferabbly blue and in the back ground a tall ship ie. ship of three or more masts with three or more sails. If thats possible.

amen had he shipped to North America i would have bought up the lot of em oh well.

well as much as i the big ship lover the most on this board i think im the biggest fan of big ships that is, i'm afraid i'm gonna have to cast a NAY on this ship and here is why, well the detail mabe FRICIN AWESOME, the overall design of the ship is lacking it's too tal to only have one main mast and one mizzen mast that thinks it's a main mast. But thats just my honest opinion.
