  1. how hard is it to use the internet? there are alot of stupid people in the world mr Phes
  2. uh hu alright well perhaps thats an issue but perhaps some people arent as technologically gifted as others is all i'm saying.
  3. Wo calm down Mr Phes yikes, anyways no i don't Mr Tiber.
  4. absolutely not hahahhahahaha no im just kidding it's just shes not totally done or at any cetain step so i'll eamil it to you rather than post it here as i'm not sure any of what i've got so far is gonna stick.
  5. As i'm working on her right now and am building up the levels and the stern....bow is causing me grief but ill figure something out....anyways her current length is 107 studs
  6. Yup I am still accepting other projects Monkey, cause honestly I hate working on the same one straight cause at the end i hate the ship so if i have two or three to switch back and forth between it really helps. Mmmmhh slopes, I never thought about that, BTW in case your interested, here are my last headrails on the Unpredictable Yeah i'm still not quite sure how you did that with the head rails, but thank you Mt tiber you just gave me a EUREKA cause i had thought of another way to do the head rails and then forgot last night when you guys wanted to see what they would look like but the head rails on the Rose are actually going to implement HINGES dun dun dun. Tune in for more in the MOC thread as i roll around to that step.
  7. Well here are the first two steps so far on this ship, this way you can see progress i suppose. Step 1 Step 2
  8. Well here are the fabled head rails of the HMS Rose i havent actually got to the construction of the ship still in the planning stages but i hammered these out for ya guys not quite sure im happy with how it looks but we'll see. This is of course only the top rail on the starboard bow there will be the connecting bars to the lower rail and all the way down to keep etc yadda yadda
  9. well like i said scale size or minifig if you give me a ship that has 22 guns down its side and you want it to be minifig scale then be prepared for it to be large. With it being model scale i have some tricks to scale it down. Very well Mr Tiber I accept and shall set about designing her now the head rails do pose a challege but i never step away from a challenege. Edit After further considerration the headrail shall in fact be easier than i anticipated.
  10. Congratulations Mr Tiber! That is much easier size to work with, but you probably could get away with making it slightly bigger - if you wanted to. Yes, what is .cpt? I've never heard of it and I've heard of a lot of file formats. as am I this one cuaght me by surprise.
  11. If you only have one angle the requestor may have to accept that the detail may not be there but best thing to do is let me see the photo and i'll ne able to tell whether or not it can be done. Alot of times i work off one photo and just use suplementary photo's for detail work. I have edited the main post stating such. I also wonder if perhaps this thread belongs in the MOC forum?
  12. Either really actual photogrpahs are better but i can work with whatever. Ill go fetch my arqeubus(sp)
  13. Both so shoot.
  14. Um the signature one is in .cpt form what is that?
  15. Edited on 09/14/2006 Well after the response i got from the St Lawrence and the Pallada I gave it some thought and here it is MOC REQUEST THREAD If you want to have a ship made custom by me here is what i will need and what you will get. What i need: 1) A picture of the craft in question givin various angles (more than one picture is required if you would like more detail, pictures can consist of photo's, hand drawing, paintings, or sketches) 2) specify whether or not you want a brick built hull(will require more pieces) or a lego pre fab hull 3) specify whether or not you want Minifig scale(will be bigger) or model scale(much like the St Lawrence with her scaled down guns. 4) Specify if you want me to follow the same color scheme in the pictures or not and if the ship is gunless then specify where you want gun ports(see threa on Pallada in MOCS) 5) PM me your e-mail address so i may send the zip file to you once it is completed. What you'll get: 1) Your own thread dedicated to the progress of the ship design 2) Input on how the ship turns out as i go along 3) A zip file containing images that illustrate the step required to recreate said masterpiece(also known as an instruction booklet. 4) Parts list including parts numbers and quantities 5) Demensions of the vessel 6) MLCAD file in case you wish to explore your model further Now due to the complexity of some MOC's please allow 2 - 4 weeks for delivery.
  16. My issue is the stern castle is too high as well as she need a mizzen mast.
  17. Well i guess i could do that one. Maybe i should start a request thread for crations.
  18. sorry im lost what is my attention requiring? Off course! do you mean this one? yup Could you give me another image of it? this one is not the desired signature shape, and BTW this thread needs some of your attention *pirate* Yeah thats the problem there is only two pics of the St. Larwence which is the Painting one and the model picture.
  19. The name of that ship is the Royal Clipper as far as I remember shes British but she's a Cruise ship only one of her kind with 5 masts and again i plan to converts her into a war ship.
  20. Said Pallada the Meteoro (that is the Arrogant one) lived between the end of IV the century and the beginning of V the century to Alexandria of Egypt. It is known also with the name of Pallada of Alexandria. He was grammarian (master of school) and epigrammista of pagana faith. Of he they have reached approximately 150 epigrammi conserved from the Anthology Tippet. This was in Italian which i translated but the ship is Russian so i'm not sure if this is correct. This is the inspiration for my next creation.
  21. Well due to the fact that I didn't have 3 decks to contend with this ship took me alot less time as well as I opted for no gun ports and just to have the guns always ran out. Anyways here is the ship in dock with the sails unfurled. And my version now I do realize that mine is rather sparse but I can't do details like long boats or things like that in MLCAD. Edit Can't believe i almost forgot the stern seeing as i redesigned it.
  22. Check out this link i tried some cut and pasting goodness but it was exhausting. so look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sail-plan
  23. Nope the St Lawrence has no sterncastle most ships of the line didn't have stern castles. Much like the HMS Victory in my sig she features no stern castle. The HMS Victory will also be a target of one of my next MOC's
  24. What do you mean it doesnt look done?
  25. 1024x768 is my resolution yes i used to operate at 1290x960 but then my moniotr went BOOM
