  1. I highly recommend you check out GIMP. It's not quite as nice as PhotoShop, but it certainly gets the job done. Also, if you need a little editing done on some images I might be able to help some. I'm no pro, but I know my way around GIMP pretty well so I might be of some use. ^.^
  2. Square Lego cleavage, I think that's a first. Very nice models! You captured a lot of detail in a pretty small scale. 10/10 for a wonderful and humorous presentation.
  3. Yes. There are only three parts that I could count off the top of my head that are specific to the original Bionicle sets. There might be a few more that I missed, but the point is there are very few. Not even enough to start to assemble anything that even resembles a classic model. :(
  4. All of the original Bionicle pieces would be lovely. Being my favorite series produced by Lego, I was disappointed to find that only three of the original pieces were included. I build so many of those things as a kid I have the instructions memorized. >.>
  5. Not a problem. I wish there was a PAB near me...
  6. Very top right corner under the X is a button that will generate the building guide. You will have to export the instructions (button in the top right corner of instruction viewing screen) after generating them. It won't actually show you the list in the editor.

Right now I program in GML, which is a language used for GameMaker: Studio and a little bit of Java (for Minecraft plugins [another hobby of mine used to be running servers]). I've also dabbled with Unity3D quite a bit too, but I'm not quite ready to take the time to learn it yet. I don't really have anything to show for my work though, I have a lot of unfinished projects. Yes, Periphery is incredible. I wish I could get tickets for their tour. I recently bought one of their exclusive skateboard decks (only 91 made), so I'm broke. ^.^'

I do a bit of everything, but I'm not too great at any one task. Jack of all trades, master of none. I do a bit of programming, drawing, painting, small digital art (sprites), music (guitar, FLStudio, learning piano) and... I think that's about it.
  9. I tried myself and I couldn't find any way to make the connection. Unfortunately LDD will remove any illegal connections anyway, without some kind of modification. You can simply reverse the cone, or use one of the small cylinders and run the flex rod through that. It won't be nearly as strong, but it should work. Your mech looks pretty cool. I also like the one in you avatar. It reminds me of a Dibison.
  10. Heh, I always backup my data. As a programmer, this isn't the first time I've had terrible problems like this. But, I'm not OCD to the point of making a backup every 5 minutes. Even making backups at a 'healthy' rate is never enough you know. Accidents are bound to happen. Anyway, thanks for the information and the lesson on how the files work! I figured it was an archive and the bone data was hidden somewhere, but I didn't know about these tools. I owe you one. ;) EDIT: Hmmm... I can't seem to open the file with that program. It opens fine with 7zip, but won't allow me to do anything to the files. :( Oh, scratch that, it's opening now. My bad. Yup, you're now my favorite person on Earth. :D
  11. The file I linked was the corrupted file. Uploading the outdated backup wouldn't really help, would it?
  12. Now You See Me. It was pretty good. A little boring, but worth seeing. Most of the 'big twists' weren't really that surprising, the moving overall was just too easy to figure out. There was one big twist near the end that I never saw coming though.
  13. While working on a model my power went out. I had saved the model roughly 5 minutes before the power failure. After letting the weather clear I restarted my computer and launched LDD, but when I tried to load my model I was informed that there was an error and the file could not be loaded. I restarted LDD hoping it was just a temporary bug, but I got the same message again. I've been working on this model for about a week, so I'm quite frustrated. The last backup I have was from 2 days ago, and I have made a lot of changes since then. I'm fine with having to rebuild, I'm pretty sure I can make it almost the same, but I would like to fix the file if possible. Download (106KB) I'm no expert, but I assume the power failed before the file was closed in the program causing data to be incorrectly written, or something like that. I've also tried loading the model in LeoCAD, but it failed too.
