Captain Becker replied to Henchmen4Hire's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Cant remember anymore wich set, but its from Castle Kindoms theme, probably came from Kings Castle or then from Advent Calender. Captain Becker -
They look great, but i think you should try white or even blue arms instead or red ones, but the red ones dosent look so bad either,. Great job whit them Commodore Captain Becker

LEGO parts made of Chinese plastic?
Captain Becker replied to Henchmen4Hire's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I regonize Chinese Lego parts at the colour isnt same, usually its darker. And if you are good at it, you can even feel the difference between them (Wich i cant do yet). I afrid at i have one small chese slope from China, the clour is way more darker at its more like dark red or brown instead or red, and i think at the surface looks slighty different if i look it against the light. Not sure if it also feel different. Captain Becker -
Looking for a specific Roman MOC
Captain Becker replied to KillaGorilla's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Ah, i finally founded it. Some months ago, EB member kaitain presented breath taking MOC here on EB, and it was also Frontpaged. Heres a link to his thread. Click Here. Captain Becker EDIT: Oh´, i see at oo7 beated me to it -
I think you accidently double clicked the "Send" button. Anyways, i do like the chest, but the bayonet is ridiculos IMO. It is just heavily oversized and it start from the middle of the musket. But it surely looks scary. Captain Becker EDIT: Noticed a small typing error

INDEX: Historic Ships, Replicas, Figureheads and Models
Captain Becker replied to BrickPerfection's topic in LEGO Pirates
Brilliant idea! Too bad at we dont have any captain`s cabin shots on some of the indexe`s yet. I was amazed when i taked a look of HMS Victorys index, and saw all those pics. Do you think at this picture could added on the index also?. I hope at i can visit her at next summer. Also there was lots of useful pictures about the other ships too. Captain Becker -
Me want, me want! Im not into trains much, but if possible, i try to pick up this set. Great review once again Kim, and i agree at Maersk sets have improved since the first set came out. I think ill try to power this set if possible. Captain Becker

Its looking good so far. I think at the sides of the ship wont fit together whit the bow though, take a look at Joey Lock`s HMS Unicorn if there would be some help. And also look Blackmoors Alceste if you want to get some ispiratio for how to make the sides correctly. Its coming along quite nicely, even at there could be some curve. Keep it up. Captain Becker

I dont know if this has been discussed yet, but if so mods can lock this topic. I was in flickr watching some custom minifigues when my eyes saw this MOC. I was almoust to drop off my chair when i clicked the picture and saw this masterpiece. It has 50-60 thousand pieces. Words cannot explain how awesome this MOC is, so go and check out yourself. Project Untara: The Gates of Untara
Captain Becker replied to LordKain's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I love it The colour scheme is great and theres alot of details. Love the usage of plants and the landscaping ois also nice. Great work so far whit this, it looks very realistic. Keep it up Captain Becker -
Nice ship, but its a way too long and looks a bit silly when it has seven masts and big oversized cabin at the back. So if possible, take some masts away and make her two decker ship instead of one long. And then i think you could work on the cabin a little bit more, it dosent look quite good IMO. So try to change these things and you should be good. Keep it up. Captain Becker

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Captain Becker replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
Its in page 98. As you see, they are a bit over prized. Can any one put these prizes on to the first post so at it would be for all of us easier to check over there? I have asked this already many times. Captain Becker -
Check out Brickself, Classic Castle building tips, Flickr and´offical Lego sets wich has threes, Like MMV for example. Or then you can always go to Legos Website->Products->Creator and then watch some treebuilding and decoration thing there. Also Check the Town and other forums MOC indexes if there would be any good ideas. Captain Becker

How many times you will have to say that LT? that was 4th time already And yes, we are geting 5 gold coins in the set, but also note at there is alot of great parts included and new parts, so its not pity at all IMO. Captain Becker EDIT: You are maby right LegoIndy at it mightn not the 100% ready product, but i highly doupt at TLC will change the pearl gold bars into chrome golden ones. They have been fooling whit the box pictures earlier, at the set would look more cooler. We will see when someone here in Eurobricks makes the Review or you will buy the set. -
City WIP: Sidewalks
Captain Becker replied to alienwar9's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
They are all great. I think you could use many of them in you LDD MOC, just puting the older ones somewhere in the parks and some more modren ones somewhere else. I dont vote, but i specially dont like 1. Captain Becker -
D2C Contest: 10234 Ignacia Village
Captain Becker replied to quy's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Agree whit Brickdoctor, this is the set wich TLC would do for real. Even a that prize looks horrible in my eyes I hate to spend over 100 euros for a Lego set, but this is wich i actually might think getting it. Great work Captain Becker -

Is It worth just buying a modular building ?
Captain Becker replied to LEGO AFOL's topic in LEGO Town
Big sets like Modulars are expensive, but there are alot of useful pieces, i havent get any yet and probably wont. I dont have any space where to put my sets anymore. Modulars are great for pieces, and you get alot of them, but make sure at you have some space where to put it if you want to display the set. So yes, i think for City and big set fans its worth it. Captain Becker -
It depens quite alot what you want to build, do you want to build a village raiding scene pirate port, jail scene. it also depens where the scene is located, is it in the middle of the sea or in the middle of the London or is it just somewhere in land in one of Carribean islands etc etc. Of course theres alot of classic Pirate sets wich are really worth to get, but they are very expensive and lots of sets arent 100% complete anymore. There is also new IFS wich is also very good to get, but its again expensive one like MMV. But for me MMV is a good set whit alots of parts, so it might ome handy when you build some Pirate or Castle MOC`s. I didnt get the set because of its prize, and i didnt even saw it in my local shops. Im currently saving on upcomin POTC, so if you want to get it, then go ahead. Captain Becker EDIT: One single spelling error

Captain Becker replied to maydayartist's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
