Nice review Whitefang! I agree at the gold bars are little disappointing, but atleast we get 8 or was it 10 gold coins in this set, plus some very nice new parts. So i actually dont mind if the gold bars arent Chromed like the coins are. I am getting this set if its on the shelfes tomorrow on my local shops, havent looked them yet so waiting forward to that. great review and i would give this set overall 7/10 or 8/10, it depens a bit. Great MOC! The small tower looks very well done and the tree is also well done. One question only, why the Cardinal's guards hats are on fire? Good work whit this. Captain Becker

Intresting news. My computer has broken down currently so i cant install the 4.1 version right now (Im on my schools computer before the class starts). Its great at there are those new bow pieces, and some other parts might come handy as well. Looking forward to test it when i get my computer back. Captain Becker -
great looking MOC Coorioso Now the water part looks mch more better than the previos one. But on to the MOC itself, the rock work is really great and the small cave whit the treasure and the dead poor spanish men gives it a nice touch, i also like the little tower/Forth pver there. Did you build the interior over there? EDIT: Oh yes you did build the interior. Captain Becker

Lovely vessel, the mast are looking great, and the colours are very nicely chosen. I also like the brickbuild hull over there. Only things wich i would change is to fill those two big holes at the back of the ship, IMO it looks a bit weird. Also there are a bit too much gunports, and the cannons looks a bit small. If possible, use normal Lego cannons whit out the wheels. And may i ask you what rope you used on the anchor rope? Looks very good IMO and realitic. Great work whit this beaty Captain Becker

Beatiful looking ship, i really like the colours what you use over there, and the rest of it is just fantastic. Planning to do an interior over there? Keep it up. Captain Becker

Looks a bit weird, but i know at paint roller is very hard to make from Legos. Great job whit the paint roller, i would only change 1x1 round blue brick into yellow or white one. Great job whit this Captain Becker

W.I.P. Light Frigate (still without a name)
Captain Becker replied to Matteo1130's topic in Pirate MOCs
Again theres some great pictures in the indexes, and for the headrails there isnt actually anything new technique wich you could use. ZCerberus tryed to make them 1x1 pearl golden bricks, but the problem is the lack of flexibility. I would go whit the good old tecnniques. Captain Becker -
Even at im one of those who uses LDD (Usually making Lego sets now days), i dont like LDD MOC`s either very much, but i understand peapole who have been forced to use it. Im one of those who havent many bricks for making large MOC`s, but i have made some smaller ones and hope at i can present them in the summer when i can take better pictures. And i really hope at the others who have large amount of bricks, wouldnt be so rude to LDD MOC`ers, because we all have one thing wich keeps us together. The passion of Lego! Captain Becker

Captain Becker replied to Matteo1130's topic in Pirate MOCs
There are so many posibillitys to make it. Take a look Perfectionist ship for example, and also CGH`s tecnique is also very good way to make the bow. If you mean what decorations you should put on the bow also than the headrails, its pretty much up to you. You can put small toilets over there if possilble. But take a look at historical ship index made by Perfectionist if it helps a bit, also the ship index is also helpful sometimes. Im waiting for more pictures. Captain Becker -
Looks much better now, the stern is more realistic by now, but some gold decorations wouldnt be bad either. I like the fact at the steering wheel is also working now, but if possble, you could move it more forwards, because most of the ships on 1700 century the wheel was located under the poopdeck in 2 or 3 decker sips (HMS Victory for example). And to get back to the stern, there could easily be one more window yet if you take those 1x1 round bricks away and 1x2 bricks also, when you have done that, you could also make the center windows one plate higher to give the windows some curve. Leave the last windows as they are now, second windows 1 plate higher, and the cebnter one 2 plates high. I dont sa anything at you dont get too much work at the same time. Keep it up, looking very promising at the moment. Captain Becker

True I like the desing of the small pearl, but i seriosly wont gonna buy such a small set in 100€! Wooden jack is also very nice looking, so its such a shame at polybags wont appear here in Finland. Or do they? I havent seen any, maby polybags only comes in big citys stores. Captain Becker -
I knew it all the time at this was a april fool. Nice to have you "Back" guys And yes, the pink is burning my eyes.... Captain Becker

Nice idea, i think you should take the sloops stern away, i think it just looks foolish over there. Im using that Fabuland boat (wich i got from Pirates 4+ Captain Kraggs set) as a sloop as well. Havent choosen what of the 4 sides it will be. Nice job whit these boats. Captain Becker
