Nocturnus Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion

I'll do a watch tower bordering Mitgardia, where lava meets snow. Just wondering if there's a list of guild members for each guild. Are people allowed to join later? I know that our guild is quite outnumbered, but I'd like to know how outnumbered we are. p.s. I don't mind to be the minority, it just means more enemy corpse to loot -
Water is certainly good for transition. But I would like to see some more blood. Like blood dripping down the spikes and dying part of the river red I'm evil, am I?

Graduate: Life of a graduate student... This is exactly how I feel now about my professor... When I got my thesis project to work 2 months ago, I thought that I'm done. So I went to toys r us and got a handful of the graduate minifig to celebrate. But 2 weeks later, my adviser told me that I need to do one more project to graduate... with graduate minifig -

I'll be a fire demon, a keeper of a sulfur mine. Wherever the demon goes, he leave a trail of lava behind. And my servants: imp ninjas that carries my ginormous fire lance, and demon geisha that brings me "pleasure"... A small background that I quickly throw together. Black is kinda hard to take picture of... -

Eastern Darkland for lisqr -
Very interesting entry. Just the other day, my American and Irish friends were arguing whether Europe or US is better, based on all sorts of stats. And according to google public data, US has Europe beaten by a large margin in terms of teen pregnancy rate, and beating Britain by a handsome margin too. So cheer up, maybe? As for the entry, I like all the paper very much.

I added a few workers. Most of the worker minifigs from city themes are too bright for this moc. These silver figs fit my moc the best. But too bad I only have a few of these.

Thanks for all the feedback. I didn't put in any minifigs because I don't have any batman minifigs. I was thinking of putting in some other random minifigs, but I was afraid that I'll put in inappropriate figs and step on some diehard fan's toe, like I did with a Harry Potter moc. I'll try to put in some minifigs and see how it looks.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm done with onix, just need some more pieces to finish an extra section of the long body. After building the Rise of the Sphinx set, it gave me inspiration to build houndoom. I finished the head and going to tackle the body over the weekend. I'm in the process of collecting pink pieces. Maybe I can pull off a jigglypuff with "friends" theme coming next year.

I think it all depends on what you are building. I think buildings and castles can look great without SNOT technique. But if you are building animal or vehicles (cars, spacecraft...) without SNOT, intricate shapes are hard to pull off. Also lettering and small pictures almost requires SNOT.

"Gotta build 'em all" That's a great title. I'll use it in the future. I've finished a Magnemite. I'm almost done with Onix. Trying to figure out what to build next. Too many pink and purple pokemons. Building them will be quite costly.

Starting a grand project making a series of Pokemons. Let's see how far I go. The first one is Blastoise.

Collectable Minifigures: Feeling the Packets

I've seen someone buying all TRU stock, taking them home, spend the time fingering and return the unwanted like 5 boxes. I think that's a bit too far. (Although he inspired me to do the same, except I only bought 25 and got 15 unique ones and returned the rest. ) I've also seen someone grabbing all elves in a store for the intention of selling them on bricklink. I think that's a bit too far as well. -

Since everyone else is making a separate topic for their contest entry, I'll make one too. Lighting in my room is really bad. So please bear with my pics. Nice to meet you. I'm glad that you liked it. The show was quite successful. I had a lot of kids saying that they want my castle for Xmas.

The new racer sets use a lot of Cars parts. I might pick it up for parts. Also the minifig looks kinda like world racer minifigs, at least color-wise.

I'll be there with my castle

The build process updated. Last time our brave explorer stepped into a mysterious portal, and when he gets out he saw... A sleeping castle shredded in more mystery. The lifeless castle is covered with magical blue flowers. front gate The main tower Bridge leading to the side tower 3 spirals gazebo tomb of fallen kings riverbank aerial view The sleeping castle Hopefully you enjoy this as much as the explorer brickshelf I started this moc when I got a PaB box of 1x2 dark bley log brick. It turns out that there are >2400 of it in the box. But for a moc of this scale I quickly used up all of it. The main castle is built with a technic frame and snot sidewalls. The technic frame is sturdy and light too. It's my first time building something this size, so I learned a lot about structure strength.

To me it seems like that the lime green side is a snake camouflage. You know ninja and camouflage...
