I'm not sure if it's allowed to do a moc of the other guilds. But I did a version of the Mystic Isles before Nocturnus setup the embassy. Here's how we took over this shrine... Once upon a time, a young and righteous Druid guarded the misty shrine and kept it away from the dark forces. One day he saw a beautiful mermaid who's lost in the mist. The poor thing looks pale and weak. The druid instantly fell in love with her and let her in. He was utterly infatuated by her and forgot his duty. Little did he know that the mermaid was a puppet controlled by Ambassador Tentaclelith. Soon Tentaclelith took over the place and setup our embassy in Avalonia.

I just looked at the 2nd round of entries. Our guild is the only guild with more 2nd round entries than the first round, 12-13. Yay! Whereas all other guilds' submission decreased. Avlonia went from gazillion to 15.

I'm ready for some fire.

I'm for Caveman vs. prehistoric mammals. We already got 2 caveman/woman. Now just new saber-tooth tigher, etc. like the dinos.

This is probably one of the biggest non-baseplate pieces. I judge a piece's size by how much space it takes in my storage space.

Now after seeing those "fighters" I'm wondering who's the bad guy...

The trees are sand blue. I used 400 sand blue 2x2 corners and a few 1x2 and 2x3. I intended to use all blue for the surrounding environment. Bluish greys works really well with other shades of blue.

Although the Mystic Isles are the most sacred place of all Avalonia, it doesn't stop Nocturnus from setting up an embassy here. We took over an old druid's shrine on one of the islands and converted it into our embassy. The moc is inspired by this image from Avalonia's topic. The embassy from different angles. Ambassador Tentaclelith One of the embassy's main job, like all embassies throughout history, is intelligence gathering, aka spying. Therefore Nocturnus's hands need to reach all of Historica, literally! That's where our ambassador's ability comes into play... The Mystic Isle is a scenic place. It's so pure, that it makes you want to taint this purity with pure evilness. It's like being the first person to walk on fresh snow. My Brickshelf The Mystic Isle is probably my favorite place amongst all the places covered in the four guilds intro. But Avalonia is my least favorite guild. So I'm glad that I get this chance to build something outside Nocturnus. Hope you like it.

Even Lord of Lava has heard of her beauty and decided to see it in person. He instantly fell in love with her. And with some love... And magic... Lord of Lava turned her into his personal succubus geisha. I was trying out some flower field technique. Then decide to turn it into a moc for Historica, since our guild is low on mocs. B-OV-19B This is an expanded version of my batman contest entry Axis Chemical. At the time, I was thinking of making an industrial plant of some sort. Then the contest happened, so I entered with the Axis Chemical. But I wanted something bigger... At first I expanded it into a 2x2 plant. Then I expanded it one more time. More on my brickshelf when public.

My next couple of Historica builds are going to use lot of bionicle and hero factory parts. They are great for building none standard stuff.

I'm thinking of doing an embassy in Avolonia's mystic forest. No matter how sacred it is, we'll find a way inside.

Poor lego, got in the cross-hair of some extreme feminist group. Hope TLG's PR department saw this one coming, because I want this theme to succeed and bring us more colors.

On the question whether Lego is unisex toy in the poll, I'd say again that individual bricks are unisex. But the final product is not. Some models appeal to girls more and some to boys more. So generic brick bucket can be unisex, but themes should not be. As I learned in the only business class I took, you need different products to satisfy different groups.

I can't understand why Lego need to be unisex. Individual bricks can be unisex, but when put together they are not. Tell me that a laser shooting tank and a doll house covered in flower can be sold to the same sex. Plus some of the bricks themselves are not unisex. How many different swords and guns do we have? Why can't we have pink ribbons? I just want new molds and new colors.

I originally intended to have pokemons all to scale. Like Charmeleon is half the size of Charizard. But that didn't work out too well. But I still like this scale because you can do trainers of the same scale. That's my next project. Red came out ok in my photo, but my resize tool really messed up the red. I don't have the time to mess with photoshop now. But I'll do it later with all my pokemon mocs.

For a while I had the title of pokemon master (now I'm lord of lava), not sure how I got it. But to live up to that title and to keep up with my pokemon mocs, here's Charmeleon. Enjoy
