LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
not-in-use-anymore replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Starkiller? I thought that was the old version of Anakin, or did they use it somewhere? I haven't been paying much attention to SW since CW season 2 ended. -
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I do know it was computer generated, but what I meant is that they would make a minifig that looks close to it, but with realistic peices/colors. This topic hasn't been posted in for months... *looks out into alot of nothing*

On the minifig mission site, in mission #6, you can see there are parts in there that can be made/are made(like the ron/max/skater hair) so I think lego will either: A)make sets for it B)have them at events to buy/win them or C)not make anything at all. My geuss is with B.

It was a joke, though it could actually be a lego batman reference, they're made by the same company and TT games has done it before. I don't even think it is, i'm just saying it's a possibility. Also, i found a new video: http://kotaku.com/5475628/behind-the-scene...go-harry-potter

Wait, where did you hear no hub menu in Lego Harry Potter? or did you mean no hub worlds? -

The fireplace feature reminds me of the indiana jones cemetery battle set, with the turning entrance. -
I found some new screenshots: http://worthplaying.com/article/2010/2/9/news/72177/ My observations:(i am not going to do old images) Hagrids hut: characters have realistic staying-in-one-spot-movements(Harry cleaning glasses) and i think i see a hint of Batman in the backround... Gringotts: first image will probably some part of Gringotts, but i have no idea where. the vault seems a bit empty. Potions class: the cat appears to be the same one as in the opening cutscene. lego needs to make a potions class set that includes black jewel peices. in second image, Snape looks old(ish) and really angry. in third image we can see why he's angry, he can't slice bananas with a wand. DADA: the Lockhart paintings in the backround looks really...weird. Herbology: the madrakes look really good, lego should make microfigs of them. the Burrow: Fred and George must've pranked Ron, saying he had school today. "where's the train?" creepy Knockturn Alley shop: three questions: why is Hagrid there, why is The Hand of Glory super huge, and why is there an aquarium? Great Hall: was Proffesor Flitwick head of Ravenclaw? girls bathroom: this must be either Eyeless troll dancing, most commonly found in magical schools, or an exercise video being made. train: maybe this will be the inbetween area, so you don't just walk from Hogwarts to Diagon Alley or wherever you're going. the train seems alot bigger than in the movie, they could have made the lollipops a smaller, minifig size, not lego sized(IMO they are too big for minifgis). I bet some doors are locked, and you need a certain character to get past.

From the pulled back view we can see Harid could possibly be in the leaky cauldron, but why is he pulling a chain with flame coming out of a statue/dragon? In another, Harry is on a platform in Olivanders Wand Shop, maybe you have to find out how to get to the wand? And finally in the entrance to Diagon Alley, you can see the barrels have light shining from them, which in Lego Indiana Jones means you can get in them.

Lego games special features: Lego Star Wars: First Lego/TT game Lego Indiana Jones: pick things up/swim/climb Lego Batman: Batarang/play as villians Lego Indiana Jones 2: level creator/KOTCS Lego Harry Potter: Spells/Potions/level creator Lego Clone Wars: ________? What might they use to attract attention? -
Thanks, I used this idea, but made a larger one for hagrid.

Has anyone noticed in the videos Draco and a couple others sound really weird? Draco seems alot more nervous than in the movies, and his mumbling-voice has a higher pitch than I expected... I'm glad to see that animals are playable characters. From what i'm seeing, this game will probably include more puzzles compared to other games. In most levels I can imagine it will be easy to find the four howarts sheild parts. (oh, and it appears the little images in the corners move, unlike other lego games)

Indiana Jones and the.. Refrigerator?
not-in-use-anymore replied to Sir Gecko's topic in LEGO Licensed
I don't know why lots of people don't believe he could survive a bomb in a fridge...would you prefer they have him survive it outside, in the full blast? -
Are you sure you tried to make it a CC style building? To me it looks more like the Green Grocer with the staircase design and 2 doors.
-
Well, the car was the only thing i could think of at that time, but they could use anything.

I just found this while looking around, before I was just posting in the Liscenced themes area. Though, in one article I saw, it said there was a builder. I have some geusses for it: Props-Harry Potter or Builder guy Landscaping-the Weasley's flying car Enemies-Voldermort Baseplates-Hagrid

Hey, i found out an interesting thing: there will possibly be a level creator in the new game. I found this out here:http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/adventure/legoharrypotteryears14/news.html?sid=6248878&mode=previews What characters could they use for it? Here are my geusses: Props-Harry Enemies-Voldermort Landscaping-Flying car Baseplates-Hagrid Though it says it'll be similar, TT could be adding something, or it might not even be there. -

How are they going to do villians on broomsticks in the game? The movies never show villians on broomsticks, only students, so where are they supposed to put them on the broom-flying-skills chart? -
I geuss in that first picture, he's sickly yellow with fear... I bet his hat will come back somehow.

Wait a second... Belatrix never appeared until the fifth movie, so I'm confused. If it's all supposed to be related to the videogame, it doesn't make sense. the only thing i can think of is that since they have done the fifth movie once, they can do it again. Wonder what type of hairpeice they'll use? -

If you look at Dobby's head in the video, you can see it's a slightly different shade than his body. Why are people talking alot about the Hogwarts 2x2 tile in the boardgame? Didn't it come out with one of the Goblet of Fire sets? Looking at the boardgame, I think the customizable feature that's included in all the Lego Games sets, is the changing staircases that are in the area around the tower. The Dobby's Release set, could possibly be a little part of Dumbledor's office. One problem i have with Hermione and Ron, is their faces, Ron looks too wrinkly, while Hermione looks too sleepy.
