REVIEW: 8683 Minifig series 1 -
not-in-use-anymore replied to CopMike's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Is there any back printing? I'm geussing the magician's wand is the same type of peice as the laser beam, though the great thing is that he isn't any type of miner/police officer/robot/insect. -
Not really, it came with some of the gas station sets. One thing I don't like about sets like these, are that they are slighly bigger/smaller than minifig scale, so drivers look weird.

Interesting MOC. Though, is this supposed to be the rebuilt one or the destroyed one?

My oxyclean Oxley: Hair: Dumbeldore hair Head: Proffessor Lupin's head Beard: Long light grey beard Torso: Mr. Dursley torso Arms: Dark tan Legs: Dark grey My Mac: Hair: Dark grey combed hair(or Mutt's hair) Head: Soldier head with dark grey moustache Torso: Belloq's(Short Round's torso also works) Legs: Brown or dark grey I haven't seen the movie in a while, but that's the best I can remember(though I'm sure that Mac is not blonde, even though He's blonde in the videogame). Once the Harry Potter sets come out, you might want to use the new face for Toht, because it isn't too bored/happy.

I'm pretty sure there was a link a few pages back, though the video was made by a different person.
-
Aren't those EA? I don't remember ever seeing them in any of the four movies.
-
Probably a black fedora for Toht, even though there are the 2 dents in it, it's probably as close as you can get.

Yes, and Duplo bricks(why do all the printed parts have to be Duplo?!).

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

No, I meant the new type of building that's in LHP where you can move peices around where you want them(but it's sadly 2D...). -

I'm hoping you can build with magic the force, like in Lego Harry Potter(hopefully they can change it so you can place bricks anywhere you want, not just in 2D) Though, the new build-a-base/battlefield idea is interesting. I'm geussing you build a base like you would a level, with traps 'n stuff, then choose a main battlefield to place vehicles and edit, and finally choose what bases, battlefields and characters you want(similar to the adventure builder in LIJ2, if I'm getting too confusing). My geusses for the new attack moves: Lightsaber slicing: Slicing people with lightsabers Lightsaber jump: maybe using the lightsaber to help you jump higher? Grapple ______: Probably the same functions as the whip in LIJ2 Lightsaber throw: Probabaly similar to the batarang There was something about controlling a group of people, but I don't know how that will work with the normal controls. For the hubs, I'm hoping it won't be like the first games, where you just go into a door and magically appear on Dagobah, but not as confusing as LIJ2. (also, I say it is the third one, because TCS just seemed like 2 1/2) -
Did anyone notice how they used cones attached to pole peices instead of flick fire missiles? I've never seen the videogames, but these sets do seem videogame-ish, especially with all the studs on the sides. The Lego.com version of him reminds me of Shaggy for some reason... Even though they really put too many pearl gold peices in, I'm happy they put in a couple of dark brown peices.

I never knew you could do it with an axe, but like in my previous post, I think any thin peice can get under tiles. Sometimes to get racer helmets out of trashcans, I use a minifig and wiggle it until it comes out. The Technic axle problem has only happenned to me once, with an Exo-force gun. And the Technic 1x4 example doesn't always work for me, because sometimes it just pushes it in even more.

One problem I have, is when you need to take out a plate in the middle of a sea of tiles and it won't come off with another brick(unless you take tiles off one by one until you can get an open space for the plate to go into, but it's just as annoying). When attaching a brick to a stuck peice to pull it off, it sometimes pushes it into the problem more. One time I got a broken staff top stuck inside an old space gun(not the magephone type), I at least still have the other part of the staff.

Rats! I heard it was coming out on the 2nd, three days before my birthday, and this annoying. The characters don't seem too cartoony to me, but maybe I've just been around too many Atlantis and CW sets. Also, I have a theory about the enviornment. In all of the previous games, you can smash stuff until here's barely any Lego left. My theory is that because these are early images, they haven't added in any important and/or smashable props. If you look under the staircase in this video you can see what I think is Draco, Crabbe and Goyle, but they seem odd... just standing there, looking at the wall:

If they were a good company, I might do it if I could, but would prefer to work at Lego. Now, if it's MB... I'd create horrible sets so that people won't want them anymore

CLASSIC Review: 6930 Mission Control Centre

Great review, and I'm pretty sure those mailboxes are supposed to store the air tanks when not being used so that they can sit comfortably in their chair. -
[Brick Flick] NNN - The Orange-Green War Begins
not-in-use-anymore replied to fallentomato's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Yes, but if everyone was colorblind, wouldn't it would be Purple vs. Yellow? -
I only saw the movies up to 6, but can only remember up to 5, so I don't know what scene this was in. Did you mean the greenhouses? they're supposed to be right next to Hogwarts, and on the other side there shouldn't be a cliff.(according to the movie) Also, shouldn't it have a sunroof?

What was that evil guy's name? I couldn't understand it in the video.(not Malifios, the guy who enslaves poor little yetis and ewoks) I didn't know how serious this war was beginning to get... I geuss I'll have to choose my side. At least the capitol didn't get destroyed(that's what the gold stud was, right?). -
The box must have had some editing done to show the chandelier, or maybe it's just because of the angle in your picture that I can't see it.
-
Well, that is the size of the cups in the first videogame... Shouldn't it be filled with alot of dead guys holding false grails?
-
This has ALOT more detail than I heard of before, I'll probably get this instead of Fire Brigade. I heard that the figures in the window were printed, and I was expecting a sort of shadow face, like a normal face but no mouth/eyes. In the roof extras, is the yellow tile normal yellow? Maybe it's just the lighting, but it looks like that Bionicle yellow. But there is security, and that's the escalators that go one way, robbers can steal stuff but can't get away.

I don't understand, is this a bank advertisement with Lego, or an advertisement for a new clone?

Found some new pictures: http://www.harrypotterspage.com/images/pho...=179&page=2 What's the file 32 supposed to be(the number above the image once you click on it, if you need to know)? It looks like Hogsmeade, but in the Spring/Summer.
