  1. Bought this a few weeks asgo and it's my first minfig-scale X-Wing - absolutely love it.
  2. Beautiful work. Still flabbergasted it's not a real LEGO set already. Based on the piece count, what do you think it would retail for?
  3. How's the new Darth Maul headpiece fit on the classic Maul minifig head? I mean, I know it fits physically, but does it look okay?
  4. Meh, again, I'm pretty happy with the Royal Guards. I understand if people aren't happy with it but really, BP's haven't been great for army-building for a couple years now. The aforementioned Bomb Squad Troopers come to mind, as does the Elite Clone Troopers one.
  5. Love the new Batgirl. Not even a big fan of the character but loving the minifig - and of course, a new GL and a Flash are attractive. To be frank though, the models themselves sound bland on paper.. but who knows how awesome they could be for real?
  6. Well, some of us are happy to get cheap Royal Guards :D
  7. Waiting on the new Millennium Falcon and an Obi-Wan Kenobi minifig in the mail... last of my birthday and graduation money gone, but really looking forward to finally having the most iconic ship in the Saga :)
  8. The Starfighters are around $30-40 each now and the last Slave I was $70... so that's $100 for both vehicles assuming they don't get chopped up. I'd rather just buy them individually myself. Yeah, I think you could fit in the $20-25 price range. Has some important class figs, a major location that TLJ's shown can be rendered in Lego before, and has some cool potential play features - Hagrid's Hut is one of my favorite HP sets after all ^^
  9. Love the pegasus and the bald eagle - beautiful work!
  10. I would really like to see Obi-Wan's original Ep. 2 Jedi Starfighter back. The Clone Wars renditions have been nice and all, but I avoid collecting CW sets due to the minifig incompatibility.... and I mean, come on, if we're going to give Saesee Tinn a starfighter, old Ben needs his back! The fact they did a UCS one and just released a mini makes me wonder if there's a small chance a new one might already be on the way... Also, an updated version of Yoda's Hut, maybe as a standalone set this time :D A new Dagobah Luke and maybe a new OT torso for the new Yoda... and I won't cross my fingers, but a murky R2-D2 could be fun! TLG probably doesn't feel there'd be a lot of play features but I think it'd be easily improvised. Last one for now - the Final Duel sets were favorites of mine as a kid, I'd love a new standalone set of it, even if it was marked up. Such an iconic scene, and fits the ROTJ theme well.
  11. My name's John, I'm eighteen years old and I'm from Chicago, IL. I've been collecting LEGO since I was at least five years old. I was a big fan of Duplo but pretty soon I was transferring over to 'miniature' LEGO's - the original Naboo Starfighter was my first system-scale set in memory. Over the years I've continued purchasing LEGO sets, and while I deal primarily in licensed themes, I do pick up sets from general themes from time to time. My favorite themes have been LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Harry Potter and LEGO Super-Heroes, and anything with dinosaurs, although my interest in the former themes prevented me from taking part in the most recent version of the latter. I'm not one for MOC building or minifig customization, but I like reading about 'em. I usually prefer building locations over vehicles, but that doesn't mean there aren't vehicle sets I enjoy. And like most fans, I'm big on minifigs, but I try to buy for the sets themselves rather than the figs included. My collection is listed here at Brickset and I'm hoping to submit some reviews soon ^^ As someone who's frequented online message boards for around ten years, I thought it would be logical to find a LEGO one to frequent... so here I am.
