Thanks for your suggestion, but my favorite is not only control train moving manual, it is auto controll train system, so I have to use RCX, it was controlled rail in past 9v system, now I tried to control train itself with PF system. Here is what I did in past, all controlled by 4 RCXs, they keep in communications sync.

Because nobody gave suggestion, I have to modify it by myself, though I have no ny experience for 8 wide train, I am on my way, here is half works, pls give suggestion again,

I am very sorry, this is my mistake, LEGO sent me 6L in set 8866, but I found if I use it that I can't use Motorbogie, Ornament, now I found it is too short!By the way, the Motorbogie, Ornament in this picture is different from mine, mine is no hole on the side plate, why? are there Motorbogie, Ornament for RC wheels?

That patch is to improve kernel of legOS, not lejOS:)

Do you know if all of those patches have been integrated into v0.9? And which site's patches are newer?

There is a article "Prioritizing interrupts in LegOS", this article was written by students in Aalborg University in 2000. They modified legOS and improved performance, I searched a lot of time on Internet but no results! Does anyone can tell me where I can download their patch, I want to patch them to my brickOS, I am using it to control my auto train systems.

I found axle 6L is too short, my train wheels separate a lot of times, what can I do? how do you solve this problems?

It looks like blinking, but only one time, I read some article that said v1.5 blinking two times at startup, which is correct?

I read some articles about PF IR receiver, it is said there are three versions sold by lego, v2 is only included in 4x4 car set, and v1 is not good, and I tested my two receivers just got from lego. I found when I use RCX Remote Control to control RCX with brickOS, then send LPF to control receiver, the motors on receiver did't response as soon as possible, I am afraid my receivers are v1, how can I know if it is v1.5 not v1?

Yeah, that is.old type box, but I used extension wire to use old battery box, is this ok?

I just received two PF receivers from LEGO, when I connected it to 9v battery, the LED on it never bright, I am not sure if this is normal, does anyone help me? How can I know if it does work iwth out problems? Bu the way, I have no PF remote but have RCXs.

Hi, did you use this PF101 to control PF receiver by RCX? i also tried but even I rotated axle in rotation sensor, PF receiver doesn't action, can you help me?
