  1. Thanks so much everyone! This was so much fun, really great contest. Congrats to all the winners and everyone else as well.
  2. I finally did a photo session with my Cthulhu, after tearing down and setting him up for four different events in October. He flew to BrickCon, drove to San Francisco for a Tested interview, appeared in a scene for Brick Madness in Fresno and video-chatted across the country with the guys from the Lovecraft eZine. 3. Thanks for all your work, this has been an excellent contest!
  4. Looks like a fun contest! Time to start thinking with technic...
  5. Thanks! If you check the notes on this image it shows the placing I used to get it to work: I'm not planning on making instructions, but hopefully LEGO will do that for me if the Cuusoo is successful! Thanks! Right now the stage just rotates so you can look at the three different moonstones, but I do plan on adding x/y stage adjustment in the future.

LEGO Microscope MkII - Hero by Carlmerriam, on Flickr LEGO Microscope MkII - Detail by Carlmerriam, on Flickr LEGO Microscope MkII - Actual View by Carlmerriam, on Flickr This creation uses 4 LEGO magnifying glasses to create a fully functional compound microscope. Other features include separate coarse and fine adjustment knobs, power functions LEDs and a rotating stage. Hope you guys enjoy it! Now on Cuusoo: http://lego.cuusoo.c...eas/view/44370
  7. Thanks Andy! Fresno, unfortunately. But I do go up to SF quite a bit.
  8. I had too much building those! How many did you do, 7? No, 8! You're a beast, man. Yours are all really nice but I loved the medieval one best. I'm kind of a John Deere fan so I was going to do a tractor, but I ran out of free time. I was happy to see yours on there.
  9. Hi guys! I'm Carl, carlmerriam on flickr, Brick_Laboratory everywhere else. I joined up for the Pimp my Camper Van contest, been checking out all the great stuff on here ever since! I enjoy building pretty much anything. Lately I've been really into specialized creature parts. The medusa tails, new small olive green raptors and the beautiful rancor. I'm really glad LEGO has been making more creatures out of multiple special parts that can be repurposed. Hopefully I'll see some of you at BrickCon! -Carl http://www.bricklaboratory.com/
  10. Thanks guys! This is such a fantastic contest. So many great mocs.
