LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

Not according to Mirander. He claims TLG wants kids to spend less. This will do the opposite. Bang goes that theory. -

Not to me. BPs have always been there to seriously amp up your troops forces. Doing them like this hampers that, causing you to buy more instead of less. And is this another 'I heard this from a friend who work with LEGO'? Because we all know how those tend to turn out. -

As I've said before- everything here is ridiculous. The only thing I believe here is what we were shown at SDCC, because everything else just seems outright insane. -

I don't know. Personally, everything except the Amidala fig and the TIE seems ludicruous to me. SW Collectible minifigs? Multi faction battlepacks? I honestly have no clue where people think of this stuff. -
Blast! I'd love to have joined this, but I'm not going to be available at all next week.

Yes, but the N-1 isn't completely chrome. The Royal Starship is, and it's also a fair bit larger. -

Well 7879 was an attempt to combine three scenes from a largely interrior set. Theed has stunning outdoor views, and TLG has been able to capture that sort of thing well, so I'm thinking it should look fairly nice. My biggest question is whether or not we'll see part of the reactor room. Yeah, I briefly thought 7749 was the Battle of Naboo set. -

Doubtfull. Summer sets are rarley that small. And a Royal Cruiser- with all the chrome bricks needed- is far from likely. A Theed Playset is our best bet. -

If it was Cpt. Kirk (That was his name, right?) I'd agree, but it wasn't It was someone else with no proof whatsoever. I could say that Amidala came with a giant Grassy Plains battle set and say I have pics, but that doesn't make it true. -

That immediatly makes me think of the Nebulon V frigate, somethign AFOLs have been waiting for for a while now... -
I just got my camera back, so I've been whipping up some new ones.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
The Legonater replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Something everyone should pick up? That's hard. The way it's phrased it soundds like something that hasn't been made before, and there isn't a lot of that, especially for something directed at AFOLs. Although we have had Cloud City before, it may be a lot more detailed. Or it could be something unthought of, like Dagobah or the Jedi Temple. Or maybe the hint- as suggested- refers to Shadows of the Empire or some other EU set. It's hard to tell. -

But Leia has a Celebration gown. Chewie didn't get a medal either, mid you. I just had an incredible feeling of deja vu! -

I really don't see what's so bad about SW canon. Until tCW came in, the official canon they had was fine and amde sence. -

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion

If you're implying we're seeing Nulls, I highly doubt it. If we get Nulls, we needs Skirata. If we get Skirata, we need Omega. And as I've already mentioned, the chances of them are slim. I'm also hoping this new 'no messing with continuity' oath includes everything EU. If you're implying the irratic behavior, that's slightly more likely, but I still doubt it. The clones we've seen are the 'good soldier' type, and not prone to lashing out. It is possible, I guess, that we may see more of that Null-like behavior in some older clones, but again, I doubt it. If you're implying clones doing what they please, going on personal missions... I doubt that too, but it could be itneresting. We've already seen traiters, and we know Filoni has some slight RC influance, so it's hard to say. . -
LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace TV Special

Yeah, but they don't make every single piece of a ship a new part. And they certainly don't smother their pieces with studs in every angle or bend them. -

I can think of a total of... zero times. The closest we've gotten was the ARC a year or so ago- but we already knew that was coming, and it's ahrd to tell if that was even a new version. For the former reason, Bombad Bounty doesn't count either. -

Frankly, I think Doc is right. People are stressing about minute details. It's nearly impossible to make the TIE that thin and still look good. Half a plate is not worth giving up a great set like this, nor is it worht all the fuss people are making over it. -

Finally watched it. It was a lot more fun than I'd imagined- I really pictured one of the badly done shorts LEGO generally does. Not sure if it would be somethign I'd pick up, but it was fun to watch. -

Well, he's finally learned his lesson, it seems. It's too bad he didn't think of that a few years prior, when they got the idea of including Mandolorians... So if we're not getting Delta, chances are Omega's out too. As much as I'd like to see them both have a larger role int he series, at least it's for a good cause. -
