Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
The Legonater replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I always feel people understate that. Skywalker's turn was a slow, long process, then began back in Ep.1. The prequels are such a delicate balance, and a lot of people seem to look at it in a couple large section, thus not appreciating it's true beauty. -
Release dates are a flimsy piece of work. It really depends on the store near you. For example, my local TRU tends to get things late, so I'm expecting late Augest, early September. My Wal-Mart on the other hand has a knack of getitng sets when you least expect them, so I'm thinking Early Augest, late July. Generally, the sets should come out anytime from now to September, so keep checking.

[REVIEW] 7961 Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator
The Legonater replied to Future74's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Personally, Maul's Inflitrator has always been a silly set. You only see it for about 10 seconds of the movie, and yet TLG's made three sets of it. This is the only one that I want- and that's mainly because of the MFs. It's sad. Nice review Future! -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

To be honest, the weapons you listed are all Halo weapons. Your best bet would be the Little Arms Shop. -
- Actually, that could be interesting if they manage to make the N-1 work in that scale. - Good point
-
I keep meaning to do it but I can't figure out how I haven't gotten around to it.

If there were to be a Theed set, it'd need the following: -Throne Room -At least one hall, likely with 'smashable' window. -A small hanger. Let's be honest- this is TLG we're talking about, it's not gonna be big. -'Reactor room', or whatever the place is where one of the best duels happened. -Some sort of exterior. Likely a door with some small scenery. -Padme 1 or 2: Preferably with battle dress, maybe one with the famous red queen robe. -Obi-Wan -Qui-Gon -Darth Maul -Anakin. I don't care how much you hate him, he's neccesary. -Panaka (?) -R2 -Theed Guard- 1 or 2. -Droidika -Battle Droid- 1 or 2

Funny, that was my original suggestion

I could see you making it bigger, and then you combinging it with ACPin's sarlac- that would be very cool! Nice work so far!

Besides, isn't there a different blueprints series that came out recently for cheaper? -
I was really hoping that this ship would contain lots of the important charecters so that I could get them all in one go without spending money on the terribly overpriced small sets. Personally, LEGO should've replaced Bootstrap with Elizabith. Granted, I only saw the movies for the second time a year or so ago, but I don't even remember Bootstrap.

-Nah, it's definatly tan. But seriously- let's avoid another blue one. It jsut doesn't look right. -Yeah, but LEGO rarely does that. -That sounds good. -It's an old joke. Doc might get it. -I'm thinking bigger. To do Theed justice, it should be at least 100 bucks, probably more. -The Droid Control Ship -Speak for yourself
-
I really don't know what to say about this- you all did such an amasing job. I love every details of it, from the inclusion of all the MOCs to the incredible lighting to the nod to Zorro. Great work, everyone!

A few ideas for the supposed TPM wave: A new tan AAT- it's long overdue, we all know it. A new MTT- though I doubt they'll be able to best the 2007 one. A new Flash Speeder- prefferably with some Naboo gaurds. A new Gungan Patrol- the Droid Carrier was ncie, but we need more dinosaur poniess kaduus, maybe even a fambaa. Theed- We desperatly need a Theed playset to finish Naboo. Or get ACPin to build us all models, whichever works. Droid Control Station- I'm honestly shocked we haven't had any varient of this. A midi model, perhaps? New Padme figs- We all want them- admit it.

LEGO Universe is going free-to-play
The Legonater replied to bugefun's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Same here. I was invited to the Beta, but the blasted helpc enter didn't help me one bit, so I never got into the game. -
Here's one Praiter Yed more or less asked me to do: Blast, there's a lot more dust in that picture than I had expected
-
80 bucks for that? I was think 50, max. Sheesh prices are insane these days...

LEGO Exclusive 10221 - Super Star Destroyer
The Legonater replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I see that and three words come to mind- marshall_bannana, Anio, and ACPin Seriously, I'd love to see any of you guys give this a shot. -
I really hope this is true. I love the Midi line, and am missing out so far this year.
-
That's wierd, I always thought the SW battles packs were 12...
-
Personally, this is one set I don't intend to miss out on. I have yet to get Ep.4 Leia, Ben, or Luke (Or the new Vader) Nnor do I have a System Falcon, so this is a must have. Thanks for the review- it really sealed the deal for me.

Question for SW Mod Buyers
The Legonater replied to The Legonater's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks, Omicron! -
Lately I've been getting into 'mod' sites like Brickarms. After purchasign several WW2 weapons, I switched my focus to SW. I've seen some of the nice helmets Arealight has, so I went there first. Unfortunatly- they only accept Paypal, and my Paypal acocunt got all messed up somehow. Does anyone know anyone else that sells SW helmets?
-
Like others have said, it's a bit smaller than I expected, but it's still a really nice MOC. Perfect as always. Well done!

The Legonater replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yay for us I never realised USCs were so expensive- I was looking forward to this being my first until I saw the price tag.
