Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
The Legonater replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
One final point, because the following comment is one of my ultimate pet peeve statements... It's not anymore. It stopped being his universe not long after ANH came out and Alan Dean Foster wrote Slinter of the Mind's Eye. SW is a shared universe, the output of dozens of writers who have fought and thought long and hard for these ideas. It's their universe too. They should have a say of whether their work is tossed out the window, especially if it's for no reason. -

I'm with Tanma here. I don't care how it's organised, TCW has messed up so much that it's nearly impossible to mix with C-Canon, which was perfectly layed out, with few flaws. -

Luke was caught by vents, or something like that, which severely decreased the injury of the fall. As for Anakin, it's a well-established fact that he has a higher midchlorian count, thus making him better in the Force, and thus able to survive the fall. And the room is called the reacter room in so many places it'd be a crime for TCW to change it to soemthing else. As for that last point, that makes a lot of sence. It seems to me that Filoni has an idea of what the fans want- it was his dieas, after all, to include the RCs, Mandos and the like. Lucas seems to be the one that's been messing things up, however, and it seems the more control he ahs over TCW, the worse it gets. -

Yet another reason TCW shouldn't be considered canon. Unless someone managed to clone Maul, then this may effectivly trump Lucas and Filoni ruining Mandolorians as the stupidest thing they've done thus far. -
LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
The Legonater replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I for one am certainly not impressed with these sets. These all look like half hearted efforts. I'm really hoping that the Mini X-Wing comes with Porkins, because it would give me absolutly no incentive to buy the larger model. And the escape pod still is completely unappealing. The summer sets don't sound much better, except for the Palace. -
Personally, I'm more interested in Quest 9. Some simple math makes it clear that it offers more gold, and a relationship with the Hinkwells sounds better than the Guild.
-
..Oh. There's a moment of awkward silence, until I pique up again. So, seen any good theater shows lately?
-
I nod at Alf in greeting, then turn back to Atramor, blinking a little. ...Was that it?
-
I look curiously at McCaffery. An interesting choice for a pet. Where'd you find him? Or her? It?
-
I see the action at a nearby table, and go to sit beside the odd-looking fellow with the chicken. I eye him carefully. You must be a fellow rogue! I don't believe we've met, I'm Dyric.
-
Another quest? Incredible! I sign up for quest 11. Just a quick note to you fellow heroes, if I do happen to be accepted to Quest 9, that will take preferance over the other ones, you understand? Happy I made myself clear, I sit down at a table and wonder where the best place to get food is.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
The Legonater replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I find the Escape Pod to be a rather shallow set- especially seeing as I already have the old Pod. The new 3P0 is ugly, making the only reason to buy it is to get some dirtier Sandtroopers. It's a pass for me. -
I'm actually a little surprised that Dyric isn't in there, seeing as he uses fairly common parts. I'm not angry, just a tad dissapointed. Nonetheless, you've done a smashing job Sandy, and look forward to seeing what else you plan to do with the heroes.
-
Another quest! Here's to doubling my chances... I sign up for quest 10 as well.
-
Did I do soemthing wrong?
-
Mostly rouges or rangers? Perhaps this is my chance! I sign up for Quest 9.
-
If he doesn't, I say we dance on his grave.
-
Not sure about that entry, pal. It seemed a little... skeletal. Perhaps you should put more life into it. And your tone quality is flat, dead. And put some meat on those bones! I look around for more bad puns.
-
I watch in amazment as a group of heroes who had just entered the hall dissapeared again. ...Cheque please!
-
I chuckle at the thought. So, you just back from a quest, I take it?
-
I chuckle lightly, then offer my hand. I'm Dyric Rone. I come from a family of 'noble' rogues- I ignore the chorus of groans from people who have heard this story five too many times- who helped the rulers track down all kinds of scum. After they discovered our actions, however, they exiled me from the coutnry I hope I can redeem myself by joining in the quests of these fellow heroes, and return home.
-
Oops, I meant the fourth pic- if you lok closely, he has a green arm.

For controls, everything is pretty much down to your movement keys, the space bar, and the left and right mouse button. Left button is often for breaking/attacking, whereas right click is often for placing blocks, but is also used for several 'special' things, like shearing sheep, using bonemeal, firing a bow-and-arrow, blocking, etc. As for the latter, if you're playing singleplayer, flying and summoning resources are restricted to creative and mods. I can't say the same for multiplayer, because my comp is laggy so I rarely play these types of thigns online.
-
I sit with the returned heroes, eager to take in everything they tell of their journey.

Judging by the description in Heroica Hall, is that Sham in the third picture with the giant white hat?
