  1. Current sign-ups for Quest 64: Discord in Duplovia: -Sarge (Skyrimguy) -Grimwald (LordoftheNoobs) -Sir Brickington (Brickington) -Arnulf (Shocker86) -Alexander (Wedge 09) -Thalion (-obelix) Thanks to Doc for the banner!
  2. I saw Les Mis a week or two ago, and loved it. I got the movie and deluxe soundtrack within a matter of days, its the only musical I've thoroughly enjoyed. Any quotes are more than welcome, especially from a great character like Gavroche.
  3. I also seem to remember Sandy not expecting people to hold on to most weapons they pick up.
  4. I can't find any response from Sandy to that particular suggestion in this topic.
  5. So, out of curiosity, was there an official yea or nay on this suggestion?
  6. Well, I know rogues used to be able to get through locks as a job class.
  7. Why Don't You Just Smash it?
  8. Why does it feel like everyone's stealing my amazing plot points before I can even start the story?
  9. Hard to say, but I think it'll be a medium to small-sized quest.

  11. I don't think I had much of my backstory made before Dyric entered the hall, save the basic fact that he had been exiled from some distant country. Most of his backstory was created through Quest 19.
  12. Speaking of coins, the amount of gold assassins make can pretty much solve the issue of assassins being weak. It gets pretty easy to pay for an upgrades.
  13. I have to agree with Assassins being a support class. In quests like 53, Alexis and I were mainly useful in clearing out the mooks while everyone else dealt with the heavy hitters.
  14. I'm pretty sure that's the clearest shot of Dyric I've taken. I guess my photography skills have improved?
  15. Frustrated, Dyric fashions himself a new look, one far more suiting for an Assassin of the Light... He strides back in the hall and the sun streams in around him, highlighting his new image.
  16. That's if you don't accidentally kill the whole party, of course.
  17. Still restless, I sign up for Quest 65.
  18. Weary of the argument - and in need of target practice - I turn and yell across the hall to Scheherazade. Hey, would you mind setting up some bottles or glasses up on the bar table?
  19. Dyric merely sighed, too exhausted from their constant arguing - and with the news from his brother - to intercede again.
  20. 'Can't say I have, sorry.
  21. I said rarely. The Prestige is an amazing film, and makes great use of flashbacks and forewords.
  22. I don't really like flash backs in general. I found they are rarely done in an interesting, engaging way, and usually feel like a cop-out. I far prefer when stories are told linearly - like in Les Miserables, for one (I mainly use this example because I just saw the movie). Obviously, this kind of format is a lot harder in an environment like this, and I wouldn't suggest it. Personally, I'd say to describe things as much as possible if you want these events known. Besides, hearing a person's past filtered through that person can be a lot more interesting than seeing it without any perspective.
  23. We all knew it had to happen eventually.
  24. Well, Endgame, I think that qualifies as a most definitely true final boss. Though to be honest, Quest 48 probably hits just about every boss trope that ever existed.
