  1. This is definitly a great idea! *y* Certainly worth doing. Too bad all my ships are kinda.... dismantled.. :'-( But soon you shall see a new sail on the horizon!! There's just one thing about the colour of the table. It seems a bit hard for the eyes and perhaps a bit boring too. I think the background colour of a pirate forum post would do fine. I'd love to see a big list of ships here.
  2. Wow Captain K, that's enormous!! 8-
  3. You want to buy camel sir?
  4. Hmmm, well you do have a point about Indiana Jones and the Agents line, but I just don't see this happening. This is just a few steps too much over TLC policy. I mean, Indiana Jones is having all sorts of adventures, and so do the agents. But what's so romantic about world war II?? It's about killing the enemy. I really don't see TLC to romaticize WW2... A bomber i.e. is to kill as many enemies as possible, right? While Indy's plane, wich probably would also be armed, is to bring him from the one place to another, etc etc. I just don't see it happening, and would think it's sad if it would.. Just my 2 cents. :-)
  5. What a peaceful little scene. :-) I bet that orc doesn't stand a chance! :-P Very well built, but I do have one little suggestion though. I'm not sure if it'll work but since the water is roling over the beach, I would try to raise the water a plate. Making the tide line 2 studs thick, and the second one directly on the plate, not raised. Not sure if it'll work though, but I looks good like it is now! *y*
  6. A Troll driven by a turkey leg, what a wonderful little detail!!! :-D :-D Thanks for the review Vader. Very clever, using a flag to hide that crazy firing device. I find it rather odd they used blue pins for this. Black or gray would've been alot more discrete. About the big trolls, I think using different colours is good. I don't think a troll force would be very organized, so different colours would make the effect complete *y* . As for your troops, looks quite fearsome! Definitely compared to my pathetic number of soldiers.. :-$ A nice set, but I would rather get the Attack on Tower though.. no matter about the price difference.
  7. Thanks alot for this review TinyPies! I never knew this set was so detailed. I love the barrel with fireworks. Definitly one of the better sets! I highly regret I didn't buy this set when I had the chance. Probably because of the money... :'-( Ooooh good old times :'-) Marvelous review for a first one, by the way.
  8. Wow, nice ship TinyPies!! I love all those little details. 12 days??? Time really fies!! 8-
  9. Hmm, that's a thought, but why would they pick this particular set? I would expect they'd do that with a slightly bigger set, like the heavy hauler perhaps. Why do you think they'de pick this one?
  10. Terrific modification Alex! *y* Something TLC could've made. I think the two studs wider infact looks better than on the original. The original one looks a bit small for the truck in my eyes. It fits very well next to the cement mixer. I asume you used the bricks from the set to make this truck, but if not, do you have a picture with the original and the MOD next to each other? Good MOD!
  11. It appeared to be the finest rum. Contraband to be sincere, that's probably why they stored it in such ugly containers. :-) You wouldn't put "RUM" on crates you are smuggling would you?:-P
  12. Probably a load of magical gunpowder for POTC 4 to blow up a small ship in one blow. Isn't that obvious?
