  1. Did not like the first two episodes, but I know the show will get MUCH better.
  2. I don't think LEGO wants to take a chance on ROP sets. The show bombed real hard. Only 37% of its viewers finished the show. When doing a second season, you want to get at least most of your viewers back. That clearly won't be the case for ROP. It's also safe to assume that of the 37% that finished the show, a lot of them won't be back for season 2 either. I still think ROP sets would perform well no matter how bad the show is, but non-ROP sets are just lower hanging fruit and an easy slam dunk.
  3. Major future Star Wars plot/story leak. You have been warned:
  4. Major Star Wars franchise leak (not a LEGO leak) but probably affects LEGO Star Wars collectors. This is a major spoiler for future Star Wars content, so do not click if you don't want to be spoiled: I am not a professional leaker. I have no "leaker" history, so you don't need to waste time researching if I am a reliable leaker. I may leak more down the road, but the information I have been sitting on is all specific to Disney and NOT LEGO. I have information on other stuff as it pertains to Star Wars, but the other info I have has far less proximity to LEGO Star Wars. I doubt any of you will believe me, but hopefully this post remains so it can be part of my leaker history archive for anything else I divulge down the road.
  5. It's a prototype. That's how prototypes look.
  6. So for anyone CONSIDERING the Yavin set, and I know there has been jokes about it being "4+," but the 4+ A-Wing set (75247) pairs exceptionally well with Yavin and would make for an AMAZING gift combo for a kid. The A-Wing is in scale with the Y-wing and the A-wing still looks great at the 4+ scale. It also helps establish a "fleet" for Yavin and gives you a green rebel pilot, which helps round out the population of different rebels at the base. It even comes with a small Yavin side build. I just bought me the 4+ A-wing set a few days ago, and they are still relatively cheap. IMO, buy now if you are getting Yavin.
  7. You're going to see some core sets in the Fall season. Example, Jay's Titan Mech should make an appearance in season 2. Or at least the end of Season 1. Same with with the Ice Dragon Creature. So an entire Dragon Rising wave, a modular, an $80 and $100 core sets that are part of Dragon Rising is a lot. We will probably see a winter Dragon Rising wave, but it will be smaller. There wouldn't be another heavy hitter on par with the Destiny Bounty in that wave.
  8. Not sure if this has been mentioned or if it has been discussed, but it is regarding the connection of the City Gardens and City Markets. If you have the City Gardens ONLY. It looks like one of the ways to connect the two sets is to have the City Gardens be on the RIGHT side of the City Markets, and then using the pins to collect the Shrine (the side build of the City Gardens), to the left of the City Markets. I analyzed the pictures and this will work and the flow of the light bluish gray pieces that mimic cement/concrete/stone will flow in a way that makes sense. I think this would be the configuration that looks best overall because, for the City Gardens, I think it is best to have the tallest, teal structure in the background, not the foreground of the set. There is one other configuration possible, but it would require the City Gardens' teal structure be in the foreground, For this other configuration, the City Gardens would have to be on the left of the City Markets. But since the City Gardens only has one connection point, the City Gardens would have to be rotated so that the teal structure is in the foreground. Not idea IMO because it messes up full-set visibility. You can then move the shrine to the right of City Markets. I will say, I remember seeing official images of LEGO connecting City Gardens to the Left of City Markets and then they just left the shrine, unconnected, off to the side. It caused some to think there were incompatibility issues. I can't find that picture anymore, as if LEGO removed it. I do not consider that layout to be ideal. Again, all this is based off of pictures. I own City Gardens but have not build it yet. But the first configuration I mention above should work.
  9. I like the Dragon Temple a lot. Not a fan of the Bounty. The Bounty looks great; however, my issue is that the ship's design makes it impossible to walk from one end of the ship to the other. This is an issue that sort of jumps out at you and is hard for my brain to ignore. Shame. Once again, Cole either gets nothing, or nothing good.
  10. I did not know any details. When the information was revealed to me I actually did not care for Ninjago. But the set was for sure done at least two or three years ago (maybe more).
  11. Apparently Ninjago City Apartments is scheduled to be released in 2025 or 2026. Another modular for Ninjago. It's quite possible the set is already completed. I actually personally knew about City Market for a couple years. I just never leaked the information (I would not be believed anyway). The set had been done for a little while actually. My guess is LEGO waited till now to release City Market because they wanted to include a couple figs from the new series (that's just conjecture on my part).
  12. I'm actually a big fan of AT-ST's. The problem is that LEGO's AT-ST models are too big. I still think, to this day, the best one LEGO has ever made is the one from set 8038. I have that one and plan to put up free instructions showing how I modified mine to make it look far more realistic. And yes, it has retained its play feature and is stable up to LEGO standards. I can post pictures if you're interest. All the modifications were made above the waist. The legs are, I think, as good as can be done for the scale while also maintaining sturdiness. All At-St's since have been too huge and the legs don't look like chicken legs. They're mostly perpendicular. If you're not interested in an 8038 AT-ST or a modded version of it, I suggest waiting. I'm sure LEGO will get it right, some day. Ideally, they'd make a modern version of the 8038 and not price it so high. A great entry level set. Or someone like the 501st Battle Pack or Republic Fighter tank. That's where it's piece count should be.
  13. So I am looking to trade my SEALED Mos Eisley Cantina set (75290). The box looks close to PERFECT. Very rare for a set this big. I am also trading the Medieval Blacksmith set (21325). The box is in very good shape, but the Mos Eisley set's box is better. So if you happen to be looking for a perfect box for the Mos Eisley set, you're not going to find it at the LEGO store. All their stuff often arrives damaged. I got lucky with this one. Below are the sets on my wanted list. I am hoping to trade for some combination of the sets below so that I can allocate my budget to the new Ninjago City set coming out later. These are the sealed sets on my wanted list: AT-TE (75337) Republic Fighter Tank (75342) General Grievous's Starfighter (set 75286) Lloyd's Golden Ultra Dragon (71774) Kai's Golden Dragon Raider (71773) The Crystal King Temple (71771) Nya's Samurai X Mech (71775) Cole's Dragon Cruiser (71769) Jay and Nya's Race Car Evo (71776) Also, I am in Los Angeles (Burbank specifically) and prefer to do an in person trade to avoid scams. Edit: I would trade the sealed Medieval Blacksmith for General Grievous's Starfighter 1 for 1.
  14. Yeah, though I do not think we get that Y Wing this year. The Y wing will probably see plenty of action deeper in to this saga of shows or whatever you want to call it. In any case, a Zeb figure down the road is a lock.
  15. My guess is that Zeb get's a Y Wing set. I think that Y Wing we see landing near the beginning is intended to be his. The timing of the Y Wing landing and when he walks in to the pub seem to align pretty well.
  16. They waited to drop the leaks on April 1st on purpose to cause armageddon. Also, there is an instagram channel called FakeLegoLeaks. He only does bogus LEGO leaks. He posted these leaks today. A commenter said "you only post fake LEGO leaks, But today is April fools, so is the trick getting us to believe that a REAL leak is fake?” And FakeLegoLeaks admitted that's what he was doing. The most sketchy part of these "leaks" to me is a Captain vaughn. Though if that leak is true, perhaps we get 332nd troopers in the swamp speeder? Would be cool. Also, putting Captain Rex in a $650 set is totally believable. Which makes him unattainable for me. I'm actually torn on these "leaks." Once I heard that Captain Rex would be in a $650 set, I was upset and, on the balance, probably want these leaks to not be true. With that said, I totally understand why someone spending $650 on a set would want something exclusive.
  17. LEGO seriously needs to spice things up with Star Wars. They have really mastered buildable dragons with Ninjago. Cloth wings, non-cloth wings, 6 legs, four heads, you name it; LEGO can do it all. LEGO needs to make a buildable Mythosaur. It's the set you all never knew you needed. Shouldn't be too bad because, from what I can tell, a mythosaur sort of looks like a dragon without wings. They do have the molds needed to make the horns. If you look at the Ninjago Ultra Dragon review by Jang, he removes the wings to show you that the beast still looks complete. A mythosaur can be done and it can look great.
  18. He is not a Star Wars leaker. He leaks Disney info in general (if it matters). As for retcon of the sequels. They have to be retconned. Not because they are bad. You don't retcon something just because it is bad. You retcon because there is a fatal flaw. The sequels have a fatal flaw and a retcon of sorts is required. The issue is that Palpatine never should have been revived (if you want to call it that). That is a fatal flaw and needs to be corrected somehow. If they want to blow up the entirety of the sequels to do that, then so be it. Palpatine's revival creates a catastrophic problem for Episodes 1 through 6. I also personally know that there have been talks to rebrand Galaxy's edge at Disneyland and Disney World. My guess now is Navarro.
  19. He is batting 100 with his leaks so far, which is all that matters. Getting emotional about a leak you don't want to believe because you calculate it to be impossible is meaningless. As is your gripe with who Pasha affiliates with. Pasha could be a serial killer and still leak accurate information from Disney.
  20. Then buy it now. The price will quintuple by early next year once people realize we will never get "Sequel Trilogy" stuff ever again. This includes anything that has to do with Kylo Ren. How do I know? Per Kamran Pasha's patreon (he's promobricks of Disney leaks, but even more reliable) the sequel trilogy is going to become "irrelevant" for lack of a better term. The Mando/Ahsoka shows are working toward changing the franchise's future (lore-wise). Watch the intro to Mando Season 3, Episode 1. Kylo Ren's helmet was deleted from that intro we see that scrolls through all the heads and helmets of every prominent Star Wars character. We see Bo Katan. But Kylo is gone. This is Jon Favreau's subtle way of putting us all on notice. The Ahsoka show is going to cement this. It will soon no longer be accurate to refer to the movies with Kylo as a "sequel trilogy." And from what I have personally heard, there is an idea to rebrand Galaxy's edge into a setting from the Mandalorian. Further proof that the sequels are dead. My guess would be Navarro. Nothing official here though. Happy hunting.
  21. Sound logic. It is not a wild conclusion. It is completely feasible for the info leaks on a LotR D2C having been “lost in translation” and we get a Barad-Dur instead of Rivendell. And again, the implications were that there are pictures of Barad-Dur before Rivendell pictures (someone said you had seen pictures). Ok. Fine. It’s not bizarre, in and of it self, to have tangible evidence of a Barad-dur set before Rivendell even though we may get a Rivendell set first. However, you’re defense is “well it could be a 2024 release.” That makes it strange. I don’t need to come to anyone’s defense, but Balrogofmorgoth was not wrong in his interpretations of the leaks (if the leaks are true). And that’s the other thing, these are estimations, not conclusions. It is also reasonable to estimate that Barad-Dur would release soon, or before Rivendell, with there being pictures… In January. It’s January. Again… January. Barad-dur being released in 2024 makes much more sense, should LEGO decide to release such a set. But given the information from another poster about what you saw, it suggests a 2023 release. A 2023 Rivendell AND Barad-dur (which would at most be 7 months apart) is not believable unless one of them is system scale. I hope this walkthrough of logic helped.
  22. Yeah, you definitely don't know about the pipeline. LEGO said they had completed the MBS Mos Eisley Cantina YEARS before release. And the newly leaked Ninjago City Markets set I personally know was completed AT LEAST two years ago. You really don't know about pipeline. Some sets take several years, as they actually start as passion projects. Some sets are designed in as little as six months. Again, you 100% do not know about the pipeline. Many LEGO employees can't even confirm the pipeline. A set leak is NOT the same as a pipeline. And lastly, making LotR exclusively an 18+ line makes zero sense, unless the licensor was convinced that sets aimed at younger audiences would not elevate the LotR franchise, which is unlikely. Everyone knows that toys are driven by children, even if it's adults that are buying them. The sales numbers for LotR last time were impeded by a not very popular Hobbit trilogy and the fact that they released and ended the line in the second half of the worst economic recession in our lifetime. Literally, people without jobs and people with jobs that are afraid they will lose their jobs won't buy LEGO. With all that said, it is hard to imagine LotR staying exclusively as an 18+ line. If there are two UCS-sized sets coming out, I think that serves as a good omen for smaller sets. Example, the UCS At-At. You need like 8 snow trooper battle packs for that thing just like you'd need to find a way to get more orc for Barad-Dur. This is what I mean when 18+ sets and sets for kids piggy back off each other. And licensors of big IP's highly value exposing their franchises to children.
  23. I feel indifferent about your previous post. I just could not make sense of your defensiveness. I think I was on the verge of it, but then you made the "fanboy" comment.
  24. Looks like you quoted the wrong post in your reply.
