Yeah, lego is pretty popular in Japan. They even get their own buckets different from ours. I bought one in the famous Bic Camera stores (a bit like Media Markt in europe but also with toys). It was only 19 euros for 466 part bucket including a round tree and two figs and one of those pizzeria umbrellas. The bucket also includes a piece that is unavailable in any other set: This wheel in red! according to BL this doesn't even exist :) How is that for coolness! this is the set. I should really upload his inventory to peeron, but god I am lazy.

The reason why stores put in more mega bloks is because it has a higher profit margin. that is all. Here in Belgium we don't see much MB except on sale in those outlet stores. Sadly one of those great outlet stores (Kruidvat) always used to have great lego deals and now only has great MB deals. But you must consider this a good thing, this only mean that TLC has no more left-over stock that they need to dump on the market. Whilst Mega Brands seem to have plenty.

I would love to see some more details it looks a little plain to me!

I work in a toyshop and on thursday with got a new box of set 7245's and now all the stickers are blue instead of green/black. This deffo means that the colours of the entire police team will change to blue.

For me personally ecerthing that has stud compabilty ANDhas the same quality as official LEO is OK with me. For example the brickforge stuff is perfectly fine by me ,but MEGA Bloks isn't. I would use those oxford bricks without issues if I ever find some

Thank you all for the nice comments: @simon: I only use 12v, but I love the look of 9v wheels, they work perfectly on 12v track. (if you look closely the BNSF has a 12v motor) @holodoc:yes, you only need one 4654 it includes all six chrome pieces and also the three steeringwheels on top. The rest of the set is pretty useless :(. I paid 12.49 for this set (original price was 24,99) although lugnet says it is only $15. :-| . @freddie: No I have not covered up the yellow sides and I don't mind either. I think it should be possible with rounded bricks. Dudes, don't forget that the red car is actually by James Mathis, I just modified it ;)

Today I spend the whole day playing with my LEGO. Yay! I made three different types of train wagons, these are the first that I want to show to the world! This one is based upon the model from the 10183 UTB. The main difference is that I made it one stud higher so that I can fit minifigs inside! I placed the lego logo in the middle because I think it ooks good. Other changes are purely because the bricks are already in another model. The next one I made is an gasoline tanker from the brand Octan. The chrome pieces are the only reason to ever buy a 4+ jack stone set :). They come from set n� 4654 and are only included in this set. I found this one in a local shop, half priced :'-) . I've been looking for this set ever since I saw scaneli's tanker who used these parts. And last but not least is my boxcar, I'm very proud of this one, it is the first time I've been able to use SNOT in a non sucky way. As much as I hate MM, it actually sells pretty well in the store I work at, kids love it and snap it up. The same people that buy exo force also buy MM. For me TLC is doing strange things on one hand it is killing of the thing most AFOLS love dearly 9v and on the other hand it is trying to butter them all up by giving us things like the 10183 and stuff.

I absolutely adore it :) I love the way it all kinda fits together. Especially the industrial part I've been working on soemthing like this aswell but mor 1920 but it absolutly doesn't look as coherent.

Hi Jeramy, I bought the first issue in print and absolutly loved it. I'll surely buy the second one aswell. more plans using the 10183 are always welcome :)

Once again time to revive a thread: I got my 10183 last week, and after being very dissapointed with getting the actual plans, I must say that the models I built are all great. It is almost impossible to built two or three models with the included bricks, mainly small type of bricks should have been doubled in numbers. Like lightsaber rods and 1X1 plates with hinges. I have built these three models with 40 or so extra parts from my own collection. But I really love the way it looks. It is the ultimate creator set and I think it should have been promoted that way. Lego really missed the ball with the LDD2.0 plans, I think they are missing a whole lot of sales because of this.
