This Lions-Eagles game is a spectacle! We're calling it the Blizzard Bowl around the house.

My power is back on and I will be posting regularly again. Jess roared a challenge and lunged at Viking Whelp C from the front row.

Alright, power is back on, should be able to post regularly again.

Ragnarök Now Redux - Confirmation & Discussion

I appreciate you letting me play! I truly am sorry for my bad performance and quick exit. -
Alright everyone, I have a bit of news regarding my activity for the next few days-weeks. I'm about to be buried under some wintry weather, and will most likely lose power. The storm is looking pretty bad, so it could be up to two weeks like the storm in '09 before I get power back. So, Zepher and CallMePie, I may well not be able to post at all for up to two weeks. I understand if you need to find a replacement hero, but if it's at all possible, would you mind if Haldor/Scorpiox controlled Jess in the event of a battle if we're all still together, and then let Hoke/UsernameMDM control Jess if we separate back into our individual quests? I'd love to continue on these quests, inclement weather is just forcing me to take a 1-14 day break from the internet. Thank you!

Ragnarök Now Redux - Confirmation & Discussion

Okay y'all, I'm getting a lot of wintry weather in the area starting today and without an end in sight. I've been running around all day preparing, and I will most likely lose power soon. I'm not sure when it will be back on. If it's as bad as the storm we had back in '09, then I won't have power for two weeks. It's not looking quite that bad just yet, but I'm preparing for the worst. I'm sorry for my inactivity today, and I regret to say that it will probably not be any better for a while. So if that's enough for a mod-kill I understand, go ahead and do that if you must, TinyPies. I'm sorry for a disappointing performance this go-round. -
"More witches!"

I am incredibly jealous right now, just so you know. I'd love to go to a Chiefs game at Arrowhead given the chance! Enjoy the game, it should be a great one!

Jess smiled at her first round victory. Barbarian Knight Mage Rogue Cleric Ranger
-
That's true. If they drafted a QB, I think they'd have a complete turnaround next year. I'm actually excited for their matchup with the Donkeys; it could get very interesting.
-
Jess put down 30 gold and thought a moment on the battle order. "Hm..." Knight Ranger Barbarian Rogue Cleric Mage
-
Jess watched the game with interest. "Could you play two at once by any chance?"

The Texans may have a terrible record, but I don't believe that their record indicates their ability. They're a very good team, they just can't seem to finish in games. They only lost to the Seahawks by three, the Chiefs by one, the Colts by three, the Cardinals by three, and the Patriots by three. The Texans could easily be a 7-5 or 8-4 team if they knew how to finish. I believe that they could have an outstanding year next year, just like the Chiefs have this year. 2-14 to 9-3; I could easily see the Texans doing the same.
-
Jess raised an inquisitive eyebrow at the statement. "Care to elaborate on that a tad?"
-
Jess laughed and gave a sympathetic look toward Haldor. "There, there my dear. We'll be in Baltarok before you know it!" Jess then turned her attention to Olmstyr. "What can you tell me about Vim-Lhzar and its kidnapped leader?"

Ragnarök Now Redux - Nights (Players Only)

Sigrid looked up at the sound of her name. Smiling for once, she passed the mead to her fellow fallen hero. -
5525 Amusement Park, easily. It was my last RA review before Gold, so I was taking pictures every ten or twenty steps and taking my sweet time making sure everything was perfect for the review. It's unfortunate that it turned out to be such a mediocre set.

Sigrid grabbed a mead and took a seat. "Crazy day," Sigrid thought. "Perhaps I should break my oath. This bid for revenge is going to get me killed, for Odin's sake." Sigrid shook her head in frustration, and took another swig. "Or I could get over this writer's cramp and contribute more. Or try to. They're all right, you're being worthless. Get your megablocks in gear, woman." -
I know it's early and they just started, but I have a feeling that these Baltarok quests are gonna be one hell of a way to get back into Heroica.
-
Jess suppressed a squeal when she saw Haldor. "Haldor! So good to see you! Are you as excited to quest together after all as I am?"
-
Sigrid found herself a piece of paper and began to write. What exactly am I supposed to do? I don't see any evidence to convict anyone at this time. It's the first day. Give me some evidence and I'll be of more use.

Jess just sold the Sword of the Vampir in the hall for 170 gold before leaving, so her gold is up to 176 and she shouldn't have the sword in her inventory. Jess jumped as the little creature appeared, then regained her composure and spoke. "Hello... Gocklo? Is that correct? Nice to meet you. If you don't mind me asking... What exactly are you? I understand the witch hunter bit, but what species are you?"
-
OOC: D'oh! Sigrid reconsidered her vote, and decided that there simply wasn't enough evidence that she was comfortable with to vote for anyone today. Unvote: Mist (Mencot)
-
Jess read Haldor's note, sighed, then perked up when she saw that she had been selected for a quest herself. Hopefully I'll see Haldor again soon, Jess thought to herself as she sat back down for another drink. "Sure, it's not doing me any good sitting in my bag." Jess accepts Arthur's author of 170 gold for the Sword of the Vampir.
-
Sigrid sat and listened to the events of the day unfold, her brow furrowing more and more as time went on. She didn't really want to vote for anyone, but one stood out as the most odd to her. So, she wrote down her vote on a slip of paper and passed it toward the front of the hall. Vote: Mist (Mencot)
