^This is probably it. When I'm mobile, it always shows me as "online". You might want to go check that. EDIT: Whoops, you replied a split second before I did. I don't know why, then. -
Heroica RPG - Quest #28: The Breakthrough
Sisco replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
Jess growled as she failed to score a good hit on the Jinn for the second time in a row. "I'll freaking kill you, Jinn!" Jess attacked the same target. -
Heroica RPG - Quest #28: The Breakthrough

Jess began to look up in concern at Haldor, then caught herself with a grimace. No Jess. Just... No. Shaking her head, Jess yelled "You're going to Hell, Jinn!" Jess attacked the same target. -
I think that the only reason he mentioned that special is because WBD has an enemy in quest 28 that can do that.
-
Elaborate please? I personally think it's a decent idea. He's right about a lot of us soon being overflowed with artifacts.
-
Thank you so much for introducing me to them. I've been wanting some epic music for a while, and they satisfy.
-
Wow, I definitely don't see that in Arkansas.

"Alright Boomingham, I'll take your advice and attack the Topaz Jinn from the Front Row." -
Heroica RPG - Quest #28: The Breakthrough

Jess thought about it for a few moments, unsure of what to do. "I agree with Docken. Take him alive and bring him to the Town Watch." -
Yay, my quest inspired future quests!

Yeah, I totally called that. 4-0? Yeah...

Oh goodness, here we go... What the character loves: Gold, Haldor, the death of her enemies. What the character hates: The Wolfgang, goodie two-shoes, Wren. what the character fears: Losing Haldor to the Wolfgang, losing Haldor in general, Wren. What the character believes: Sylvania the nature goddess, Fate. What the character values: Gold, Haldor What the character wants: To clean up her act somewhat, to eventually settle with Haldor. What the character knows about: Gold, Haldor, death. People who made a difference in the character's life: Wren, Haldor, Rhunon (Elven swordsmith who created Blohdhurm) Discoveries that made a difference in the character's life: Wren's nature, Haldor's alliance with the Wolfgang Decisions that made a difference in the character's life: Going on the first Wren quest, agreeing to be with Haldor. And that's about it.

That, my friend, is a beautiful cake. I'm jealous! You have a wonderful sister.

I feel the same way you two do. It'd be nice to watch Spain be defeated (even though I expect them to beat Italy at least 2-0), but I wouldn't care much if Spain won. I was rooting for Germany, but that's obviously not going to happen now.

Heroica RPG - Quest #28: The Breakthrough

"Yes, I'm ready to go..." Jess's face was downcast as she walked away with the group. She saw Haldor look over at her, but Jess just kept walking, staring at her feet as she exited. -
2-nil Italy at half? Wow, I never saw that coming. As much as I support the German national team, Italy has just been playing better than Germany. Bonatelli Balotelli especially. (I'm awful with names. )
-
Oooh... Looks like the penalties screwed England over again. Sorry, bud.

No one ever said we were a nice community. We just normally don't like smartasses and self-promoters here. Make a few quality posts and work on your grammar, then we'll talk.

Let me see if I can find the PM conversation to see exactly what Jess said... Well here's exactly what Wren said: (AKA some awesome Wren RPing by Zeph) And Jess said:

Heroica RPG - Quest #28: The Breakthrough
Sisco replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
Jess felt Haldor tugging on her, trying to bring her closer. Jess still held firm. She didn't know what she could or would say to him. Jess just wanted a small time to think, and Haldor was rushing her. -
Yes, there wasn't really any reason to watch it. Both teams played rather dirty, and the score wasn't until 75-85 minutes in. There were several injuries and several more "injuries", along with an almost-fight in the 20th minute before a corner kick between (I think) Ronaldo and a Czech defender. (I think it was) Ronaldo took a massive flop on that. Overall a very boring match. I'm definitely looking forward to the Germany-Greece game more. Go Deutschland!
-
Yup, because that just happened. I was rooting for the Czech myself, though. But honestly, it was a very sloppy game for both teams. Two yellow cards back to back for Portugal, multiple injuries, quite a few flops, some pretty rough play, bad referees... I didn't enjoy watching this game. Portugal didn't really deserve the win, but neither did the Czech Republic.
-
Yes, I would much rather have watched Ukraine and England in the Quarterfinals than France and England.
-
True, but you have to think about momentum. If Ukraine's goal had counted, who's to say that the momentum wouldn't have pushed them to score again and beat England?
-
Spectacular game for the Swedes against France! They dominated the entire game, and really deserved the 2-0 win. Too bad they biffed their first two games. The England-Ukraine game was alright. A bit of bad officiating with that goal Ukraine should've had. I grew bored after Rooney's goal.
