  1. Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd. His skin was pale and his eye was odd. He shaved the faces of gentlemen who never thereafter were heard of again. He trod a path that few have trod did Sweeney Todd the demon barber of fleet street. He kept a shop in London town. Of fancy clients and good renown and what if none of their souls were saved they went to their maker impecably shaved. By Sweeney, by Sweeney Todd the demon barber of fleet street. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/AgentNickWolfe/mocs/SweneyTodd/sweeneytodd3.jpg Swing your razor wide! Sweeney, hold it to the skies. Freely flows the blood of those who moralize. 2. I drew inspiration for this from an entry in the win a minifig contest, but I embellished it. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to resize the pics, and I wanted to upload them before halloween, hope you like it.
  3. Fantastic, I particularly like Bill, but Percy is supposed to have horn rimmed glasses, not that the movie would do that detail justice, but it would have added to his character.
  4. Cute, some more clutter would have been nice, to capture the look of the room of requirement, but cool. Is that the lost diadem I spy? I never knew Ravenclaw was such a Lucas fan.
  5. May I ask why exactly?
  6. Great review. I do believe Snape's hair does a good job of capturing his look in Deathly Hallows, during which, he grows his hair out. And I think that a lot of the new HP series is based partly on the books. And, for the record, the designers got the astronomy tower wrong, it's supposed to be the tallest tower at Hogwarts, placing it as the huge cote tower with the three spikes on it. I really wish lego would start fact checking.
  7. is most likely upside-down at the moment.

  8. I do believe that Luna Lovegood is a much bigger, and by no account "side," Ravenclaw character than Cho Chang. And Cedric Diggory, as much as I despise Robert Pattinson, deserves a minifig, as he and a very big role in GoF, and never was blessed with one in the original GoF line. And anyone who has read the 7th book knows very well how big a part Ravenclaws play. Lego would make an even smarter business to true Potter fans, there are a truly great number of them. If they released sets that just had minor, or major students, a lot of people would buy a lot of these sets. Who on this forum would buy one or more of those of those if released?
  9. It's ok, you don't suck that much. Oops, didn't see that.
  10. You have a charming outlook on life and LEGOs.
  11. No one caught this? Really? You are all sucky Harry Potter fans to not realize that in the second quiddich set, it's a RAVENCLAW tower, not Hufflepuff. I've had to correct this before. The lego catalogue got it wrong too. I voted for all the new ones, except the train (motorized), and the hut (second rendition).
  12. For all you people who want a review of the train, I just got it, but I'm saving it for this four day weekend, so I'll post some pics when I open it, if a review doesn't pop up before then. And the great hall size is correct in correspondence with the clock tower, the astronomy tower, however is not. You should trust me, I know everything about Harry Potter. And, @Big Brick, I feel that the first castle was pretty good, except the roof. The third one is ugly, but is forgiven for Hogwarts MOC potential and figures. I only need Hogwarts castle and Hagrid's hut now, but i don't know if I'll get Hagrid's. And the Lego group probably is waiting for the release of the seventh movie to promote these sets. I wonder why they won't release the Diagon Alley at christmas, It'd be right after the new movie, so hype would be up, and then a huge holiday that people tend to buy gifts at, it just seems stupid. Is that it? Yeah that's it.
  13. I didn't really buy it, but yesterday was my birthday and I got the new Burrow, Quiddich, and Dobby Harry potter sets.
  14. Saints all the way. Close win, today.
  15. I'll vote for: 23) Vampire Entry (Build by Darkblane) 36) Vampire Entry (Build by squiz) 43) Mime Artist Entry (Build by L-space) I love vampires, and discworld.
  16. Now that people have began to get their alternate Burrow instructions, could someone post a picture of the finished product? I really want to see if it's any good.
  17. I really want this set. I may even get two, so that I cam have bigger top floors and make the whole thing taller. The figures are simply gorgeous, bit I do agree Bella should have had the pout on her reverse side head. I also agree with you on the subject of the Half Blood Prince film, a lot of people dislike the film, but I think it's the best one to date.
  18. Snape looks like he's waving at someone behind me.
  19. Since when is Draco a Gryffindor? Lego never fact checks. It's common knowledge.
  20. No, that should be the correct price. I can afford that price. That is a good price.
  21. But having LEGOs are much more fun for when you have them.
  22. I loved this set when I got it, then my dog ate the mummy.
  23. I'm feeling really good right now, combined with my perfect classes at school, inclusion in two school plays, the Harry Potter sets coming out just before my birthday make me think that my life is running on perfect! I'm really hoping for Hogwarts and the Burrow/ Express for my birthday. Then I'll get Quiddich and Dobby myself, since my job starts back up tomorrow.
  24. Go Harry Potter month!!! Fantastic Idea! There are no words to describe how much I want this month, so I'll use smilies.
  25. I found series one at my local Borders book store and haven't been down too recently, i'll be checking for them this weekend. I want that vampire!
