  1. If any of you want any of your attachments in cad (mlcad-> lpub) drop me a pm or reply to this, make sure you take some clear pics for me though. and dont make the mods or attachments to big.
  2. The best thing you can do is get in touch with lego customer service: 1-800-838-9647 if you like on the US.
  3. I have mlcad 3.3 (2011) edition and need help installing part files to the ldraw library it says i got new parts but there is no actual new part visible. Here is were i have put the filles : mlcad : E - program files Offical: E: - program files (ran mklist ) unoffical - ldraw - p in p folder parts in parts folder ( both in mlcad) I think i tryed puting the offical files in the p and parts folders but nothing happened. Basically i need to add all the new smooth panel parts to mlcad ,i managed to install these parts separately and it kind of worked put the parts are incomplete,it says such and such .dat file was not found.
  4. Yes it was thats how i use it,have you tryed the latest version?: Lsynth
  5. Have you tryind installing it on another drive , or c + 'program files'.
  6. Tim i agree with the above it is far easier running the axles to the la's through the arm remember that the middel of the u joint has to be were it pivots , do think sadly that you may need to rebuild your back arm , the la that moves the dipper is sticking out over the back of the boom, there is also no kink in the boom wre you would find one.But keep it up i see i will have to step up to the plate and build something else my self.
  7. It takes a will for some people to load the pics, i have radio broadband so it is all right with me but the moderators dont like it, the max size is 800x600 and so if thay see it thay will normally remove the pic and then nobody will see it.
  8. Tripletschiee please can you resize your pic as it is to big. Nice tow truck mod.
  9. Nice snow plow I particularly like the use of the Indonesia flag.
  10. Thankfully i still have not figured out how to add new parts to ldraw or how to make lpub support s3rd's parts You could do it like that or by a gear box to split the pto to the sliding mechanism,i think the size of a large turn table will be just two big but you could use one of these or make your one, you could even make if useing a small pneumatic ram.
  11. Pro's: 4 small pf motors 2 receivers 2 controllers 4 LA'S And a lot of usefull parts especially if you like making gearboxes. cons: £130 price The gear box takes up a lot of power i removed it and added another receiver and 2 more motors.
  12. He mean's how the attachment is driven of the pto were the attachment mounts to the unimog. I guess it is just a simple drive shaft geared as necessary. Here is a quick doodle on sr3d ( you did not mean you want all of it in cad?)
  13. Your pics are live tim mayby you could show us the gearing set up to the boom? Tim's Demolition excavator (8043 mod)
  14. He has made some interesting designs,i came across one of his models on youtube.
  15. Have you tryed useing a bit of string to help raise the boom, can you insert a pic of what ever you were trying so we can see it brickshelf will take a while for it to be moderated.
  16. Tim have you tryed gearing down the boom gearing, i use an xl motor in stead of the smaller pf motor.
  17. Tim you are better trying to ask Efferman he built a much better version of a cab riser.
  18. Thats nice to know,i am sure it will look great when finished.
  19. dam you spotted it i will call you sariel from now on.
  20. Your redesigned gearbox is a lot smaller and better.
  21. Nice spider Cereal athough am not sure what you were trying to do with that brush.
  22. Efferman i have to say I dont like the rear mud guards. and i am not to sure about the cab doors ether.
