    As usual, fantastic review WF, thank you very much! Overall I am very pleased with series 13. Even tough series 12 was good, s. 13 topped it!

    Thalion turned to Siercon, and answered in his usual, calm manner, "Indeed we have, for the Hand attempted to assassinate Duplovian king in order to prevent the peace treaty. As you have seen, they failed. But they are terrorists. They take great care to always use a phrase "freedom fighters" when addressing themselves, but there is no freedom in what they are doing, all of their actions are governed by Morcrass and other shadowy figures - who, at least in my opinion, have their own hidden agendas; however being drones as they are, they cannot see that. Also like every other terrorist in the world - they are fanatics, so they cannot be reasoned with." He turned to Delfrin Commander, "If you truly do not know who you are dealing with, I will leave you only my words and your judgement to decide who is at fault here and whom you should trust." He turns to the Norgh's commander, "Same goes for you, I will not try to persuade you to help us, but I will give you one chance to at least stand down and let us deal with the Hand." OOC: Sorry for the absence folks, its been a really busy week at work; but now the weekend is here and so am I!

    "Their leader goes by the name of Archer..." Thalion added, "They also have a frog priest and female rouge whose names I do not remember. Have you seen them by any chance?"

    "Are those not-guite-human looking tracks leading west, William?" Thalion asked pointing and heading in the west direction.

    Thalion hands out 25 gold to each hero, and tosses potion and venom, as well as one of his remedies to Siercon. "To replace what you used back there." "I will burn that frog priest when I catch him." Thalion says as he points towards the left mine shaft. Than he turns towards the party, "What do you say?"

    "Would somebody mind giving me a remedy, so I can keep this turncoat busy?" If someone uses a remedy on Thalion, he attacks Archer with darkness spell (twice), from back row; two times. If not, Thalion will use the remedy on himself and attack Archer with darkness spell (twice), from back row. Quellir and Dovanna repeat their attacks. Battle Order: William - Zabrak, back row Alexander - Taviak, back row Dovana - Mercenary A, front row Siercon - Remedy on Thalion back row Thalion - darkness spell at Arcer, twice, back row Thalion - darkness spell at Arcer, twice, back row Quellir - Mercenary B, back row OOC: Thalion should have 3 "x2" multipliers on his current attacks (dual cast, encouragement and darkness vs a humanoid enemy) so he should have dealt 324 damage on a "Hit", right?

    "For the moment, leave the Archer to me and focus on his cronies!", yells Thalion as concentrates on a large darkness vortex he is trying to summon underneath Archer. Thalion casts a darkness spell at The Archer (twice) from back row; two times. Dovanna attack Mercenary A from front row. Quellir attacks Mercenary B from back row.     Thalion drinks a Nostrum and Smelling Salts. "If that is the case, you have to be stopped right here and now!" He takes out Alpha and Omega and points them towards Archer.

    "You will recognize Alexander, of course, from our previous visit. And these are Siercon and William, also of Heroica. We are here to find out what is going on in these mines. On that matter, what do you know of it and what are you and your people doing here?"

    "Let me try to answer that and see if my memory serves me." Thalion turns to the person appearing to be a leader of the new group. "Archer?"

    (A rival group?!) Thalion thought to himself, before he turned to the Delfrin miners. "Alright, then I guess we have to pursue them. If are willing, you and Tim can come with us to track those people down." Thalion takes out his magic compass in an attempt to determine the way to the mercenaries.

    Thalion gestures at the four heroes, "We are from Heroica, I am Thalion Dwinlas, at your service. We were sent here to discover what is happening in these mines. And accompanying us are several Duplovians." Thalion gestures towards Quellir, Dovana and Eyric. "Is there anything you can tell us about what is going on here Bardrick? Tim?"

    Thalion approaches and frees the chained men. "No they have not. We have just been attacked by some mercenaries ourselves." Than he pauses and awaits for the answer to William's question.
