Called my Lego store today to ask if they had it for sale and if not when. They told me that Lego was recalling them because of quality issues and that they would not receive them until sometime in mid- to late September they anticipate. Has anyone else heard of this? It seems the ones that people have are fine. For those that have it, have you noticed anything about quality? Perhaps it was just a local batch, just found it odd since they seem to be sold in other places.

Those little stacks of 1x1 plates are supposed to represent Luke and Yoda?? That X-wing looks verrry similar to the one from this past Celebration...

Looks fun! Just needs him...

Wow great job! Love it...and supported! Would definitely buy this to go with the new Ferris Wheel. I like how it can be operated both manually and motorized. Nice work.

That was my first thought too...I never thought the windows were tinted, but looking back at some pictures, it seems like they were a bit. I would still like to see if anyone used trans-clear as a comparison though...

Forgive me if I've missed this, but is there any info/pictures on any Star Wars Celebration Anaheim exclusives? Whether it's along the lines of the past chibi sets, CubeDudes, or even exclusive minifigs, sets, etc??

Great review! Finished this yesterday. I noticed that all of the 1x1 black round plates were the new version with the hole through them. Even though they were only needed in a couple of places, like with the outside lights and with the tile piece on top, it was interesting that there were none of the regular versions since you didn't necessarily need this particular one for the doorknob, etc. Fun set and enjoyed the build.

They look fantastic - great display pieces. Love the name plates and bases too. $45 not a bad price for the three, though January is gonna be an expensive month :)

Lol, I am one of those.

And on a related note, do they not include tracking numbers with purchases? It seems with computer generated labels, that it would be an easy thing to do. All of my past orders still say "shipped." I've received most of my orders in a fairly timely manner, but a tracking number would seem to be a logical thing to give customers.

Well, sadly, for the first time ever, I had a set with missing pieces. Not just one, but 3! AND one piece that was the wrong plate size. I'm been buying Lego for many years and couldn't believe when I ordered the Haunted House that it was missing a few pieces. Oddly, all came from bag #5. Black slopes missing, and one bley plate for the roof top. Luckily I was able to make due with parts I had at home, but still frustrating...

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

Yes...go to www.brickshelf.com and search for a life size Darth Vader helmet by BrickitGood (maskatron). He has a parts list and instructions. He has some amazing sculptures (and mosaics). I've done the Boba Fett and Stormtrooper full size helmets and they were awesome. I'm bricklinking the parts for this Vader too. -
Has anyone tried modifying their Sandcrawler with power functions?? I'd really like to make it motorized when I pick one up. Just curious if anyone is thinking the same (seems like there would be enough room inside to add the PF components)???

Nice find...yeah will most likely get this to add to our winter village sets. Is that the same Santa as the CMF one??

Awesome! Great job!

I'd like to know too... Also, with the new gunners and their helmets, do they fit in the two chairs in the cannon in the Death Star playset?

Same as most other posts here, nothing new. Before the news of the Cantina I wanted: Walrusman (Ponda Baba), Hammerhead (Momaw Nadon), Snaggletooth, Wuhrer, Dr. Evazan, Garindan...and now.. After the news of the Cantina: Walrusman (Ponda Baba), Hammerhead (Momaw Nadon), Snaggletooth, Wuhrer, Dr. Evazan, Garindan...lol.

Have to agree. I guess I'm in the minority when it comes to some of the minifigs. I like Vader how he is, one helmet. Looks pretty good to me as it is, maybe it's just me. It seems like to many small detailed pieces as it becomes a mini action figure. But to each his own. So with the Bith's heads in the Cantina, hard plastic?

I've collected SW sigs over the years, in addition to LEGO, so one day I thought I would give it a shot. Got Bulloch to sign a 6x12 modified tile piece. Not sure how well figs look signed, but I remember a collector who used to get the 6x12 tile pieces signed as a display stand. They look pretty decent. But yeah, not a lot of crossover possibilities.

On the X-wing Microfighter, is that going to be a new droid? Or is that just the dome top only? Even if it is, still very cool sets - much more playable for the kids than the planet sets.

Perhaps they're using two capes to cover up his printed arms?!

Edit: wait, Boba Fett with leg printing? Wow. I know he's in the scene, but I think including Boba in the Skiff is a little overkill... A little overkill, perhaps - although overkill is putting him in the Hoth game!...But, I am excited about finally getting a chance to get an affordable printed Boba.
