  1. I think Clayface is the only character that I would prefer to be brick built. It would be awesome being able to build weapons or shapes onto him. Otherwise, he's too big for minifig size and after seeing Killer Croc's bigfig, I don't want another bad looking bigfig.
  2. Interesting. I wonder how "limited" this minifigure will be.
  3. X2 As long as this is a $30 set (or that price when on discount), I'll buy it.
  4. The set really is about what I expected. I like the jail cell and the doors and stairs, but I would have preferred to have no bat buggy in order to have a better pit. I don't know why Batman absolutely MUST have some sort of vehicle in every set. I will buy this though.
  5. I might be in the minority then because I like the cowl on armored Batman better than the new cowl. I'll probably buy the Ra's set just to get new characters (especially Ra's).
  6. X2!!! I would buy multiples, especially if there was a Knightfall variant.
  7. The Web Warrior Bridge Battle will be one of the few sets that I buy that I'll modify. It's just screaming for a blue baseplate.
  8. To each their own. Your idea isn't too bad. I'm just a purist though and almost never modify sets. I'm weird like that.
  9. For me, being that they don't have full sized legs means that I won't be buying the sets. It would be different if one or two figs had the mini legs, but not all of them.
  10. Too bad that's a fake because I think it looks pretty good. Can't wait to see more from the Ra's set.
  11. I don't think we've heard anything yet. Hopefully Ra's is in some kind of suit. I don't want him shirtless.
  12. I completely agree. It's refreshing to finally get some new characters in the Batman sets. For me personally, I'm only interested in Batman and Batman characters so the more rogues that we get from his gallery the better.
  13. I haven't seen anti-gas Batman either. Croc looks okay, but I'm a little underwhelmed. It's almost as if he could pass for Doomsday from the new BvS movie. Not a big fan of his vehicle either. I would have much preferred a sewer playset over that. Everything else looks amazing though. I already own the original Battank and I have two Batcopters, but I LOVE the new tank and the new Batcopter looks good. I will absolutely pick up these two sets despite my criticisms.
  14. The Kid, What did you think of how bigfig Killer Croc looked? Did you like it?
  15. Quite the year for new sets and pieces. I would LOVE to get a Ras and the Ventriloquist. The new DC set descriptions sound pretty good and I can't wait to see pic's of them. B:TAS style Scarecrow, now we're talking.
  16. I'm also happy to hear about Croc being a big fig. So, someone saw the catalog? What do the sets look like and what figures appear to be included?
  17. All of the info about this set is on the first post of this thread. Pics and details.
  18. Somehow I missed this. Thanks for the info though, it explains a lot.
  19. shaggysanchez, that list you gave was pretty eye opening. The biggest surprise was the comparison from the Simpsons House to this Batcave. For some odd reason I never payed attention to the piece count in that set. Regardless, that comparison alone shows what a licensed set with that many pieces should cost and look like. The '66 Batcave is by far the most disappointing set this year. You can't even blame the price or materials as the reason for the high cost considering how cheap oil has been since October 2014. Oh well I guess.
  20. It looks like most of the 2526 pieces are tiny, and with a footprint about the size of the Movie TMNT lair set, there is no value here. Now I want to see the Killer Croc and Scarecrow sets. Hopefully those turn out better.
