  1. Added a picture to my previous post.
  2. As english is not my first language I may have expressed my self badly. On the first picture you clearly see 4 grey guns from the main body. They are supposed to be black (and a different shape according to the outside of the box and the on-line picture). The same goes for the thin rods under the cockpit. They are also supposed to be the same as the other 4 guns (the ones found on up-link and others). My set came with substitute bricks for the 6 gun-barrels and erata instructions. These are the ones that I mean:
  3. Here's one straight from the on-line shop:
  4. One rebel to another: Only the Empire would be stupid enough to call a fighter a TIE, when it clearly looks more like a butterfly. *sweet*
  5. On the up side the legs for Meca One was included (which wasn't the case with the first batch). I guess I could order the replacements at Lego (maybe at no cost) since the box doesn't contain what was on the box, but it really bugs me to go to this kind of trouble.
  6. A fellow EF fan. *y* You are most welcome...
  7. If you look at the picture I posted you will notice that 6 six guns are replaced with other bricks. The two double lasers on the main body and the two lasers under Meca One's cockpit were replaced by alternative parts. (There were also erata instructions in the box) Sometimes Lego can't keep up with the number of bricks they are supposed to produce. Instead of waiting for the correct bricks, they simply swap the bricks with others. So in fact my SV is what came out of the box, rather than what was on the box (I have an Uplink with the same problem).
  8. A nice collection of Exo-minis you've got there. Maybe we could place pictures of our collections in this thread, if you don't mind?
  9. My car is a Huandai Accent, so I chose a picture of my company car instead: The Leopard 1A5 DK: It has a really bad mileage, but it's easy to find parking space. :-P
  10. Hello and welcome to EB.
  11. Just returned from Rhodes, and what a nice surprice. Thank's to everybody who voted for the Sentai Stinger and wow what a cloce race LV. Great competition. I'll for sure try to participate next time... Hmm. Looks like I the poll is still open, so a few more days would have given LV the win...
  12. We all get inspired by each other. It's quite ok. Actually it's been done (Ryo in a large bi-ped). I've seen some on brickshelf, but Iwant to make my own version. You go ahead and do the same...
  13. I think my next project will be a Micro Stealth Hunter. Although it could be fun to build a robot type. Until now I've only build human mecha MOCs.
  14. The trick is to hold a finger on the top of the launcher. The disc launcer on the robot mecha from the HQ is even worse. If you try to fire it, the robot comes apart. I got the SV too, but look at the sorry version I got: SIX guns were replaced by other bits. Very disappointing... >:-(
  15. I'm affraid not. The largest I saw was a size 9 years.
  16. That's perfectly ok. It's not stealing, it's "putting them to good use before they just lie around and start yellowing". So you're actually helping your son. Welcome :-) Thanks. BTW. I bought my stepson these shirts for compensation: He's more than happy with the deal. :-)
  17. Wow it's a close race... Good luck to everyone..
  18. Wow. Very helpfull information indeed. Always wondered what it did...
  19. Oh. Forgot my personal data. I'm 35 years old and live in Denmark. I served for 11 years in the Danish army. Mainly as a tank gunner (two trips to Bosnia). I live with my girlfriend and her 6 years old son (so he's sort of my stepson). Currently I'm studying to become a teacher.
  20. Thanks guys. I like it already... Yes. And luckily I just finished a Mountain Warrior (EF combo) and had some leftover parts (though I did steal some from my sons Lego-bin :-$ )
  21. I didn't notice this board before now... My name is Exo-Champ and I'm an AFOL. My favorite theme is... well no surprice there... Exo-Force I love the entire line, and it's because of EF that I regained my passion for Lego. I also like to MOC but haven't really made that many: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=189556 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=204486 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=204485 I'm also a passionate wargamer and I'm currently developing a wargame using the EF line. I call it Exo-Dice...
  22. Building instructions for the Micro Titan is up: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=204486
  23. Hello all. During the weekend me and some of my buddies got in a few games of Exo-Dice (my homemade game). Here's the forces pitched against each other: Gate Defender tries to outflank the robots supported by Stealth Hunter: Simon who played the humans got a little careless with the Stealth Hunter and it came under fire from 2/3 of the robot forces: Due to some bad dice rolling and being without the Support of the Stealth Hunter. The humans are cut down one by one: In the end, only Ryo stands against two Fighting Furys: We played 3 battles and the robots won 2. The forces were evenly matched and it was up to tactics and dice-rolls to determine the outcome.
  24. It's on now. Sorry for the delay, but I live in Denmark and you live in the US. So there's a diffenrence in time zones. I have to sleep sometimes. ;-) Good luck in the contest.
