Uff. Apart from the Iron Condor and the Claw Crusher, they look pretty awfull. :-X What happend? The 2006 sets are really so much better...
-
I'm Supernova all the way. I still don't have the BW vs WL, but what from what I read in reviews it's not a bad set either.
-
Sounds like an interresting project. I'll help you post if you have problems.
-
Yub-Yub burgers are in fact the Empires secret code word for "organic baby-food". Many Bothan spies have died for this information. Long live the rebellion.
-
Yes. You're quite right. It was just a little joke. :-)
-
I used the standard interview from the Lego news section. This way it feels more like an official E-F entry. Yes, her name is Jill. I used an on-line translator and chose the manga font. It's simple but looks quite nice. I'll see if can't dig up the link... EDIT: Here you go (only translate english names I think): http://www.japanesetranslator.co.uk/your-name-in-japanese/

That's awesome. They should include my new design. The Blue Walker: ;-)
-
In time I may add the older versions and your help would be very appreciated. Right now I'll concentrate on the models I actually can get hold of and use for testing.
-
Oh goody. I think I'm going to like this. I just said goody. :'-(
-
I think it's fine. Gives the Micro Nova a cartoon like feel, which is why I love E-F.

Hate the green Inika blobs and axlish necks?
EXO-CHAMP replied to Kahgarak's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I think I'll have to copy that idea for my Inika. Looks much better. -
You are most perceptive. These are the very ideas I'm working on. Actually I'm reading a lot of Bionicle "history", cartoons, etc. to get a feel of the universe first. Great stuff I might add. The usage system is actually spot on. Different powers will have different values. (I was actually thinking of changing the Heat system in E-D to a uasage system - it makes more sense - you're machine can only have so much power out-put).

I keep forgetting that. Sorry Natelite. BS folder added: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=210001

Cyclops Lancer JIRU PERSONALITY No non-sense, focused, cold. Jiru is in this for revenge. Not your average hot-headed kind though. Having her family killed by the robots has changed her. The other E-F members call her the ice queen behind her back, but Jiru doesn't care. She stays focused on getting the job done, and maybe some day rescue her sister. QUOTE "Oh, do shut up Ha-ya-to" FAVORITE BATTLE MACHINE Cyclops Lancer EXO-FORCE INTERVIEW: JIRU 2006-10-13 SENTAI MOUNTAIN (13 October 2006) -- We talked with EXO-FORCE pilot Jiru about her experiences and hopes for the future! QUESTION: What made you decide to be an EXO-FORCE pilot? JIRU: That's none of your business. QUESTION: What do you think is the most important quality an EXO-FORCE pilot can have? JIRU: You need to stay focused on the mission. Flying around, shooting your mouth off, is for cartoon heroes. This is war. QUESTION: What was your greatest moment in battle? JIRU: There are no great moments in battle. You do what you have to, in order to survive. And if you're really lucky, most of your team-mates make it home alive too. Who writes these questions anyway? QUESTION: Sensei Keiken says teamwork is extremely important. How do you feel about that? JIRU: The Sensei is right. Just don't get to close to your team-mates. They may be dead tomorrow and the job doesn't allow the luxury of feeling sorry. QUESTION: Who do you think will win the fight, the humans or the robots? JIRU: We will. The robots will be wiped from the face of the earth. QUESTION: Who do you think has the best battle machine? JIRU: I do. The Cyclops Lancer has more armour than the Grand Titan and out-guns any E-F machine ever build. The new Akagi missile system is highly effective, and the CL has rockets, two dual mounted machine cannons, a Laser Lance and an electro blade to back that up. When the missile system is ejected, the CL also has flight capability. That's all folks... BS folder with a few more pictures: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=210001

Oh no. The horror... :-X
-
Bah. It's all propaganda. Everybody knows that Darth Kitty only eats "picture of organic baby-food" :-D
-
That would work. *y*
-
Just curious. What are the ranges and movement stats generally like? Are the game for a table or the floor. I think I'll be hard pressed to fit my 17 inch Battleship into a table game.
-
There will be a point system, but for now the robots should outnumber the humans 2:1 if the machines are of equal size. I've fought battles using Grand Titan, Stealth Hunter, Uplink and Gate Defender vs. 2 x Thunder Fury, 2 x Fire Vulture and 4 x Sentry They were all good close games. Edit: Remember pictures of your battles for my web-site. ;-)

I for one, is looking forward to seeing your work. *y*
-
I'll be looking. Count on that. *sweet*

Join the good side Axle. Search your feelings, you know this to be.... Hey what's going on. Something's wrong. *wacko*
-
No. Never. It couldn't.... Ah, who am I kidding. That would be AWESOME. :-D Sorry about he fiction. I'm not a writer. And my english is a bit rusty...
-
Thanks. I'll be adding a Heavy Cruiser at some point (need more bricks). I forgot to mention that the fighter and the scorpion are modified versions of original classic-space. A tribute to the old days. *wub*

Thanks guys. It means a lot. I've designed a system, so anyone can join this alternative story-line for E-F. A) Choose a mini-fig. Hikaru, Ryo, Ha-ya-to, Takeshi TF2 or maybe the robots. B) Make a small vignette for him. C) Make a fighter for him. D) Make a vehicle or other small space vessel. (Yes, Mecha will do nicely). E) Starships:(length) 5-10 studs: Small escorts. 20 studs: Destroyer 30 studs: Cruiser 40 studs: Heavy Cruiser 50 studs: Battleship Weapons: Small: levers Medium: pins Large: 1x1 round Capital: look at the turret on Sentai Fortress. (can't remember the name).
