This set is £650 in the U.K. and €799 in Germany. At the moment £650 is €711. The set is nearly £90 cheaper in the U.K. Interesting.

Hi. With all the Christmas sets available do white base plates exist? I would like to make a snowy Christmas scene with them. If not would it be a good idea for Lego to make them? Jon

Consequences of the Brexit for buying Lego
jonty14 replied to Wardancer's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I bought the VW beetle in the Gateshead Metrocentre Lego shop. Because of the exchange rate at the moment it was cheaper than ordering it from the German Lego shop at home. Normally Lego in the UK was always more expensive than Germany. -
I think Brightbricks was involved in it. It is a very impressive model. You can also buy a Lego kit of the cathedral in the shop there. The kit is supplied by Brightbricks.

Hi. I just got this part in a Lego set at a Shell petrol station in Germany. It is set 40190 Ferrari F138. Has anyone used the pullback part in Lego City models? It seems a nice compact part. I might give it a go. Also is this part used in any other Lego sets apart from the Shell sets? Best regards Jon

Mine had the two tabs that you press in. I only keep the box for special sets. Must be different boxes in use for the same set. Strange. -
LEGO as souvenir - ever bought any?
jonty14 replied to LAKAbricks's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Just bought the Creator Ferrari set in England even if it would have been cheaper here in Germany. I saw it in the Lego shop in the Metrocentre and could not resist buying it straight away:-) -

Just opened mine. Got it at the Metrocentre in Gateshead UK. Shame you can't open the box without damaging it. A box with tape would have been much more practical. Can't wait to start building it though.
