MOC: Joint Security Area - North/South Korea
lightningtiger replied to Dreamweb's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Excellent work 'Dreamweb', sad but true that this is so real....the north and south are still technically....well,.....it would only take something bad to happen and would be on again ! The 38th parallel is the dividing line between them and back in 1953 it was only a truse signed between everyone involved. -
Monster Fighters 2012
lightningtiger replied to Darth Nihilus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Well, those figures are a breath of fresh air into this theme since those pictures weeks ago from Youtube. The human fighters look fantastic, I would like to know the backstory to them ? Plus the werewolf is the bomb, and yeah....they do look similar to the collectable minifigs eh ? Perhaps they try ideas for figures out there first before launching a new theme ? -
At least it looks better than MB but it's no Lego ! Haspro said last year more Kre-O was coming, so I guess to make money they'll take another board game, totally screw it over and try turning it into a cash cow. Since when did the game Battleship involve aliens ?.....ah, they must have read the Lucas book on canon ! Some of those parts did look familiar ?

Well, that's what MOC building is for, you fill in your own missing pieces to whatever you think is missing.

' DrNightmare ', F.A.B. ! This so looks Thunderbird-ish - fantastic digital designing there ' DrNightmare ' ! LDD On !
-
Seriously, 'davidbrisk' you said it yourself 'it's definitely over' and you are right....there are no more HP sets coming. And you can't compare HP to SW, the Star Wars universe is far larger than the Harry Potter one. Plus that font size ?
-
C & C 'Cale'....that's cute and cool at the same time, wonderful tree house and that tree for said house is simply beautiful. It's good to start seeing Friend's MOC's.....might try a few myself later in the year. Brick On with your Friend's 'Cale' !
-
Perfect office for Filch, nothing too fancy and chains....yep, that's Filch for you ! Great work 'BaraSH' and keep on casting spells !
-
Ah, yes I forgot to say about the ceiling clearance, mine had no celing....due to designer's choice ! Plus 'rriggs' is correct in his design so far everyone, small country dealers are very similar to his creation. Is there a fancy reception area going into ? Looking better every update 'rriggs' and Brick On Drive On ! P.S. the collectable minifig mechanic would be very handy for your workshop.

Another excellent piece of MOCing there 'Mrcool1804', you have been busy with those fire trucks eh ? Keep them coming and Brick On Fire Fight On 'Mrcool1804' ! -
That's forward thinking 'rriggs', now my Ford Dealership starts HERE and ends HERE.
-
AWESOME ladder truck 'Mrcool1804', great detailing right down to the pumps controls. Brick On Fire Fight On 'Mrcool1804' !
-
The last set until I get the forest police station off layby at BigW is 4208 fire truck.....got it from TC again....still 15% off !
-
Looking good 'rriggs', don't forget what I wrote the other day about asking Ford to use their oval logo especially if ever going to show it in public. Keep going and Brick On 'rriggs' ! Edit - you can borrow any idea from my two Ford Dealerships I have built in the past two years.
-
Not bad creation ' JackJonespaw ', very Slytherin indeed ! I'm also wondering why the first years are not wearing uniforms ? Anyway, great work and keep on casting spells ' JackJonespaw ' !

Aussie sales! Share the news of LOCAL sales!
lightningtiger replied to Darth_Legois's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Kmart doesn't want to be left out.... Lego city tipper truck, dirt bike transport, car and camper, garbage truck 25 bucks. Ninjago Jay's Storm Fighter 25 bucks also. Ninjago training set 24 bucks. Mini-creator sets 7 dollars, creator plane and motorbike 25 bucks each.....gee a lot for 25 bucks eh ? Edit - two page spread in the BigW catalogue has only their normal selling prices....trying to make people think they could be getting a bargain. -
Great looking winter building....I wonder how bikes go in snow though 'Darkblane' ! Good luck with your entry and Brick On in the snow !
-
That is an AWESOME vehicle 'Nexus7', looks perfect for fire fighting too ! Excellent designing there.....Brick On Drive On !

Thanks everyone for reading my review, I'm actually planning a re-shoot of the photos in the academy taught style so the images will be much clearer again.
-
Excellent old school classic town styled vehicle with modern racers styling 'Farnheim', man you love these 4 wides eh ? Great work and keep them coming 'Farnheim' !
-
Another review....you have been busy 'Tancred_de_Beauville', lighting issues sorry for saying it again....poor police officer was being blinded ! If I might suggest the first image be the completed model on it's own, followed by the breakdown of year, parts count, cost, then images of parts breakdown and instructions....these are things I've had to learn too. I must say very classic town this vehicle is.....now days this style has return in the advent calender and in poly bag sets....simple yet it does the job....except if it rains ! Brick On Review On 'Tancred_de_Beauville' !
-
Excellent modular 'Bernd', exterior inspired by the green grocer and market street by the looks of it. Interior fantastic, though a butcher's shop selling bread....well, you gotta shift with the times eh ? I like the fridge and freezer with merchandise in them ! Gee that butcher minifig is great right, going to have that character for my supermarket in my Aussie town I built last year. The doctor's rooms are nice and roomy....must make a killing to afford such a place eh ? Neat little downstairs feature of access to the butchers shop. Oh, yeah and you have to becareful around some nurses ! Brick On 'Bernd' !
-
Not bad review 'Tancred_de_Beauville', a scrub your parts do need though ! Lighting is not too bad here, still needs work.....hey, practice makes perfect as the old saying goes. This set has that neat brick-built engine, only 4 cylinder though...not an 8....I would MOC a bigger one with 12....oh, yeah ! Brick On Review On 'Tancred_de_Beauville' !
