Excellent mid-scale battle ship, great idea to use that Death Star sphere for the heart of the ship. Brick On 'trooper 278' !
-
Funny little vig there 'TimBurdon' , nice heavy duty lawnmower there too !
-
I thought I might share a tease photo for you on what the prototype building is leading towards. It's just a progress shot, this is 80% of stage 1 of a mega-MOC ordered by the good folks at BOC Gas U.K. updates later tomorrow.

Review: LotR 9469 Gandalf Arrives
lightningtiger replied to Captain BeerBeard's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks 'Captain Beerbeard', nice little review....now I was wondering how the sides of the cart go together....SNOT...good one Lego ! Another theme I must twist money out of my wallet for...even if it's just for this set, just for Gandalf alone ! Though I feel this theme will do better with AFOL's than young children, but you never know with kids these days. -
Cool looking starship 'J4ke' , the red decal sets it off totally....nice weapons and that's a huge scanning dish....a bit of an easy target eh ?

REVIEW : 9498 Saesee Tiin's Starfighter
lightningtiger replied to aayla-secura's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for a great review 'aayla-secura', I actually prefer this Jedi starfighter over all the others....more true to the series designed ships. Plus an exclusive minifig that is in the show for only two episodes before some beast kills him ! Pity they didn't included that beast ? I might twist my arm later in the year when a sale is on to buy one of these....might remodel all my other CW JSF craft to this styling...not sure yet. -
Greatest crossover MOC ever 'MOOD' , and the customs rock.....cool to see the Joker as a Sith Lord then ! AWESOME fusion of Bat-Wing and X-Wing.....it's almost too much.....I it !
-
That church is the bomb 'castor-troy'.....it's beautiful ! It totally fits the scene of the oldest part of your city.....keep up the AWESOME work and Brick On !
-
You know I haven't asked, though I think the garage is an exclusive.....though a funny thing mining truck 39.99 in the USA and 49.99 Oz...25% difference in price. But lets not scoot off topic over prices.
-
More interesting van designs from you 'vean', now some trade vans....plumber, builder, road side mechanic....then brick build them all perhaps ? Great work 'vean' and LDD On !
-
Again thank you 'GRogall' for those images of the giant dumper....brick-built dumper pan, I have the last one from 2005 and it does tend to flex too easy. I wonder if the driver with his hardhat with headlamp fits in the cab correctly ? Edit - Prices for Australia at S@H are up for garage at 149.99 and 89.99 helicopter rescue....but not available yet to buy.
-
Interesting digital design there 'Murdoch17' , pity they can't take a minifig. LDD On 'Murdoch17' !
-
You know what's missing.....a jack for the mechanic to change tyres with ?
-
Through my travels on-line that I found at S@H for some European countries both 4207 garage (99.99 Euro) and 4429 helicopter rescue (49.99 Euro) are up !
-
Congrats 'marshal_banana', I have already left a congrats message on Cuusoo for you.....then I thought better leave one here too ! I have good vibes for this, everything in it should get a green light.....they have done armed cow-folk before and of course saloon equals tavern....no problem there. We may see the return of the wild wild west !

Lego Polar Xxpress 2013
lightningtiger replied to legomilk's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
This suggested or rumoured new theme sounds interesting, first thing that came to my mind.....train, then I thought polar rescue, then good guys fighting an evil doctor trying to melt the polar ice caps.....then again I thought of something like Ice Road Truckers...yet again I might not be even close with any of them. I guess we will have to wait until later in the year.....you know Lego might just be reading what we write here to get fresh ideas ! -
Excellent copy of a real engine in Lego 'HenrikLego', great pantographs and catching all the right angles of the front of the engine too ! Brick On 'HenrikLego' !
-
Not bad digital creation, but shouldn't that black grille/screen on the front top section of cab being more leaning backward ? Going to brick build one ? Good work anyway 'LegoBobby' !
-
Thanks for this review 'iDave', great set but with that odd looking prime mover......99 bucks at TRU in Oz (though it's on sale this week for 79.99, but I have to have the money to buy it. ) Interesting choice of fire fighting vehicle, different don't see many of these in Oz....could be handy for fighting bush fires near bodies of water I guess.
-
Oh, I that kitchen.....white and lime green, same colours as my own ! Wonderful house design there 'MyLegoMamma', interesting use of colours and even more wonder furniture. Excellent work and I can't wait to see what you can up with next.
-
I like it, a fantastic copy of the real one in Lego 'M_longer' ! Detailed almost perfectly too, right down to an air horn (though the real one has two ). Brick On Truck On 'M_longer' !

Hey everyone it's Mel Brooks ! Now this talk about one minifig has thrown the topic right off track, has anyone considered that the female character in question could be the Samurai Warrior's wife ? Lego's thinking is that kids with take all these minifigs and build their own period buildings, or what ever to go with them. So take the samurai, the kimono girl(should be woman) then take a stack of Ninjago parts and build a period house with gardens - then presto a period Japanese scene. Sometimes as adults take a toy too seriously, Lego is balancing their principals with what children want....or be that marketing people thinking what children want (sometimes a huge fail).

Just check some Youtube clips showings 4207, it looks to be dark bluey grey base plates.

eBay user sells instructions for other builder's MOCs
lightningtiger replied to Badsneaker's topic in LEGO Town
If he sold the original instructions he brought from you....okay...once only, but if he is selling dozens and dozens of copies of same said design.....racking in the cash on the back of your hard work....eh, no. Your design is copy-righted ?
