Well, I could of.....but I'm not that nasty ! Seriously though, like most of the mid-year releases in the pasts two years.....they do seem in part, half hearted at best. Though I'll be buying all the mining sets, the helicopter rescue and parking garage.....I'm hooked on City !

I the house 'Selander', the red walls are the bomb ! A bit larger and you'll have a typical US farm barn......though as it is.....it would pass as a US farm house for sure ! Brick On 'Selander' !

I actually like the van and car that has actual real looking tyres....not the over-wide ones ! Seriously I would love to know the design brief given to the designer, an old school parking garage design in Lego, but there are still holes in the design. But has Lego been any different, though it gives as AFOL's something to do.....it's called modifying a set !

Thanks 'gotoAndLego' for your kind words, I should say that the interior will be at least 48 stud deep plus the small trade counter area....so that's 40 studs by 48 studs - tiled and fitted out !

Thanks 'michael' for your kind words, I seem to specialise in shop fittings in Lego....I have always like making shops and a like even when I was in my dark times (I built HO scale town buildings....MOC's that is but not in Lego....remember dark times I said ). Hanna Barbera was once owned by James Hardie Industries in the 1970's when the Super Friend's were made, but now part of TimeWarner so anything from the Super Friends might be a possibility in the future....well maybe. Though this is straying a little off-topic.

A quick photo update, I must say sorry for the quality of my photography today. You can see the second gondola taking shape, with safety gear and brazing gas bottles on the bottom shelf. The black device next to the chop saw is a mag drill. Don't know what one is...... More tomorrow.....comments always welcome...keep watching !

Thanks for the review 'Redhead1982', excellent set minus the trailer....how can you design a great camper van and it's trailer sucks ! Neat BBQ and picnic table.....nice interior of the van and the minidolls do fit side by side (though one would be either waving to someone or hand on the other girls leg ). At least you dont have to heavily modify a city vehicle to that side by side sitting minifigs. Might twist my arm to add this to my small collection of Friend' sets. Interesting cart 'Pietsmurf, that's one big mail carrier on the front and are those wheels glued onto those white taps....I guess there would be no other way of doing it. An original idea anyway, Birck On 'Pietsmurf' !

Thanks 'LT12V', I still have to make a sticker for the saw blade cover to id the brand.....I have also started the middle gondola which will be finished minus stock tomorrow.
