The one thing that must be bared in mind with ideas is the word 'children'. A product must be suitable for children....hence some of 'SheepEaters' ideas would never even leave the launch pad. Now instead of this topic drifting off in a tangent of what's right or not right for a set design, I'll make a fresh or reboot suggestion......truck stop. We nearly got one in 2010, and the last one was 1987 (forget anything TownJr......please ! ) so the time has come for a new one. It would fit both the trucks released in the past two years plus the Great Vehicles series....of course add into that the mining series.

Goodness, what a list ! I go the MMV first, followed by the GB and FB. Then the 4207 (only because I it)....after which take your pick. I guess the older the set, go for first.....because the rarer something gets.....$$$$$ goes up and up !

Thanks 'medib', I seem to have the knack for building realistic props for my town.....I always consider it a challenge. The Ford dealer building will keep it's frontage, but depth might change....not sure until I move it and merge it.....keep watching !

Thanks 'Redhead1982' for your kind words, the clear 'macaroni' piece...yeah, it's handy having a Lego spare parts store only 7km from home. (They have a lot of older parts, sometimes even rare ones too ! )

Plans are changing.....the Ford dealer is merging with the new tyre fitting workshop and then a section to the right of said workshop will have tyres stacked up followed by tractors, etc., on display.....hope to have something to show tomorrow night (very bust work day, so no building today....oops ). Please any suggestions, etc., are always welcome.

I agree with you.....ditto on the comment. Seriously a funeral procession, I don't think so - sad ideas don't sell, funny ones like Monster Fighters does. Really we should see more buildings like the ones featured in those 5 minute Lego City cartoons....with those fool-hardy crooks !

Spent part of this evening working on the tyre dealer, lowering the roof level so the side door isn't dwarfed by the roller door. Plus tomorrow I might start on a structure to join it - say tractor sales perhaps. Suggestions as well as comments are always welcome......keep watching !

Well, by all rights it could be the first set to be shown for next year.....and it appears not to be a regular police copter....an actual rescue one I say to extend onto the mining sets for this year.....perhaps a rescue truck or perhaps even a forest fire station.....hey we'll be due for another fire station right ?

Excellent modular entry there 'jirikone', that facade is the bomb and fantastic highly detailed interior....never seen so many bookcases in a Lego creation before.....though one thing missing perhaps a coffee machine ? Good luck and Brick On 'jirikone' !
