I have started a row of shops to sit to the left side of the post office, a chemist, newsagent and one other shop....not sure - might be a butcher again. It may that a while though, money is tight again and my hot water system has failed in a big way......up to 3000 bucks to replace ! I'll try and have some fresh photos up a.s.a.p., so keep watching keep suggesting !

Congrats 'moctown', 'LegoJalex', and 'Myko' !

Back room is impossible as each building is open backed, my tilt of my hat to classic town sets I as a kid. A soft drink machine eh ? (we'll see )

True, that little cement mixer if adapted to be towed by a vehicle will spin it's drum while the vehicle is in motion. Back on topic, I wonder what items I can include in a newsagent apart from of course newspapers and magazines ?
-
Thanks for an excellent review 'Hinckley', malfunctioning play features.....oh, well....it will be alright on the night eh ? I only have this and Weathertop to buy now, so fingers crossed this week for this one....bills come first sadly ! The DSS is the only let down, so many parts requiring stickers.....but what could Lego do....tie up a whole stack of castle parts in the designs from LOTR only ? Brick On Review On 'Hinckley' !
-
Over on ANZFOL some of the members have asked for a newsagent.....so that's next now....I'll scratch one up tomorrow. Any other suggestions or some ideas for the newsagent are very welcome.
-
Another crane.....perhaps the return of more Great Vehicles eh ? Oh, well as soon as we can get some realistic sounding rumours that 'Rick', 'Ricecracker' or 'Phred' will start a 2013 City topic ?
-
Cool LDD copy of the vehicle out of the new video game 'Legoroni', I wonder if five or six wide could be done as well ? LDD On 'Legoroni' !

LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors
lightningtiger replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
If memory serves me correct, the Z-95 is the forerunner of the X-wing. Now that list is so-so, need images to truly see the value in them apart of course from the rancor pit. The TOR BP might be interesting....but we shall see. -
AWESOME ship building there 'MacGyver', I'll show my wife the images of your creation tomorrow....she is a huge Titanic fan and loves anything to do with the ship or it's sad end. I'll post what my wife thinks tomorrow night......Brick On 'MacGyver' !
-
Thanks for the feedback, I need more base plates so I can put the roads, etc., in and yes, the bridge will be back at a later stage. Oh, the cement mixer is going to one that is towed behind a pickup truck or alike.....but thanks for the suggestion anyway. Even my wife has made a suggestion of a medical centre.......which I shall look into. Keep watching !
-
Excellent old mine 'greg3'.....your little village is really coming along. Keep going and Brick On !
-
AWESOME classic roadster sports car 'ER0L', I'll have to take a close look at those front fenders. Brick On Drive On !
-
Yeah, but not very realistic.....though did you know if you push the mixer along the drum turns ? I'm looking at a very realistic design and in minifig/red wheel barrow scale too. But thanks for the suggestion 'Alasdair'.
-
Cheeky...... sorry, not yet - I have to print out the pdf's to be priced up.....next week. That town hall idea might come though as the main street layout has changed today....perhaps next to the post office ? Keep watching everyone !
-
Changes are happening, only one cross intersection will be in the design with a very, very long main street. Broken up into town centre on the left and heavier industrial/engineering stuff on the right. (okay, so the Landmark could be considered that too....but I'm in control !) So is what we currently have built......tons more to come ! Keep watching.....and please more suggestions are quite welcome.

Toy Corner has taken delivery of Monster Hunters......they also still have 25% off. BigW has the mining dump truck and mining transporter on sale for 38 bucks. -
I'll join the chorus and say I like it too ! Does look Imperial eh ? A great fusion of ideas from I would say the Clone Wars....perhaps ? Brick On 'Bob De Quatre' !
-
Thanks 'Captain J', now an overhead view might be a while as it's 48 stud deep but at least 288 or more studs wide so an overhead view is going to be difficult....I hope next week I can (because I'm waiting on two things......money and 48x48 base plates). Quick little update..... I'm trying to design a brand new cement mixer to go in the builders yard too.....lots of blue needed there. Keep watching !
-
Excellent little MOC's you have made 'harton', great drawing board too ! Brick On 'harton' !
-
AWESOME modular city 'castor-troy', a wonderful blend of actual Lego designs with your own ! Brick On 'castor-troy' !

Are you able to read the numbers on the diode body ? Plus are you also able to trace out the circuit from the pcb layout and from that you might be able to work out the voltage of the zener. Question is why did a zener fail ?
-
Thanks 'LegofreakKO345' for your kind words, now the back story....the company doesn't exist as a builders supplier any more, they still sort of exist as a glass supplier. Clarkson's sold hardware, paint, glass and even sporting gear in South Australia up until the late 1970's but started before the beginning of the 20th century. They even traded in Western Australia. I simply chose a old school South Aussie business name for this building. More to come....keep watching !
