Oooh more names I like. These are so much better than G1's post 2006 "Hey let's take English words and add a few Xs" stuff. Like Kulta (and the Protectors' names, to a lesser extent), they feel like names of MNOG Matoran. Yup, I thought the same thing. More than the Baterra though, I'd like to see if they can reuse the Element Lords. Those would be awesome counterparts to the Toa.Oh and come on guys, no way they're skipping Kopaka lol.

Lewa looks a lot better if you replace his keetorange shells with tr bright green ones. I can see the appeal of keetorange but it didn't feel very right to me.

Dunno if this should go here or in the 2016 sets thread, I feel it's more wishful thinking than real speculation. But up to VBBN to decide my fate. I think it's fair to assume that Ekimu (if Hunter is Ekimu that is) is going to get a treatment akin to that of the other 2016 Toa sets in terms of mask colours. One way could be: mask in its primary colour (gold MoCr in his case) + special recolour (transparent version?). Or, looking at it from another point of view, maybe each Toa gets their mask in their primary colour + a gold recolour, while Ekimu gets the opposite (gold MoCr + tr. light blue MoCr?).Hopefully everything I wrote makes sense to the average speaker, I'm tired and I had some trouble writing this. Sorry. EDIT: Wrong colour, man I'm really tired.

Hunter is probably Ekimu if the bottom 3-4 are the larger sets. Perhaps Ekimu replaces Onua, who gets a simpler design. And this way HF's Golden Boys Trio would be back- red, white and gold.

G1: orange Vahi, copper Huna, tr. yellow Kaukau, chrome Hau, Ultimate Dume Kraahkan if it counts, and that's it IIRC. G2: clear and tr. orange Mask of Fire, I don't know if I'll ever get my hands on the tr. neon Scorpio mask, I spent enough on the clear MoF already. (One of each, that goes for all masks I mentioned)

I like the names, I just have to memorize them (been forever I had to do that with BIONICLE, eh?). They don't quite have the 2001-esque feeling Ekimu and Kulta have, but they're way better than the names we got in the later years, the barely disguised English or Latin words (Carapar, Axonn, Mantax..) were just terrible. Yeah, save the pic for the nonbelievers. Pics on 4chinz don't stay up for long.

I'd really like to see trans red above anything else. Sure, it's really dark but sometimes trans reddish orange just doesn't cut it. Makuta would be a good set to introduce it with.

Really sucks for you guys, sorry. But at least this might imply that us folks living in the rest of Europe are getting a 1:1 conversion, since Ekimu vs Kulta is 29,99 Euro in Italy and the other European countries.

Surprised I haven't commented on this yet. Yet another show of how much good these SW figures are doing to CCBS. Integration with Technic has reached a fairly satisfying (while not yet perfect) point, System should be next logical step, especially since it flows with the smooth CCBS shells so well. I'm not asking for something on par with Brickthing's MOCs, but some bricks to fill out blank spaces would be cool.Definitely hope to see more like this in future sets, bonkles included. EDIT: Wrong quote lol. -
Lol, Kulta holds his staff on the opposite hand in the animation. They finally make a left-handed character like me and he's the main villlain. :laugh: But really, the animations look very cool. Dat Kulta blocking Kopaka's (?) energy blast with his bare hand.

Last day I had this horrific dream that Grievous was on S@H and sold for 70 Euro. I really hope they opt for a 1:1 conversion and don't add 5 or more Euro to each set, surely you know SW in Europe tends to get that treatment.

In a dream world I'd rather see Elves instead. All the pastel and transparent colours would be awesome to get, not to mention some neat elements (wings, decorations, staffs and other tools). Pieces from "girl themes" (hate that expression, but it's to get the point across) can work really well for some constraction characters due to their ornate look, just look at Ekimu's shield.

The commercial was great, and Grinder does look really cool wearing the MoCr, all I'm wondering is: in the box art he's not wearing the MoCr and he's trying to melt it instead, now he actually wants to use it? Maybe MMvsSG tells of a prequel scene of when Grinder managed to steal and use the MoCr and later used it to raise the Skeletons?

I think people got the torn cloth thing from Huw's first report on Toy Fair and it stuck. Sure doesn't look like cloth to me, more like ancient, battle-worn armour.

France, as far as I know, gets the sets around the same time of most other European countries except special cases like Germany. So, at least in theory, the sets should be available over here as well.Thanks! There is a Lego Store close to me, it's technically unofficial but it seems linked to Lego and gets some exclusive stuff (keychains, pens, etc) so it's a bit hard to tell. I know they got the new Airjitzu sets, but the Fire vs Ice Chima Speedorz last year came out during this time (along with the Ultrabuilds) so not sure if it means anything. I guess I'll take a look during the next 1-2 weeks, I'm currently swamped with exams. I know there are a few Italian BIONICLE fans here, maybe they can check? Not as helmets, but I'm definitely eager to try using those pieces in ways the official sets don't, such as chest armour.EDIT 2: Found this. Seems to confirm a September date here, though these aren't always accurate (back in December, some sites listed the Winter Wave due to February or even March). Still, at least the European prices should be official- 30 Euro for MM vs SG, so no markups like with Queen Beast.

Has that ever happened in France? It's not one of those countries that get sets early, as far as I know. This is reminiscient of when the Chima Ultrabuilds would hit European stores in June (IIRC the 3 Marvel Ultrabuilds in 2012 did too). Maybe that goes for BIONICLE this year, while the SW Ultrabuilds arrive in August/September (like HF did in the past years)?Maybe I should check the stores here, though it seems too good to be true.

At least the others didn't translate Maker with the equivalent of Builder, like the Italian dub of the animated episodes did. How do you build a mask, anyway? "Creatore" should've been used, akin to the Spanish translation. Could you post each Skull wearing his respective corrupted gold mask (Basher with the Mask of Earth, etc)? Thanks!
