This is the opening scene from my favorite movie of all time. Joliet Jake gets out and is picked up by his brother Elwood in an old cop car. All four figures are custom figs made by me. Lunchtime at The Column OF Times The Column Of Times was built to honor the heroes of past, present, and future. Unfortunately the town board decided to let the citizens decide who would be immortalized, which led to figures such as the merman, zombie hunter, and Flower Power girl. It's central location has made this spot a wonderful place to get a hot dog and relax during the nice summer months. I am working on my entry for category B and had a few questions: 1) What does "The first Eurobricks collectible minifigure set" mean exactly? Is this going to be something that is resold, or just given the title and displayed online as such? I may be making some custom parts that cannot be easily replicated at this moment. 2) I know we cannot use figures that we have posted previously, but can we use parts of them in new combinations? If I reuse a decaled torso but with new head, legs, hair, etc. is that acceptable? My figs are almost done, now I have to work on the vignette, thanks in advance!

Sorry about that, the original post has now been edited to include accessories info. Thanks guys, the reason he looks too cool for school is his Navy Seal training. The reality is he IS to cool and laidback, which has become his greatest weapon! Thanks again, I hope to have new figures in this genre up soon.

I have been working on a few Post Apocalyptic figures, I thought I would share them here and get some feedback, please let me know what you think, thanks! Ghost, Zombie Killer The lone wolf of my post apocalyptic world, Ghost is thought to be the last US Navy Seal left in the country. He was left for dead when his unit was attacked outside of a small African village. Found by a local witch doctor, he was nursed back to health. He now roams the planet, vowing to rid this world of its newest virus! All of the custom accessories are from Brickforge and are currently available at their store. Enjoy!

This a wonderful review, I think you are spot on with your praise and warnings. The centaur is a figure we have all wanted for a long time and it has been a big hit so far! No offense dude, but you are talking about things you do not understand. What makes you think that Brickforge is suffering because of their prices? Did Armothe send you his last tax statement or something? Just because you will not spend the money does not mean no one is. As someone who worked the booth at Brickfair and Brickworld, I can tell you that there is an overwhelming amount of people who are dying to have the accessories that Brickforge make, at the prices they are listed at now. You keep wanting to equate this business with a widget company, and that is a mistake. There is no manufacturing plant, no business park, and no corporate headquarters. Brickforge is far and away the most successful accessory company around, and it is growing at a good, organic pace. They offer high quality products that are of LEGO quality, but there is no multinational corporation producing 10 million units, and the prices reflect that difference. As for the plastic quality issue, buy a few pieces, then tell us what you think. Sorry to go off on a rant, but you need to know more information before you start spouting your knowledge!

Great pictures Omi! The new stuff was incredibly popular, the brown centaurs sold out pretty quickly, and it seemed like everyone who checked out had a lamppost or some ammo packs. Even a few LEGO employees came over after the public left and drooled over some of the crazy stuff they saw! The custom figures went over pretty well as well. The Space Marine figures sold out in a day (I made 64 of them!), and the riot cops went quickly too. The prices are not cheap, but neither are the figures. Each has anywhere from 3-7 separate waterslide decals and are well sealed so they can be played with. The knights are made with printable fabric that is permanently attached to the torso and sealed so the designs will not fade over time. As Omi said, everything will be listed on Brickforge soon, and the Custom Minifig website is being worked on as we speak, and should be up soon. I will let everyone know when that happens.
