LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Robert8 replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
TF is this?? Is this a 6 minifigures series? Am I reading this right? -
You can say, the TLG's Dragon Costume is orders of magnitude superior compared with mine, which is good in a way because that's the real one. The inspiration for Beauty Spa Girl was one of my mom's friends called Shirley lol I was really proud of the Samba Dancer, but in restrospective, I think I made a poor job with the headdress. It doesn't really look like a lego piece My favs are Trojan, Dark Ballerina and Statue. On a side note, I'd really like to have a pink series. I know that color belongs to Friends, but it would be nice. Ranking series starts to get tricky here. I'll place Series G under Series E but above Series A SERIES F SERIES C SERIES E SERIES G SERIES A SERIES B SERIES D

Is it too early to call this my Magnum Opus? Because sure feels like it sometimes. One of my favorites as a whole for sure The Hat Maker took a lot of time to figure out, especially the color scheme. The Cartoon faces also were tricky to make. They are not as simple to make as they seem. And I made several to choose from. Thank God for YouTube tutorials. I watched a couple about "rubberhose" cartoon art, and it was very useful. I wanted to make a cartoon boy with a cartoon dog and a cartoon baby. Also, a cartoon villain. But the Series F Cartoon and upcoming Cartoon Girl already look too childlish, and, again, I ran out of spots Gynoid would be a more adequate name, you're correct. But I felt it wasn't as well known as "android" From this series Piñata Party Boy, Spooky Knight and Minstrel came to happen in real CMFs My favorites from this series are well... pretty much all of them. If I could choose a series of mine for TLG to produce as real CMFs, it would be either this one or Series K, but we'll get into that one later. Series F is at the top of course SERIES F SERIES C SERIES E SERIES A SERIES B SERIES D

71033 LEGO Muppets CMF Series - Rumors & Discussion

And a keychain -
Ha funny bit of triva about series E. I had a little accident during the time I was working on this series, so I had to make some of these with only 1 hand. Thankfully it was only a couple of weeks Anyways, back on track with Series E. I definitely feel a better about this one than the last one. Sneaky Guy, Gingerbread Woman, Caroler and Alien Leader are my favs here The Sprinter's prosthetic leg and Alien Leader's head were the more tricky pieces for sure. There is no joke in the Accountant's printed tile. Just a bunch of numbers. Sorry :) Because I was going to post this series on December, it crossed my mind to make it all christmas themed, but ended up ditching the idea. Several of the characters I had in mind ended up in Advent Calendars. I'll place this series above Series A, but still under Series C SERIES C SERIES E SERIES A SERIES B SERIES D

Already? Isnt it too early to start with the megablocks, It's the 7th day of the year
-
There was also a Discord/Eris minifigure in Series Q I remember Aphrodite almost made it at some point Harpy is in the very next series Series Y And for Series Z there is a character from Norse mithology
-
Well, Series D is my first "low". This is the first time I feel I really failed at one of these. Miss the mark with a buch of stuff: bad selection of characters, bad excecution of ideas and poor choice for accesories. My least favorite series yet A handfull of these don't deserve CMF status anymore, because of BAM There is already an ice cream cone costume. It was introduced this year in City Porridge Eater wont get her 3 bears. Masked Hero, Porridge Eater and Grim Reaper are my favs from this wave And the rank goes SERIES C SERIES A SERIES B SERIES D Oh thank you so much for your time and effort @ARTU It really means a lot to me. It looks really nice. Maybe she got a make over and hair is black and down? Thanks! And glad you like like them Darrell Hi there I wasn't planning to include Apollo, but some people were asking for him, included you, so here it is.
-
Series C was the best one so far, without a doubt. Everything worked so well.... back then, because nowdays I'd say the Green Boxer belongs to BAM and so does the Kayaker Toymaker was high note in this series. In my first attempt to the character, I gave him a clown doll, I didn't like how it looked. The micro version of the Toy Soldier gave the character a more charming christmassy vibes. I wonder if there is an evil counterpart somwhere.... Iike a spooky Dollmaker or something hmmmmm Evil Queen, Bearded Woman, Banker and Tambourine Player are probably my favs (along with the Toymaker) From this series, Ladybug Girl ended up being made. I still don't get why TLG went with long legs, a child wearing the costume makes more sense like the Series 17 Butterfly Girl Country Singer was made in Vidiyo but I wouldn't count that one because the take on the character was completely different. The inspiration for the Country Singer was a show called Nashville. Being the best series so far, the rank goes SERIES C SERIES A SERIES B

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 22. Rumors and discussion
Robert8 replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I wonder how much the pandemic affected the CMFs sales Because a common complain with the VIDIYO Bandmates series was that you couldnt "feel" the content, which would also be true with the CMFs from Series 20 onwards -
From Series B Scarecrow Lady is the one I cant believe still doesnt exists as a CMF. Some from this series were meant to have a counterpart that unfortunately never happened (and never will because I ran out of spots), like Aztec Emperor or a female Paranormal Investigator About the Rapper Girl, she overlaps with the Series 20 one. So its hard to tell if it counts as already made. I still regret not giving the Archer a hat+hair combo I made Series A and B characters pretty much simultaneously and it shows I think Still I like Series A a bit better, so the rank so far would be SERIES A SERIES B Thanks. I had the feeling you'd like the Enchantress. Thanks. Happy new year to you too Im going to end this project with Series Z. So there are only 2 series left. After 6 years and 30 series, I think its a good time to stop And there is another Steampunk character in the next series!

REVIEW: 71032 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 22
Robert8 replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I have a question about the wheelchair racer Is the small wheel a new piece? Is it combined with the tire, like a whole single mold? -
I'm afraid the Road Runner BrickHead might be a thing of nightmares EDIT. it looks good
-
Bane, the character from DC, would be banned according to that
-
Also a red leprechaun, considering leprechauns were originally red and they got changed to green
-
That's a great idea. I can post something like after Series Z as extra content. Thanks About the first question. I don't really keep track of that. Some are very easy to pin point, like the pajamas girls But some others... not so much because they overlap without being the exact same concept Glad to see you're back :) Thanks for the feedback. Means a lot Oh wow. Thanks for the full review of Series A My first babies :) I must say that's quite the sinister take on the Southern Business. Never thought it to be that way. The trolls is like the troll who lives under the bridge Still cant believe they haven't made a Gymanst in a regular CMF Now with BAM, I think some of these would belong there instead of a CMF, like the Skydiver Girl From these I'd say the Piper has the biggest chance to get made in LEGO form, considering how they like to include animals now.

That clown face is..... odd

Cant wait until someone makes a flat version of this set

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Robert8 replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Well, yep. this happened. I dont really care about Avatar so this license does nothing for me And if the Avatar 2 sets do really good, they will go back to the first one and release sets from it Now with 2 SciFi licenses, there is pretty much 0 chances for an in house space theme At least Castle and Pirates are somewhat flatlining with LEGO IDEAS here and there. But In house space seems to be dead and buried I guess we'll have to wait to see what Series 23 bring us -
Thanks for the full review Fixed the White Chess King description. Thanks Of course you're right! I forgot to mention the koala boy has the "bamboo" piece as eucalyptus. Funny that you would say that about the Steampunk Explorer, because you're right on the money. Her name was orginally Globetrotter and she would have a 3x2 tile printed with a victorian era stemapunk styled map. I also thought about naming her Steampunk Adventuress as counterpart to the Series Q Steampunk Adventurer, but nah... I wanted her to be her own thing The trident was definitely an option for the Evil Mermaid, but I decided against it because I wanted the trident to stay exclusive the Ocean King The crow is from Series I. Forgot to mention that Clay Golem could be nice variant

Thanks Eggyslav :) Thank you so much :) Thanks a lot :) The tail took me a bit to figure it out, but I really like how it came out
-
Toy Fairs might at least provide confirmation I think The Flash is a given, considering Batman (Keaton Batman who TLG loves) is a big part of it Not so sure about the rest. Not even Aquaman 2
-
Thanks :) I would really like to see more skirt pieces The Series 15 one kind of disappeared Thanks for sharing your thoughts :) Thanks. Super glad you like them Thank you! Those took a lot of time to put together. Glad you like them
