Agree They fact that they are charging $5 for these is a complete travesty. Almost half of them look like $3.5 max -

Im surprised they didnt make that one a woman, considering it would be a female counterpart for the S2 Karate Master -
I was really hoping for the long "wolverine" ears. It would have looked awesome with Robert P's angular chin. The Batsuit looks almost like a stunt Batsuit

Ha these dont look half bad. I have to eat my own words here.

The other problem with City characters is that they will end up reappering in City sets. The S19 Fire Fighter was recolored for a City set. I bet the drone wiill reappear in a Fun at ??? City pack sooner or latter. So why waste a spot in the CMF for that? The price is a deal breaker this time around For example the Pajamas Girl comes with 5 pieces: hairpiece+head+torso+short legs+bunny. And its $5. She has less pieces than any of the DC CMFs. And without the licensing fee. For $5 I would have expected at least a fairytales book or something But the worst offender has to be Green Piece Dude. $5 for recoloring a S18 character, with only 5 pieces and no new molds. Again, less than any of the DC characters -

I wouldnt use my drawings as reference because the process is very different. I do pretty much what I want. TLG cant do that. They are limited by budget and such. Who knows, maybe they try different stuff but only city characters test well with children so thats what they produce -

I like costumes but at this point the Green Brick Guy could have like a promotional figure or be included in a LEGO store vignette set or something, instead of taking a CMF spot -

Agree about Green Brick Guy. Doesnt make sense that the anniversary figure for this theme is a rehash... And its $5, lets not forget. $5 for a recolor of a character we got 2 years ago at $4 What are they thinking? -
Well, piñata and stuffed bunny are animals too... just not real. Also, some of the S19 animals felt really forced. Like the flamingo was cool but the "Gardener" figure was really lackluster

And there is a Red Power Ranger-like figure, which would also be a SciFi character

Or maybe a different version of Mr Gold. Like with party hat -
Promobricks They posted the description for all the 16 characters from Series20

There is a female pirate coming our way in CMF Series 20 She has a new classic tricorn+hair piece "Pirate - The pirates should not be missing from the anniversary minifigure series. But this time there is the female form. The tricorn hat with red feather and integrated brown hair should be the most interesting here. Otherwise, a typical pirate sword is included as an accessory. The imprints of the minifigure are no longer spectacular. The torso is printed in a white robe with a brown belt. In addition, dark blue legs with red / brown print."

But Itaria is looking at 1 pic and sharing his impression The beard and helmet could be 2 different pieces. It's just that they happen to look like they are 1 piece all together. Though I have to say... with a helmet like that, the beard being a separate piece is unlikely Thanks @Itaria No Shintaku again for all the info provided this time around -

The Female Cyclops? They included one in Series 13 and there werent any on mythology. So they "made it up" But the female Faun cant be either because Itaria already said no fantasy characters on this one That's true. I forgot about it. So "female Wizard" is ruled out as well. So the list goes down to Space Miner Prospector Pizza Delivery Guy Videogame Fan Jester Swashbuckler One of those is getting a female counterpart.... who could it be? -

From that list I'd remove the Samurai because there is already a Samurai girl in Series 13. Also, there is no DJ in Series 2. Thats from Series 8. And I think a female mime might happen, but thats just an opinion. Thanks for making the list -

The other hint is more complicated considering the first series had very few women. Series 1 had 14 males, Series 2 and Series 3 had 13. Thats 40 males all together. Sure some of them already were given female counterparts like the Elf, some wouldnt make sense like the Spartan and some would be impossible like Gorilla Suit Guy (according to Itaria's post about the animal costume being new) But even so, thats still a lot of them to even make a list -
