  1. Ah, it seems you are correct. I did my judging by the set number and box art design. ...but do not.
  2. ZOMG'1'111'''!! Commander Gree has been resurected from his green midget induced death!!
  3. Looking nice so far, Mr. Tiber. I don't have much to say about it now besides I will gladdly await some more progress. Keep up the good work. *y* I would actually like it more as a pirate inn, and I too am surprised that you didn't post it there.
  4. Hmm......I probably should have been more clear. I doubt it's a MOC and you can click the picture for the gallery. Robot vehical......this is just too weird to be anything......
  5. While browsing Brickshelf I found this - Now, what the hell is it? *wacko*

    Birthday trio!

    Make that four. :-P :'-(
  7. I would actually bet this is a new castle set that the site accidentally put under the category of vikings. If you look at the original Castle poster one can see a ship far in the distance at about the middle of the poster. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2210783 That picture's one of the smaller scans, but you can still see the ship.
  8. I think someone's been watching a little too much Family Guy...... But, personally, I do hate all portmanteauxs......it's so stupid. :-P
  9. You mean the Super ISD surrounded by a fleet of smaller ISDs?
  10. Commander, I am currently located on the planet of Kessel......I've been working on the plans for our new permenant base........ General oo7 over and out.
  11. And so it appears that Island Boy did not consume Kahuka afterall!! I took this photo at the LEGOLAND CA Funtown Market; http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/000/LEGOLAND/dsc02650.jpg - It looks like they have ripped off our smilies! :-D I was too lazy to resize it and flip it, but if you have a Dell PC you can just press ALT+CTRL+Right arrow key!

    oo7's WWI

Ah, have you seen our member Gallery's Ju 52? It seems he has two different versions, one of which he's selling and a couple other propeller propelled passenger planes including a DC-3 and a DC-4. It will mean whatever you interpret it to be. ;-) Wow, what a truely flattering responce! Perhaps you could provide me some insight on the model basis of my Sears & Robuck plane/bank considering your intrest in the subject? And I missed that Red Baron (It's not like I was going to buy it anyway) in a semi-sorta-kinda-"dark ages". Although it certainly does look very nice. Heh. I still find the eye funny myself. It's from this set; http://cache.lego.com/images/shop/prod/101...000-xx-12-1.jpg "Mrs. Bunny". And I'm still trying to figure out why there is an old foliage-entwined keg of gasoline in there. :-D You remeber correctly, Mr. Tiber; Ah, very well! I'll look forward to seeing some progress pictures sometime!
  13. Ahha! They managed to sneak J.K. into the very European Cafe! Thanks for the nice review, Mr. Dunamis! I'm sure many people will be happy about those classic smiles too. Haven't seen those in a while, alothough personally, I like the unique decorated faces alot more. I have to buy this set........now I have to continue my hunt for the money. My only complaint would be those white umbrellas are way too small. And the green baseplate. Thanks again for the review!
  14. AAAAHHHH Criminal!! He's breaking federal law, let's hang him!! and chamber! ban him!!! Ban the outlaw! Ban the outlaw! GGAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  15. Belated Greetings, Mr. Roni! Are Bioneuckelz and Star Wars the extent of your injection-molded ABS tolerance? On average you write 8.4 posts each day. Not too shaby at all.......

    oo7's WWI

You're right about the top round tiles, however formerly partially matched, as in early stages of development I had used black, yellow, and dark red (with the small amount of white and grays). I really should have taken them off by now. Although I think the lower black and white wing tiles still match well. Hmmm........like the plane Indy uses to travel to Nepal in Raiders? That would be big....... :-D I was doing some initial experimenting there.......it appears it is a success. :-D Wow, thank you very much. I've never been there before, but it looks interesting.... P.S. I've added a slightly frivilous but constuctive poll to this topic.....

    oo7's WWI

Thanks for the input Mr. Phes *y*. The only suitable color that those really long slopes come in is dark bley, so there's that, and the secondary color could be (dark) blue, (dark) red, (dark) green, light grey, white or and only in the this case, black (If it were in, maybe, blue or dark blue I might change the ownership of the plane of the allied powers, though). Ah, a reasurance from a very experienced builder, just what I needed Mr. Norro! That sure is a different comment - The wings are further apart then my, personal, model but I think it's fine comared to other planes. ;-)

    oo7's WWI

Thank you Mister Tiber, I'm glad you like it. Right now I have other burning building desires, but I might think of something else WWI, and more likely WWII sometime in the future. I was waiting for someone to comment on 'the eye' :-D . Well, I'm way too lazy to make and print a correctly sized German Cross, so there goes that. As for the '1x1 bricks, or plates, that I would do the same with in the back', are you saying you would put a mini German Cross on two 1x1 tiles, one for each side of tailplane? Anyways, thanks for the feedback, the lists of specific suggestions like that are very useful. ;-)

    oo7's WWI

Thank you Emperor, and I can assure you, the combination of black and yellow is barely realistic. The black is alright, but really only for German planes, but the yellow really isn't in the least good. Thanks for the nice complements, Matthew. I'm delighted to hear I've inspirided you to MOC ON! Thank you! :-)
  20. Here is one of my latest MOCing endeavors, a German biplane from The Great War. I'm pretty happy with everything except the color scheme. *'The Flight if the Bumblebee' plays in head* :'-( Here's my pilot; he's German if you didnt already notice. ;-) Now for the graphical logorrhea......(Oh joy! *sweet*) Minifigure scale. I based the scale of this on a Sears and Robuck die-cast steel biplane piggy bank thingie that a relative gave me as a Christmas present a while back.....I wish I had saved the original box for a conformation of the name and scale of the thing. From what I've gathered, it's a 1950's model built for recreation and nostalgic reflection purposes, due to the aerodynamic design of the wheel hubs. It would also most likely be American. On my model I've restored the 1910's wheels so now it seems to primarily resemble a Sopwith Camel. I still might take another picture or two sometime soon...........The whole aeronautic gallery.

  24. TLC would never make a spikey Darth Maul. The first thing we clearly see of Maul is a shady concealed character camping out on the outskirts of..............Mos Espa (had to do a little reasearch there) sending out droids to spy on people, and dressed all in black. Basically, he needs his hood.
