  1. Yes, it's very easy to tell Brickshelf MOCs from real sets if you know your stuff. Although there has been a German, French and American Toyfair. No British. And I predict that the Hoth set will be small, but still great. Hopefully we'll get; * Hoth Luke, Hoth Han, and Chewie. * 1 Taun-Taun * 1 Hoth Rebel * 2 Snowtroopers * 1 Vader * 1 computer console & 1 tool rack both underground * 1 Turret above * 1 Brick-built Probe droid.
  2. The poster was created in 1917 to encourage recruitment in the United States Army during WWI. It was later revived for WWII, but it's still most famous for WWI. Great Britian, the Jewish Legion, the Soviet Union, and the Basque Nationalist Party of France soon followed with there own imitations. My point being it is an American Clich
  3. General oo7 reporting in........ We are all in good order here on the surface, we have mostly been repairing the ships and training the troops. We even assembled a coulple new ships. Overall, not a whole lot important, just recouperation.
  4. Oh. Dem Canucks colloquially refer to their currency as bucks? I thought that was just an American thing...........
  5. Yes, good idea. Although that other thread isn't in T&T but Non-system themes. I suggest it should be moved to T&T.
  6. Yeah, me too. That seems too soon. The price is actually not that bad for what it is, it's the same price as the sandcrawler but with 387 more pieces. But unfortunately, the interior is empty. *sad* I'll hoping for just a checkered tile floor. And we are fairly sure Lego will be making other moduals to fit in with this one. After all, there were three at the toy fair.
  7. You're welcome, I'm glad you two enjoyed my pictures. I now realize that I forgot to link the main gallery, so here it is now, http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=237115 There's a few others there that I didn't post.......and I have more on my hard drive, but they're not any better than the ones currently on Brickshelf...... Whoops. Something there went a-Sl<r3wy! *wacko* Wow, that is exactly the responce I was awiating. :-P

    Peeps thread!

Oh no.........I never imagined it would come to this............Not here on this Lego forum................... Now you people need to read this.
  9. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cache
  10. Lego Digital Designer, which it is not.
  11. Yes, yes, I knew what you meant. ;-) But everyone listen up to Mr. Calvin, he's certainly got a good point. Diet or not........ Edit: Yes! My poll is clearly superior over the others of "Mad Poll Day"!
  12. I wonder why Lego has not taken down their pictures yet..... *wacko* If you don't want people to see them don't post them on your own site!! Edit: Should we make a rule; "anything posted in the Lego 'Backroom' is officially NOT leaked"?
  13. Indeed. *y* Vault. X-D Mhhh......Yes, design wise at least. It will 'launch' in April.
  14. Our kind member tnickolaus posted this in the 2007 sets thread in General Lego Discussion. :'-) Move On!
  15. :'-) :'-) :'-) :'-) :'-) :'-) :'-) :'-) :'-) :'-) Wow................I better start saving up! Thank you Tnickolaus!!!! I wonder what those fanned out white rods are......... Front Page On!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Phhh.....Here in New York one can never find any fairly old sets in stores......any Lego at all can be found only in the big higher-end toystores and Target/Wal*Mart. I found the 2003 Coast Guard HQ 7047 probably somtime early 2006/late 2005 at a shuting down KB Toyworks.
  17. No clues. Hey you, European member, we need your help!! Yes, YOU!
  18. Ah, but the name of this forum is LEGO History and Adventure. The Pirates forum is also specifically Lego, but the discription reads; "Discuss pirate, colonial history, Napoleonic Wars, Mesoamerican civilisations (Aztec, Maya, Inca, etc) and the Age of Sail themes here!" I wonder if Mister Phes is aware of the mispelling in 'civilisations' (sic)..........
  19. I hate Napolean Dynamite. I hate MTV. This short is pretty dumb. The worst of the few Robot Chicken skits I've seen, which I usually enjoy. It just wasn't funny at all......... Another thing; isn't this forum supposed to be LEGO History and Adventure? If any Lego forum this should be in the pirate forum.....but it really should be in either community or C&M.
  20. General oo7 to Commander Scouts........ Commander, are you in need of reforcements? And are there any other tasks we must accomplish here on Dantooine? over and out

  22. I need no more time, I finally done! Now OFF WITH HIS HEAD!! OK, one of the things I found most interesting was the usage of the 'real' foliage. Irish Moss is used for the grass and there are many different types of shrubs used for large trees! Here we have a couple workers caring for this delicate vegetation. :-D Here we have a Jazz Funeral that I was just compelled to capture due to the neat cemetery ;-) . Now for some trivia; who knows the story being the moss infestation in there? AND who knows why graveyards always have such large fences? This is fountain is gushing out large torrents of water, which is pretty cool, but those three people in the inner-most doughnut are wading in knee deep water.... I was also compelled to take a photograph of this here zoo, the little birds and moneys were just too cute..... FLYING LLAMA!!!!! X-D One can only wonder what's happening here.............. And now, here, is our very primitive WIP Las Vegas! (Here's DC in the background) I was surprised to see how much work goes into creating underground foundations, they have to pour concrete, construct wooden and steel supports, set Styrofoam templates, and run wires everywhere! 8-
  23. Where did you get that? I see 47 USD.......
  24. Shucks. I missed this one. It was a very close tie between Mr. Willem's Ambulence and Mr. Delahaye's Gritter. What finally broke it was the blue windows on the Ambulence. I don't like blue windows very much. Job well done to all who entered the contest and thanks to Mr. Windu!
